Good Morning Ladies:)

Looks like we are going to have a sunny day ahead of us,except for the coldness in the air. Fell off the wagon last night,snacking on everything.Looked at my food journal and saw I wasn't enough. Going to plan better for today,by adding more protein,to my evening meal,so I can stay full for the rest of the night.

ZENOR-I had the same problem yesterday.I think that I didn't eat enough at my supper that I started to crave in the evening while watching TV.

MOMO-Looks like some of us had a bah day yesterday. I have to add more protein to my last meal,and than just have a pc of fruti in the evening would help.


PRINNY-Sorry your not feeling well.I'm not an expert but when your body hurting your shouldn't exercise,at least that what my doctor tells me.Once you feeling better start off easy like walking ,jogging and walking again before going overboard with the heavy exercising.

Things have been going good for me this week. I feel like I am finally getting back on track and this time I am staying there for sure. My Boston trip is creeping up on me and I want to be down at least 15 more pounds by then!!

beach bum- yeah walking isn't so great for me, I have bad knees. I will just take it easy and go sloooooooooooooooow on the exercise bike in a few days.

Good Morning Ladies:)

Going to be another great day up in the 50's again.

Nothing new except I might have to go to jury duty this Monday.I'm not looking forward to it at all..See I have to get to the court house by way of a rotary and I don't like them. I had a scary encounter on another one several years ago when I had the right away and a panel truck almost side swiped me, SCARED my half to death.Now I found out that it going to rain on Monday.Wish we had traffic light instead of this rotaries[round a bouts].

DGRAMIE-I'm the queen of SODIUM,as I crave more salty foods than sweet. I now buy low sodium foods,and I put the salt shaker away and now using Mrs.Dash herbed seasons instead.Extra water is a good idea with some lemon juice will take that extra weight off as lemon juice is a diuretic.


PRINNY-Oh I sorry I didn't know. I'm trying to think ,I saw a fitness web site that I used to go to when my DH had bad knees.I try to find my old web sites and get back to you.My DH uses the stationary bike to keep his knees from getting stiff.

Welcome to all the newbies! I was really hoping to see 159 today but I am telling you, me and 160-s became so close since we were together so long, and he didnt want to part today. 160 was the WI. I am confident I will get em evicted this weekend!! ahahah

Good morning ladies!! I'm ending my week on a great note. My total weight loss is at 13lbs!!!!!!! Yay!!! :carrot:

I'm staying in my calories and people I work with have started noticing the weight loss. And it's Friday so what could be better....other than if it were Saturday.

I am getting so frustrated with being sick. It just will not go away. I can't sleep well for coughing, and I am keeping my husband up. I can't work out and soon it'll be too hot for me to work out. I HATE spring and summer. I become uncomfortable when the temperature gets over 75 just sitting around. I have been stuck at 170.2 for days. Not happy.

Looks like another day in the 50's but it just not warm enough to wear lighter clothes.

Nothing new,I for got to get on the scale so I don't know the results until next week.

SHANNON-I know how you were looking forward to move down in the 150's. I was hoping for the same result by the end of this month,but its not going to happen,but there no reason why you shouldn't reach your goal.

SKINNY-BIG CONGRATS on your 13lb loss.That must be a great feeling when other people notice. That's a super Congrats right there.


PRINNY-Sorry I looked for the web site for exercises that could be done with bad knees . Must have thrown out the list. Did you see a doctor about your illness. It might be a sinus condition as I having that right now,with the the buds springing out from the bushes & trees.

Skinny - CONGRATS on 13lbs!! I personally love the number 13 ;)

Prinny - It seems like SO many people I know are sick right now! I hope you feel better soon! I also know about hating the heat. Im in Vegas, so 115 degree summers are all I know. Thank goodness for a/c & pools I tell ya!

beach bum - We are waiting for the new insurance cards to come in the mail, until then no dr. I am actually 90% I have a sinus infection and about 80% sure I have bronchitis too. Having these always ends up with me getting pinkeye and once that happens I WILL have to have my husband contact them and force the issue.

