My hubby has suggested that I take some pictures. I don't think I have any of the true before at my starting weiight and I've really been avoiding doing it now. Having seen how much it means to me to be able to look at pics posted here by other chicks, I'm thinking I will go ahead and get him to take some pictures tomorrow. I don't have any "after" pics, and it will likely be a while before I get into another size, but I think I will take pics every 10 lbs. from now on, and cross my fingers that I will someday be able to encourage other chicks like y'all have encouraged me! Thank you so much for reminding me that changing my lifestyle is possible and doable, and not just a dream or fantasy.

kkazz---I TOTALLY AGREE!! I didn't see much of a difference til I did an updated pic at 175 and compared to my 195 collage...as I too, Angelskeep, don't have too many "BEFORE" pics...atleast, not of my full body! lol but start doing progress pics now and it'll really hlep keep you motivated!!!

Fruit---it really is SUPER easy from photobucket...just upload your pics there and then they have a "share" button you click and choose the link you want to copy (blog, forum, email, etc) and then paste it into your 3FC post...

This is an amazing thread, and all of you are so inspirational. I love the idea of comparing pictures, I have some old ones that I can't even look at, but would love to! as soon as I reach my goal. As someone having issues with figuring out my ideal weight-loss calorie level, would you guys also post how you found yours? I Know everyone is different, but I think it would help to hear how you finally arrived at the magical number

So I haven't been "officially" calorie throughout my entire weight loss. I did Nutrisystem for 4 months, then did a nutrisytem type of program for another 6 months to lose a total of 71 lbs before I got pregnant. During that time I know I was consuming between 1500-1800 cals, so even though I wasn't journaling or counting per se, I still think it would fall in the calorie counting category. I then gained 50 lbs back with pregnancy I lost all of that plus 10 more lbs through breastfeeding and going back to how I was eating prior to pregnancy.

Then in January of this year when I realized that to finish losing weight was going to take a little more commitment I started calorie counting and has lost another 25 lbs and I know I will have no trouble losing the last 10-25 lbs. This works people, it just does and it's not complicated, it's not a fad it's just how we should have been eating all along. So I hope these inspire someone else to keep going or get started!

Me the day before my wedding

Me about 2 weeks ago. I think I've lost another 3-5 lbs since this photo

Thank u everyone for posting pictures. It's very inspirational when u can see the results of others. I have been calorie counting since february and have lost 26 lbs by just watching what I put in my mouth. It indeed is the best way to keep your weight down besides exercising.

Holy COW everyone!!!! All you ladies are amazing! jkinboston, I think we established a few months ago that you and I have similar builds...you look great! And ncuneo, I always enjoy your thought provoking threads, it's great to put a face to the name

These aren't official before/afters, I'm waiting to get to my goal before I take those, but you can (hopefully) see my progress

Before...around 180-185.

And after! The first one is a few weeks ago, I think around 147. The others are last weekend at 143.

Yay! We all look so much healthier and HOTTER!!

Onederchic
: you are such an inspiration! You look beautiful and I love that haircut on you!

ncuneo: It IS great to put a face to the name. Your progress is remarkable! It really is.

mkendrick: We DO have a similar build. I love seeing your most recent pics in the low 140s because that's where I want to end up and I think you look absolutely FABULOUS! Those last few pounds really made a huge difference (not that you didn't look wonderful before)!

I hope I didn't leave anyone out! Thanks so much for the compliments everyone! It looks like everyone here is well on their way!
