Hey Ladies

Birthday was good but I think I was a little more loose with my calories and food stuff from Friday night until now (Sunday morning). I didn't count yesterday (my birthday) but I'm starting right now again, don't want to get out of the habit.

Hoping to go to the zoo today with my boyfriend, which will be a nice few hours of walking.

So glad that I got down another kg/2.2 pounds this past week - just hope I haven't undone it yesterday! But if so...not going to worry too much, I'm back on track as of today, birthdays happen and I don't want to not enjoy my birthday!

Lori thanks for the yard sale tip ... that's what I tell DH when I try to get him to stop. I even told him about Jiggle and the treadmill find. Oh well I'll keep trying

Good evening everyone. Just a quick post busy with bookwork tonight for TOPS. Tomorrow is weigh in night so I will see how i've done this week by their scales. I'm getting real good on counting my calories. today I met my goal at 1185, met goal for fat at 40, and met goal for protein at 73. I was under on carbs at 145. I just cant wait to get to go to the gym tomorrow. It's my second home, sometimes I hate to leave. Hope all had a good weekend. Have a good day tomorrow.

complete week 6 of C25K ~ on track did Wk6D1 today

break into the 160's ~ 173.3 this morning!

make a dinner menu plan for at least 4 times a week ~ getting better but still not great

Zumba every Saturday ~ falling down on this one, going to try to adapt to go to Zumba weekly and get to one of the weekday evening classes

Urgh. The boyfriend and I didn't end up going to the zoo yesterday - I was hoping to at least call that exercise for the day - instead we lazed around on the couch and watched a couple of DVDs. I'm a little frustrated but I was right back on with counting my calories yesterday after my birthday Saturday, and I purposefully kept them lower than my usual number to try to make up for it, something I'm doing Monday/Tuesday and possibly Wed this week as well.

I know it wasn't the best choice of activities for a day off work, but it's very rare that him and I just spend a day hanging out together relaxing so I think it was possibly not too terrible?

Have to get back into my exercise after work today. Also have to try to avoid the cake hanging around. My boyfriend made me the most amazing giant Totoro cake but being that it was so big there is a lot of it left. I had a small piece on my birthday and an even smaller piece last night. I am pretty sure I should not eat any more of it but throwing it away seems so mean to my boyfriends hard work and so wasteful as well!

Good day ladies.
I'm feeling better today. I just finished a 3.25 mile walk on the treadmill. Yesterday was a little rough and I payed dearly last night.

Rainbow-sometimes a day of love lounging is good!! I enjoy those on Sundays and we watch football all day!! LOVE IT.
Love2b-I fell down the stairs in the garage and got a mild concussion but not from bumping my head. Instead of going immediately to the dr I went to work. Went to the dr the following day because of the symptoms. I get better each day but had a minor set back yesterday. But I'm better today. I've been following the doctor's orders for the most part. My husband has been wonderful and making sure I don't do something that will cause a major setback.

Hey guys, quick check in here. The past 3days have been great eating wise, no real intense workouts but i have been walking the dog for at least 2miles everyday and DH & I painted the kitchen this morning (which still isn't completely done, will finish next week) i will check back in later. and have a great day!!

Hey everyone....been super busy with work and company. Fell off the wagon a bit when my brother came in from Philadelphia for his birthday celebration and then on Saturday at a pig roast that my church had in memory of my father. Anyhow, back on track and that's all that matters! No way I'll be in onederland by CC day, but that's ok. It was a bit unrealistic. I am still 10 pounds from that special place, but my fiance is super supportive and helpful. I am lucky in love (the second time at least!) Tonight I cooked a big bowl of fresh veggies - yummy and quite filling!! Nice that you can eat lots of fresh veggies! Helps with my compulsive behavior!
So great to read everyone's posts! You guys are SO SO inspiring!

Good evening e1. Just a quick short note tonight was a very busy day and i'm very tried. Was under calorie goal today only 863, fat 22,carbs 141, and protein 32. hopefully i will target this up tomorrow. Well hope everyone has a good day tomorrow. I did have a great workout today. Tomorrow is rest day for me but will be out and about running errans. I did great weighing in at TOPS tonight a lost of 3 lbs. 1 more lb to go for challenge. gn

Darn it My huge Post Left me do to dial upconnection wasn't all that great ! UGHHH~So a short post it will have to be~ so sorry.
Anyways We have 1 week to go (6 days tommorrow) So lets make it count !!!
Still weighing in at 143 to 144....Which is ok (My new low was 143.2~(LOL) I think I may just end up in those 130's eventually But I am trying to just tone & Maintain~U know I am nearly half the size I was when I started! AINT THAT FREAKY COOL? More or less 130 would be half of the before me~so I am 13 pounds over being half of the before me~AS I SAID BEFORE FREAKY COOL! Anyways..
Hope everyone stays safe(jiggle Be careful~your in my prayers)
& Have a super 6 more days & 30 minutes that whats left here in OHIO of the challenge...Gotta get my butt to bed more fillings at the dentist tomorrow....UGH At 9 a.m.~UGH~So I gotta go out int he cold which is known to set of my ashthma/whatever they call it! Hi all!

