Welcome team members new & old!
How was everyone's first day?

I struggled with the mid afternoon snack attack. Gave in for a bag of pop chips (100 calories), so not too much damage.

Off to walk the dog before the rain kicks in.

Have a good evening.

I'm Leah. Hi. I'm a SAHM with a little boy who's about to turn one. I'm already just below my pre-pregnancy weight, but I've still got 20-30 pounds to go before I'm at a really good weight for my height. 'Course, I don't really know when that will be, since I've never been below about 140 as an adult...

Anyway! This is my first BL challenge, and I'm totally excited. My plan is to keep running like I have been (yay c25k!), but I'm going to be changing up the nutrition so I can hopefully break my 2-month plateau. I've been calorie counting for freaking YEARS, but I'm going to give paleo a go and see how things work. Looking good so far!

First day went fairly well. Hadn't been to the grocery store for about 3 weeks, so food was a little crazy. But I made a 2 week meal plan and stocked up, so now I should be good to go. Burned 1396 calories in my workout, so feeling pretty good about that!

Struggling with the monthly weight fluctuation - the scale had better be moving down after it, I have been working so hard with little progress lately. I had a month long plateau but then lost for two weeks in a row - so it is frustrating to see the scale moving in the wrong direction (whatever the reason) when I have been focusing both on my diet and exercise. Everyone have a great day, we can do this!!!

Happy May day everybody !,
woke up feeling hungry this morning. (good sign) Having my coffee now.Going into town today will probably eat lunch out so i have to plan ahead for that and keep my evening meal low calorie for tonight.
I have a back disability and i cant exercise like i would like to everyday. Some days are just to uncomfortable to do it ,other days i feel i could keep up with the best of them.. so on thoes days i try to do what i can and be happy with that.
Have a great day girls and stay on Plan!

Hey everyone,

I'm off to a great start this week. Got up early enough yesterday to do yoga before work, then did it again after work. They're only 22 minutes each, but I figure doing ANY exercise twice in a day is an accomplishment. Did quite well with food - gave in to my sweet tooth right before bed with 1 anise bear.

Today is my day off - I slept in and did a short kettlebell workout already. Now off to do errands. I'm trying a new gumbo recipe for dinner tonight. A friend bought me a cookbook in New Orleans a year ago, and I'm finally getting around to using it. I found a recipe that doesn't use roux, so if I can find a turkey or reduced fat andouille, it will be perfectly on plan. If not, I'll use less sausage.

Just got home from work. My stomach is rumbling. I'm trying not to eat myself out of house & home while prepping dinner. Ack!
Have a school council meeting later, this evening, so gotta run.
HOpe everyone has had a good Tuesday so far.

Are you remembering to stay hydrated & drink your water??

I've been pretty good with my water lately. 'Course, it helps that it's 90+ degrees down here and ridiculously dry, so it's easy to remember to drink.

Hello Red Team! My name is Bridgette and I'm 34 with 2 kids, a DD (9) and a DS (3). I've been on my weightloss journey for 5 years. I hit my lowest weight since high school last year (164) and ran my first 1/2 marathon. Since then I've managed to gain back 26lbs. My goal for this challenge is to refocus and rededicate myself to making better choices. I'm also going to start training for my second 1/2 marathon. Good Luck to everyone!

Good morning ladies!

A grey, rainy morning- so difficult to get motivated.

It sounds like we are struggling with the adjustment to our lifestyle change. But we know it's for our own good!
Be sure to make small, manageable changes and like lady sheets said- tomorrow is a new day - my favorite mantra. Don't beat yourself up over choices you made yesterday- focus on the here and now and do the best you can do.

Have a great day, be aware and make positive choices (and drink your water )

Hey Red Team!! I had a pretty good day yesterday stayed on plan and somehow managed to get in two workouts. So I'm just hoping the scale will show all the hard work I'm putting in to reach my goal.

Did pretty good yesterday...didn't quite get as many veggies as I planned, and I did sneak a pb cup, but I ended up inside my goal, so it is all good. Did Jillian circuits, plus my normal 30 minute walk at lunch. I mean to start C25K, but I had forgotten my little bro's birthday, and barely had time to get through the circuits and still make it on time.

I had a cupcake yesterday. It was my birthday and it was GOOD. Salted caramel.