I am using saline nasal spray to help with the sinus infection, but nothing I do helps the coughing. I only got 5 hours of sleep last night because of it. Robitussin helps for like half an hour then I start coughing again. :(

No I am not logging the Robitussin. I think I can survive a few teaspoons of cough syrup as day.

Vegas: Congrats on the 30 lbs!

Well, all together I lost a little over 2 lbs this week. It would have been more but Friday and Saturday threw me off a bit since I was celebrating my b-day. :D DH brought me a cake which was very good and we went out to eat too. Plus, I had some Starbucks and soda, basically stuff I don't eat a regular basis any more. I'm pleased though. I finally got into the 170s. :carrot:

I started a new job this week which kinda threw me off some. I was surprised that I actually lost weight because my schedule was off which affected my eating. Still, I made sure not to overeat when I did eat and to eat healthy. I normally go grocery shopping in the day but with working I didn't have time to go until this weekend. So I made sure to get some stuff for lunch so I don't have to buy any, fruits for snacks, and I brought more oatmeal for breakfast as well as eggs.

Faith - Thanks for the congrats! It seems as if you & were basically at the same starting weight, current weight, and goal weight! Our heights are almost the same as well! SO YAY us!! Happy belated birthday to you & congrats on the new job!

As for me, a bit stressed with trying to find hubby a new work car so I can use the brand new minvan we just purchased. When I stress, I dont want to eat, but I force myself. Also, the monthly friend is now here, so I wont be weighing in until Friday or so!

Hello Hellooo! I'm back - Its been 2 weeks! I know I know you missed me didn't you!

Wow! so many newbies I hardly recognised the place!

I've tryed to stay on plan the last few weeks but we have been celebrating lots of birthdays and selling our house!!! stress free now. I did manage to lose a 1kg but I'm going to stay OP with NO slip ups til Easter.

Dgramie - so pleased the wedding went great. You'll be happy to know I'm sort of on track with wedding plans! no firm date yet as we have to work around venues and BF's Exams and school - hes in his final year as a electrician.

Feeling positive and big goal is to be in double figures for the wedding - which is still BIG but better than I am now ah!

I think i went thru a post wedding slump. I ate way to much last week and didnt really care. The scales show it to the note of 4lbs gain. Sat night i woke up sick with a stomach bug..a BAD one!! Yesterday calories were only 650. today i am back at it and feeling pretty good just weak!!
I got looking at my journal and see that i have slipped pretty bad. To many white carbs, not counting creamer in my coffee which is 120 per day. I am cutting my calories to 1300 for a few weeks and see what happens. I also got out my meausring spoons and cups again. I am also going to try and do more protien and less carbs..
miss loud- so glad you are working on the wedding stuff.

Prinny: I hope you feel better. I have a 7mo old with the flu and there is no treatment for children under 1yr old so she has to suffer through it. She also has asthma so you can imagine what my nights are like right now. Def need the coffee this morning :coffee: Hits the spot!!

Vegas: :congrat: That is wonderful!! 30lbs is a big milestone. You must be so proud of yourself. :cheer: for you!!

Faith: Way to go losing even on a bday week! That's impressive. The slightest thing always makes my weight go up. :banana:

hello, ladies :)
it's been a long, long time since my last post, and of course, my weight is back where it started, which is a lot :/

but this time I'm sure I'm going to make it bacause my boyfriend, who I live with, will do the journey with me :)
this means I have my gym buddy, and I don't have to cook two separate meals, yay :)

today is our first day at gym, so I hope it's going to be allright.the worst problem is that I didn't see anyone overweight last time we were there (on a lookout). So today I'm going to be the only fat chick there, but I hope people won't pay any attention to me :D

Skinny - Thanks for the congrats, I feel great that what Im doing is working, but still wont stop until I at LEAST reach my goal! How long did it take to get your darn ticker?? It annoys me that I cant have one yet. Congrats on your loss too! :hyper: You seem to be doing wonderfully!!

Ooo - You're lucky your boyfriend has decided to do this journey with you! I really believe it helps to have in-person support, especially from a family member or friend. Although my husband cooks low-fat meals and snacks for me, and my family & friends always give me verbal support, I still dont have an actual partner! Im sure you'll both do great!!

