Despite two rather high cal days, my Sunday weight of 133.8 has held this morning. That's what I love about daily weighing. I can see that I'm on the maintenance cusp for now and it's time to get back to lower cals so I can lose a little more, but most importantly hold on to my good number.
Okay dokey, t'is NOW time to have a little fun personal challenge for myself for my own personal amusement here in the blog.
The RATIONALE is that I really don't feel good physically or mentally when I consume more calories than my body needs AND when the weight starts creeping back on in tiny increments. Plus, I really, truly (yes) AM trying to lose some pounds and eating a bit lower on the calorie tree helps in that endeavor.
THE CHALLENGE is to TRY to stay in the 1600s or less calorie range. Success is defined by the "TRY" factor. Unlike Yoda, I believe trying is the most important thing, not necessarily hitting the target every single time.
This is DAY 1 and to get myself started, here is the calorie template, I will update daily, starting tomorrow. During this time period, I am focusing only on posting calories, not whatever exercise I do.
