Whoops- a bit late getting this thread up!

We're in the final days before we close our sign up thread for the Spring into Summer Challenge. We have 40 people signed up so far.

Be sure to update your Starting Weights by April 22nd Midnight central time.

We use the starting weight to make up the teams.

I will try my best to send out PM's to everyone as well.

I'm very much looking forward to this challenge! I've never done one before but it seems like SUCH a great tool for weight loss success. Anyone have any general advice for going into the challenge?

Also, I need to edit my starting weight ... should I do that in my original post on the sign up thread or make a new reply to the sign up thread? Thanks! Happy Wednesday!

Howdy between challengers !

It's been a busy week so far... lots of activities and such. Went to the doctor about my knees last night and he wanted to take a scan to see how bad they are. They give me pain pretty much all the time now... looks like it's arthritis. I will be surprised if I don't have to have surgery on them.

Hi Everyone
I'm looking forward to getting started again, I kind of let myself go, Easte wasn't very good to me but I'm back on plan now. I need to get planting in my garden and the lettuce I lpanted on a flower planter is getting closer to harvest. Only a couple of weeks to fresh leaf lettuce.

Hi Dumplin, thanks for writing. The challenge will run 13 weeks.
Our first weigh-in is May 6th and the final weigh-in is on July 29th.

Howdy between challengers !

Happy Monday to everyone... I'm very excited to get this challenge started and look forward to seeing how our past challengers have done over this short break and getting introuced to new challengers.

This week should be a bit calmer as I've finished one of my classes. The next one starts on Saturday but no homework in the meantime. I should also hear back from the Doctor about my lousy knees sometime this week so hopefully we can find some resolution on that front as well.

Oh man, I'm desperate to get started. Killed me to edit my SW -- gained 2 lbs this month.

I actually gained more but have been diligent about tracking for the last 10 days and slid back under 160.

Lessons learned: Hospital food is the pits, and given the deadline-driven nature of my work, I need to join the gym around the corner from me instead of the one 25 mins away.