Willow - I regret not being at Bike week in Daytona!! LUCKYYYYYYYY!!!:D

Well, as for me, Im crampy & have a lower backache.. UGH! :no: I fully plan to stay OP today, and to workout despite feeling yucky. This week cant go fast enough, because I feel bloated and just YUCK!

Hi everyone. Bad, bad week last week every way you look at it. I gained 2.5 pounds. FIL is almost dead and DIL had a kidney stone and we thought she'd gone into labor but didn't. Emotions are wild and the eating just as wild. So far this week I've been on plan and I'm feeling better about everything.

The wedding activities have slowed down some because of the other things going on but today I want to finish the little favor bags that I've had on the go forever. I've got about 25 left to make and could have them done in a couple of hours. That would be one more item marked off my list.

Shannon, you're almost to the altar. You must be getting excited.

retire so sorry to hear about FIL and I hope DIL is okay. 2.5 pounds up isn't bad. You can lose that in no time!!!

I'm doing much better today. I had a POP day yesterday so that was good. I am down a pound today and that is good. I've also been very good today and it's my cardio day. Back on track now and doing great!

HI Ladies:)

Sorry I wasn't around yesterday.

Well I got to jury duty OK even if it was[6:45] early in the morning, with rain & glare of the incoming traffic.The rotary was as scary as I though it would be no traffic.and arrive at the courthouse at 7:45. The waiting around for a trial was the hardest & frustrating thing to do. After 2 hrs they moved 25 people me included to the district court and we waiting another 2 hrs when the judge came in to tell us the there were no trials here but the bailiff told us he wasn't sure that the superior court did need us. So we waited around to that until noon,and we let go.

This morning I got on the scale and I'm up 1.Will I ever lose this weight.Going down to 1300-1500 this month and see what happens.

So I skipped Monday entirely by sleeping. I am just glad to be able to sleep again. Still coughing and waking up but getting better at going back to sleep after. Basically I slept for 27 hours getting up 3 times to pee (sorry TMI) and drink a small bottle of water so I didn't get dehydrated. Swigged some Robitussin but didn't eat the whole time. I do think sleeping helped but I went to the store after I got up and it exhausted me and I am still have coughing fits. Husband had to drive me, I am not driving till the coughing is under control. Still waiting on insurance cards. Plans for this weekend are tentatively canceled, not sure about the ones we have for next week though. Not looking good.

I want to work out so bad but yesterday I brought a flat of water downstairs and was out of breath and it triggered a coughing fit. :(

I have been coughing so much I do feel like I have been doing an intense upper abs workout... and now it hurts to cough because of it.

Yeah it took me forever to catch up on the post from the last few days. I got back on track yesterday. I did not do well over the weekend. We found out our Foster Daughter (16 yrs old next month) might be going home. We have had for 2 years. She has really really gotten settled here. She finally calls me momma. She accidently called me that on her visit this last weekend and her family flipped on her. I broke down Friday and locked myself in the bathroom and cried. I didnt even want to be around people. Church was hard on Sunday because I just wanted to keep to myself but with us being the youth pastor's I have to smile and say hi to everyone and listen to whats going on with them. Normally I am great at that but I really tried to hid on Sunday. When I get stressed I get snappy. But I ate a bunch of junk didnt gain any weight but I didnt track anything because I already felt bad enough.
Now last night I was soo happy with myself because right before we ate dinner I typed in what we were having and found out how much to eat including my snack I got for later and I came in right at my calorie goal!!! Because I was right where I should be I didnt want to snack or eat anything else.....

Nicki hows the toddler bed doing? Is she sleeping in it?? Suprisingly mine is doing well she plays a little bit at nap time but she lays down...the time change really has my kids screwed up!! Now at night she lays right down and goes to sleep. She is the ONLY one of the 4 that has been great at bedtime!! I am thankful since she is my last!!! Seeming as my two year old sleeps in our bed snuggled up to me!!
Well I gotta get the boys school done and get some dishes done....With 7 people they stack up very very quickly!!

