I'm signing up for the summer challenge for sure, but I want to use my final weight at the end of this Challenge.

Woohoo - lost a lb this morning!! Hopefully I'm back on my way to 152.

Got a diet plan for today. Need to stick to it so my calories are in line. Also planning on a workout today, just don't know which one. I'm debating between 30 - 40 minutes of yoga or a 30 - 40 minute gym session. Hm, I guess it depends on how lazy I am (home - yoga, outside - gym).

Nothing much to report here except almost all of my bell pepper plants died in the heat while I was away. I'm so depressed. I'm saving the only one left and hoping it grows and gives me some peppers. Blah. I've been growing these guys since November so they really do feel like my children. Oh well. Life goes on.

Have a good Monday, ladies!

Hello gals. I had a great day today. Went for a long walk this morning, did some gardening this afternoon and ate well within my calories even with a small cupcake thrown in. I'm hoping to lose some of last week's indulgences of which I don't know the damage. I wouldn't get on the scales this week as I didn't think I could take the bad news. So I'll know by this Saturday if I did horribly last week if my weight is still up by then...

I'm hoping to spend more time outside in the yard during the next few weeks so that'll keep me out of the kitchen. But the funny thing is, while I was pruning the rose bush I could see the little bright green dandelions pushing up through the soil and instead of viewing them as a weed I was wondering if there were enough growing to make a green salad or to cook with dinner...sigh...everything revolves around food.

Where are you all? We don't have many of us left so we have to stick together as a tight little ball of weight loss energy. Have a great evening, gals.

Hello ladies,
Sorry I've been MIA, been down about Seth as well worrying about my other boys. Mom's have such a hard job!!! We're at the coast today and tomorrow (Mon and Tue) and I know one meal will be waaaay off plan at the buffet in Florence. But I'm looking forward to the summer challenge. I've been in a lot of pain too lately, both back and knee, will see the doctor this coming Thursday so maybe some relief in sight. Love you all and trying to hang in here.

Hello ladies! I hope you all are doing well today.

I am definitely planning on signing up for the summer challenge, I've marked it on my calendar...I'll sign up closer to the final date to get an accurate starting weight as I'm sure I'll be getting rid of a few more pounds by then.

Nothing much to report, just a normal Monday! I've got terrible allergies right now. My sinuses are totally stopped up and everything that can water is watering. Yuck!

Congratulations to Jessica88, mageorge, fukuokafan, ars for being our biggest losers and to everyone else on the blue team for hanging in for the whole challenge.

Sunnigummi: did you end up going to the gym or staying home to exercise yesterday? WTG on the 1lb down. Hope your pepper plant comes back to life again.

Mercy03 - I have no idea what that is like I really don't like the taste of beer, never have. I drink one on occassion if it's really cold but don't like the after taste. Have you switched to lite beer....would that help at all. Besides we all have one thing (at least one) that we will not be able to give up... so do a couple extra crunches for the belly and call it even...lol

retiredone - It's nice to be on point calorie wise and still get a cupcake in too. I love cupcakes and have wanted to make some or a cake to practice my decorating skills but am scared to make the icing to practice with. I can get rid of the cake at work but I love the icing there might not be any left to put on the cake. I have to wait til I see a lower number on the scale to make me say nope....not worth it I haven't tried dandelion salad but I have heard it is very good. Enjoy your time outside. Still snowing here

Doragone - I'm sorry you are still feeling so sad just keep on going everyday and things will get better. I hope you can find joy at the coast I love to listen to the waves it just seem to make everything else melt away for me. I find great peace in that sound. I hope it brings you some of that same peace. I hope your back and knees feel better soon that will help everything else as well

ars - I hope your allergies clear up soon nothing worse than not being able to breath properly or see for that matter. Make sure you sign up for the next challange you can always just go in and adjust you weight just before it closes so you get a more accurate weight. That's what I did otherwise I may forget to sign up.

Catsgetnhealthy - I love doing the WATO dvds I haven't done the 3 mile slim and sleek is it a good one? Does it show you the miles all the time or just once in a while like some of her others. I think I would be able to push harder on them knowing how far into the workout I was at all times.

babygrant - feel better soon is the sun shining there that could help make you feel better. I have to look up online what geocaching is I don't have a clue but I am glad that you are enjoying it and it is something you can do as a family.

CapeBretonChick - I hope you can get some staff there is nothing I hate more than working overtime in the summer because of staff issues. I have had to do this the last 2 summers and I don't want to do it this year as well. Summer is a time to be outside and enjoying yourself. Here is to us both being able to do just that.

Well I woke up in a bit of a funk so just laid in bed for a bit. I have to work late today. When I got up I thought well maybe I'll step on the scale....1lb down. Let's just hope it holds til the weekend. I am having coffee and then off to the basement for a workout. Have a great day everyone. Sorry if I missed anyone.

LOL Bigmid! I drink when I am stressed, as a rule I don't drink at home unless I have company.Drinking more than usual lately.I have the worst problem with carbs, so any uptake results in a large weight gain.

I am back on track though, went to fat club last night, life is returning to normal, so I expect to have a good weight loss next week.

As for the extra crunches for the beer, I'll take you up on that lol!

Evening ladies~
I tell ya I don't know why work sends me a box count when it doesn't even come close. Had 10 boxes at the first store and 20 at the second. My legs are killing me from standing/walking on the cement floor. Normally it doesn't bug me, but today it just did. But I did see the new Leslie Sansone bootcamp workout, so I'm going to go pick that up tomorrow. can we say dvd junkie. This morning I did walk off even more weight, it came with a weighted belt, and you can feel it!! It's a 2mile walk, well it's 2- 2mile walks, I did the fast 2 miles this morning.

Bigmid~ Yes the slim and sleek has the walk clock, a lot of her newer dvd's do now. I like it as I take my heartrate with it. Once the weather starts to warm up I'm going to start walking outside, probably in the evenings. Will alternate evening walks with my belly dancing dvd. I have a problem with my right knee, so doing Leslie's dvds, walking outside, belly dancing, and riding my exercise bike is the way for me to go. I also like the biggest loser dvds for more strenght training, as I can modify those, can't do jumping jacks. Did that on Jillian's shred dvd, my knee popped, and the pain was just omg awful. So I tend to stick with Bob's workouts. Love the yoga dvd!!!

Mercy~ doesn't MGD have a 64 calorie beer? I know I seen a commercial for that beer, just not sure if it's MGD or Bud. I'm a wine drinker. Only one type of wine, Lindeman's Shiraz, it's Australian. That's why I stalled last week, drank a huge bottle through out the week.

Well the boys are home from wrestling practice, so I'll talk with ya'll tomorrow. Have a wonderful evening!!!!

I feel better when I eat lower carb....but I really don't like meat and I try to restrict the dairy I consume because I get an upset stomach.