Well, my camping trip this past weekend was great, but by about Saturday afternoon, my cold came back with a vengance. When we got home Sunday afternoon DH and I agreed I would stay home and do the lanudry while he ran out to get groceries and dinner. When he asked me what he wanted me to have him pick up, I had a MAJOR moment of weakness.

I don't know if it was all the fresh air, being sick or being physically cold most of the weekend...but Subway wasn't going to cut it, people. I wanted something hot. Something ooey-gooey. Something cheesy. Before I knew it "Pizza!" blurted out of my mouth. DH looks at me and says "Are you sure." Without hesitation: "Yes."

So of course he brings home a large. And let me tell you I pigged OUT. This was not my normal "cheat meal" where I allow myself a couple of slices and call it quits. No Ma'am. I ate damn near half that pizza in one sitting.

Thankfully I was back on track calorie-wise yesterday (albiet on the high side), but the exercise just didn't happen. I was miserable all day due to my cold and when I got home my body pretty much told me "that's it, we are going to BED." Today I stayed home sick for the second time in two weeks! I thought I was over it last week, but I guess I need to start pumping more vitamin C into my body!

Anyway, I'm feeling a bit better today (will hopefully only go through a half a box of kleenix, lol) But I am staying away from that scale until Friday at LEAST. I'm sure I'm still on fat and sodium overload from that pizza Sunday night. Going to try to do a bit of yoga or something a little later just to stay in the habit of exercise. Really want to do more but need to get better first!

Hope everyone else is staying healthy this cold and flu season so far!

Hi all! Got back from Atlantic City yesterday. We had a good time, but the second day we were there, my aunt took us to the Rain Forest Cafe. I got a house salad, but then she ordered a Volcano for dessert(big chewy brownie & tons of vanilla ice cream). Last year she did the same thing and I resisted it, this time I had some. That taste of chocolate just made me want more chocolate. When I got back to the room, I ate 41 hershey kisses & 32 chocolate Quakes (3600 cal. total). Then on the way home the next day they wanted to go to the Old Country Buffet for lunch in N.J. I was getting my salad & got a call from my son saying someone broke into our house. I was so upset I said screw the salad and headed for the dessert table. I ate as much dessert as I could til we had to rush home to PA. When we got home 3 hrs. later, we saw that nothing was stolen, but my sons bedroom door was kicked in and destroyed. All my insides were trembling, I never got that before. Of course I ate anything that was chocolate or peanut butter that I could find, trying to make myself feel better( 4300 cal. total) for the day. I finally stopped eating at 8pm last night, had to get to bed at 11pm. At 4am I had such heart burn, night sweats & nausea. Got up to get Rolaids in the bathroom and that's all I can remember. I either fell asleep while I was standing or I passed out, I was so sick. My husband found me sleeping on the bathroom floor after he heard the loud bang. I didn't feel a thing when I went down, but this morning I have bruises and a sore spot on my forehead. Everytime, never fails, I eat alot of processed food, especially after 4pm., I get sick while I'm sleeping, but never had it this bad. My weight is going up & up from those two days. Today I ate my normal healthy foods, my stomach still burns (1150 cal). I need to learn my lesson! Sorry for the rant, but I had to get it off my chest. You guys are the only ones that I can turn to. Does anyone else get this?? If I eat all whole foods, I feel great all the time.

Hi everyone - good day today. Work went well and is challenging in a good way. Stayed OP today and actually am under calorie count, but just not hungry (odd indeed!)
Am hoping to be down a few pounds next time I weigh. Will have to be careful tomorrow night, as it's date night and my fiance will come over to dinner. Haven't decided what to fix, but he's very very supportive!

fruitlady I hope you're feeling better. I've never experienced anything like that due to food!

Sorry I didn't address everyone! I've got no excuse other than I'm posting this and should actually be writing up a shopping list - but I've had all day to do this, and I have done nothing. I haven't exercised today. Even had to force myself to take a shower - though I do feel better now being clean. No, I'm not unwell - I'm just feeling a bit depressed at the moment and it's taking it's toll on my exercise. Eating is fine, I'm managing to stick to a lower calorie count (planned to do this for a few days after my birthday) and I'm either going to push it back up a bit this evening or tomorrow. It's pretty low for today so I'm either going to indulge a bit and have homemade pizza or leave it lower for today and bump back up tomorrow when I know I'll be eating better foods. Not that my pizza would be unhealthy...but still.

Luckily, the weight loss from before my birthday has stuck, only had a minor 1 pound uppage for the past few days and it's back to where it was last Friday now, and looking like it's moving downward still! Maybe I can meet my Columbus Day weight goal after all? I've been meeting everything else so far!

I am NOT doing an official weigh in this week. It is my time of the month and i am up 1.8 pounds! Since I only lost 2 in September that just makes me mad. I know its water and probably my overeating this weekend too. (i felt awful and hubby felt awful so we ordered in both days! ugh!) I am definitely not making my 199 goal by next week. :P

Congrats to everyone's losses! Keep it up!