I can't tell if I am getting a little better or if I am just getting used to feel like a**. The saline nose spray seems to be REALLY helping the sinus infection but the coughing is still really bad. To add insult to injury it's my ToM and I am crampy. No weigh-ins till I get past that nonsense!

Cramps + coughing fit = :faint:

Hi Ladies:)

Didn't have a chance to post this morning,as we had to return a pc of luggage that we bought yesterday. The combination lock would work for us so we exchanged it for a lock & key instead.

Well today is my new week,and I started using the 1300-1500 calorie count.My other change is to use a tray from a frozen entree as my plate when I have my meals.The tray has 3 sections each about 1/2c or 1c hopefully when eating out of that tray will help me get used to portion control. WISH ME LUCK WITH PORTION CONTROL METHOD.

PRINNY-I have a feeling you need some kind of med that is stronger like an antibiotic. Hope you get your insurance card soon so you can get to a doctor and get this cough under control.


NICKIE-Glad that you're on top of the situation.Nothing like working so hard to get that weight off,when something in our system trickers to have a craving.


MOMO-How sad that the child really feels your love and caring and now you have to give her away back to her own family. Hope everything works out Sending [[[[positive vibes]]]] your way.

Sooooo, did SO good today....and then dinner came. LOL. I had my chicken hollandaise, corn on the cob and baked potatoe with ff sour cream/butter. Just like I had planned. Yeah me! But I was still hungry. I'm sitting across from my sister who has cajun chicken alfredo and nachos. Damn her!!!! So I had a bite of the pasta. And then I finished her nachos........I know I know! It wasn't a lot of nachos. So I'm definitely doing some 30DS tonight. And I'm gonna skip my evening snack.

Hello people. I'm now officially a grandmother. Our little baby boy was born this afternoon and is healthy and happy to be out in the great big world. We're so excited but we won't see him until Friday.

I have lost the weight I gained last week so I'm back down to my ticker weight again. Thank goodness for that. And today, while waiting for the phone to ring with news of the baby, I finished the last of the wedding favor bags so they're all tucked away until July.

Retire - Im sorry about your FIL, and I had a kidney infection while pregnant with my oldest, and in comparison, it made labor feel like nothing. Please tell your DIL if she can handle that, she'll be fine during childbirth (assuming this is her first baby!) I hope you can relax and stay OP :)

Nickie - At least you're down to workout! I also do 30ds & cant IMAGINE doing anything else on top of that. Jillian is a true a** kicker!! I know you'll make your St Pattys Day goal!

Willow - It really sounds SO fun! When I met my husband he had a Harley (and a lowrider), now the poor daddy has neither. I also grew up with my dad having a bike.

Beach - Thanks for the welcome! Everyone despises jury duty, and it seems like I get called every 2 years or so. I even got picked to be on one for a child molester 2 years ago. We gave him 30 years! Either way, Im glad you got out of it.

Prinny - Hope you're doing better!!

Ive been good. I skipped exercise for 2 days due to the hag's visit, but I weighed in yesterday and was still at 177lbs, which is great since I feel bloated. I plan to get back to the ole grind tomorrow!

EDITED TO ADD: Retire :dancer:CONGRATS :dancer:on being a Grandma!! Im sure he's GORGEOUS! Whats his name & stats?!

Just wanted you to know that I'm off again this morning,keeping my DH company when he goes to the Eye Doctor Surgeon to set up an appointment for is his cataract surgery.

Have to drive back on the rotary again,as DH's eyes won't be able to see,with all that guck in the eyes.

I did my 30DS when I got home. I was tired and wanted to just crash but i didn't! Yeah me! I'm OP today so far which is awesome cuz my goal today is to have a POP day! Here's to hoping...

It's cardio day which is definitely 30DS and ab routine. I want to hit some time on the elliptical but my daughter is super cranky today so I'm hoping that she can stay at the sitters. LOL

I got to the doctor today! Cards came yesterday and now I have meds and cough syrup and I should be right as rain in no time. I am SO glad. My old doctor accepts my new insurance. He is SO nice and actually listens.
