yeah Susie, the Wii Fit drives me crazy. It tells me I'm obese and then puts the bar up over the obese level. I was hoping when I went from morbidly obese to severely obese my bar would be in the obese range on the Wii graph but nooooo, I'm still above the range. Someday soon I'm gonna show that Fit a thing or two!

WOW!!! Already on the second page and it's not even the end of the 1st day!!! I can see we're gonna be a chatty bunch again!! WELCOME to all the NEWBIES! Glad to see everyone else back from the July4th Challenge!! These are really great way to get to know everyone and share your ups & downs throughout our WL journeys!! GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!

My goals:
1) Lose 10lbs (or more) (today's WI: 173.0...2-3 is probably still water weight from vaca., but getting to 165 will be AMAZING!!!)
2) Drink atleast 3L of water/day
3) Exercise atleast 3x/week (not much I know, but it's SOMETHING!)
4) Stay within my calorie range every day!!!! (This has been really hard lately since coming back from the beach)

I think that's it!!! Like Jiggle said, longer challenges are harder for me to stay motivated, but WE GOT THIS! As I've said before, 170 was my initial goal when I started my WL journey back in 2008, so I think a part of me thinks I'm done...that I"ve reached goal...but I'm still "Overweight" and would like to be "Normal"...so I adjusted my goal to 150...but I'm thinking my brain is saying "It's OK. You're here. You can take a break!" BUT I KNOW I SHOULDN'T!!! I know I can't!!! My 10yr reunion is Aug. 14 so I gotta rock the first half of this challenge!!! Heck, maybe I could meet goal by then! HAHAHA we'll see

OK, sorry for the rambling...HAPPY BIRTHDAY AMERICA!!! Hope everyone has a fun & SAFE 4th of July!!! THANKS TO ALL THOSE WHO SERVE OR HAVE SERVED TO ALLOW US TO BE FREE!!!

My labor day goal is:

1.) Be down to 174

2.) Walk 30 minutes at least 4 times a week

3.) Get back into my size 14 Jeans.

I have failed misserably the last several months, and I have gone back up to my size 16 jeans

But, I am back on the wagon again.

I'm in again.

Goals:

*Down 25+ lbs (Current weight: 279)- Note, I missed my 4th of July cc goal by 5lbs. Not too bad...I had a hefty goal.
*Stay on plan with food and exercise while visiting family and friends for the next 6 1/2 weeks in the states.
*Feel good about myself because I deserve the good comments and questions and curiosities, because I worked hard to be where I am today.

I'm in. My initial goal is wonderland. I'm not that far off, so I think I will refine/add to my goal later.
I forgot to add in my last post on the 4th challenge thread that my laptop is still dead. The mother board needs to be replaced. So I am still sharing a computer and my ticker info is bookmarked on my laptop, so I can't change it until my hubby pulls my info off of my hard drive (laptop) and puts it onto the family computer.
I am excited about this challenge because hubby will be traveling again soon and be gone for most of it, so I am hoping to be able to suprise him when he gets home.

I'm new to this site but I would love to join this challenge if I may.

My goals are:
1. Exercise 3x a week. I haven't been exercising very regularly since my wedding and I need to get back into the swing of things.
2. Take a multivitamin and baby aspirin everyday.
3. Drink at least 64oz of water and try to cut back on non-water beverages.
4. Log all my food choices into Fitday (no matter what)
5. Find a calorie range at which I can lose weight at a rate of 1-2 pounds a week. I'm switching from a prepackaged lower carb plan to a healthy, rest of my life, real food eating plan.
6. Make healthy food choices. Try not to eat foods that are full of empty calories (at least not very often).
7. Learn my trigger foods and recognize the ones I need to avoid.
8. Find a few recipes that I can easily make and make them!
9. Try to get back on a real sleep schedule.
10. It would be nice to lose around 10 pounds during this time but this would be the least important of all the goals. I really just want to get the hang of living a healthier life in general.

I'm sure all of us will achieve our goals!

Hey ladies! Good to see a nice early start on this next challenge. I'm feeling motivated after the 4th.

My goals will be:

-To make it to my goal weight of 125- the big one!
- To continue to exercise every other day.
-Keep up the water consumption.
-Keep counting calories.

Right now I've got about two hours left of the overnight I'm doing and then will go home and get as many z's as I can before coming back at 2:30. Which probably won't be too many- I have trouble sleeping after an overnight.

I've been snacking a bit too- oops! Ah well, with no coffee here (gasp!) I've had to get energy some how!

Anyways, welcome all and have a great start!

I didn't quite make my 4th of July goal of 219, but I am 4 lbs lighter than when I started, so I will take it!

July is going to be a very challenging month for me...I have a 4 day camping/concert event coming up which involves LOTS of alcohol (even if I manage to avoid the cheese curd stand, lol.) At the end of the month, we're going to Vegas, and we all know how THAT goes! So honestly, If I don't GAIN this month, I will consider that a success.

I go back to work in mid-August, so I will be kicking things back into high gear by then...but in the meantime I want to enjoy my summer

So I am setting a modest goal of 216, which will put my BMI under 35 and out of the morbidly obese category. Hopefully my wii Fit bar thingy will finally start to move too!!

I will probably be kind of MIA here and there, but I will try to check in as much as I can.

Good luck to all!!

Ok... day 1 (yesterday) didn't go too well. I would have been fine... if I hadn't eaten the entire movie sized package of milk duds. >.< Oh well. It ended up being less than I thought (1900 calories vs my imagination of 2300 calories).

However, I WILL keep my calorie count within 1400-1500 for 30 days straight. Which means I need to take a trip to walmart to get me a digital scale that does grams.

So... aiming for that today. Oh... and I want less sodium rich foods!!! Even if that means I have to make it myself... urgh. I hate salt. >.<
