Just checking in for the week. Swine flu is officially gone, but I still have that bad cough and low appetite with it. I hope I can have a good couple of weeks here before ringing in the New Year.
For former red team members: The boyfriend pulled through in a big way and made reservations for us to spend Christmas in Pusan. It means we will get to get off the island and have our first real alone time away from work and everything. I'm so excited. So, work for 3 days next week, then come in on Christmas Eve for a Kindergarden Christmas party and then its Christmas and my weekend getaway!! By the way, those size 24 jeans that I was shocked to fit into...yeah, they are now getting lose on me big time!!! Woohoo!
Hope you all are having a good week. I'm room mommy for Emily's Pre K class so her party is today so I hafta hurry to go get ready. I sleep on foam rollers because my kids are always touching my hot ones so gotta take out the pinkys in a bit! LOL!

Retired.... I have a love/hate relationship with stores at Christmas! I love it really, I just usually am rushed to get back and so I don't like the lines. I love all the hustle and bustle tho!!

Just wanted to do a quick check in. I have been somewhat good and somewhat bad, but as long as I don't gain over the holidays then I am happy with that. I should be more strict but holidays are for enjoying and I don't want to feel deprived or else I will then go crazy on treats. Now I am just allowing myself 1 or 2 cookies here and there so all okay.

As for the poll, I personally prefer sunday weigh-in's because they keep me accountable on saturday nights!!
My goal is to get into the 170's by Christmas... and then possibly down to 177 by Jan 5th?? We shall see....
OOOh Jess, I wish I was almost to the 170s! LOL. Hopefully soon tho! I hope to hit 177 by March this year. Gonna hafta move more I know because when you have tons to lose it comes off easier. Once I'm under 200 it is harder!

I love sending those out because alot of my extended family doesn't live near us and sometimes that's the only time they even get to see my kids.

Hey chickies!! Quick pop in for today. It's cold and watery here today. It snowed for a few minutes at my parent's house, but just rain here at the beach.
I think I've decided to try a different eating approach for a while. Counting calories was good for me, but I think I'm going to add in lower carbs to the mix. I need a shock to the system to get it going again. I also plan on getting in at least a 30DS workout everyday for the next 6 days. Kids are at their mother's house for xmas break, so it's just DH and I for 6 days. Then back to the family circus

It has been a long day and my internet was down for the most part of it... but I hope everyone has had a great day and will have a great weekend... housecleaning day tomorrow and then shopping day Sunday.. then work for 3 days then off for 5 over Christmas... I am so looking forward to it.. lol Now if the weather would cooperate... LOL

Busy, busy day. I finally got the tree up yesterday and today I decorated it somewhat. I still have a few more balls and ribbon it put on but I'll do that tomorrow. I had to clean up the living and dining rooms so they'd look like it was Christmas. I have a plastic silver table cloth that I put on the table and topped it off with a lace Christmas table cloth. It looks really nice and shimmery. Put out the candle holders and center piece, the Christmas napkins and coasters.
had to get ready to sing in a Christmas program. It was in another town about an hours drive away. When we were driving home there was what we thought was a dead coyote in the middle of the road. Found out later that it was still alive and wildlife was coming to put the poor creature out of his misery.
Had a good couple of days with the food. I'm hungry now but it's nearly midnight so I'll wait for breakfast. I'd be tossing and turning all night if I ate this late. Weigh in for me tomorrow and I'm anxious to see if I've lost this week with my few indiscretions of the week.
We got a huge snow storm last night...but I burned lots of calories having snowball fights with the kids I hope everyone has a great, productive, on plan weekend.
Hey everyone.. I hope everyone is having a great weekend.. I did some major house cleaning today and heading into the city for shopping tomorrow. I did some shoveling this evening so I think that did some major calorie burning lol... I do not want to speak too soon but this morning the scale was down 2.4 pounds.. hopefully it keeps going in the right direction...

Hello All. I weighed in this morning and stayed the same as last week. I might weigh in again tomorrow morning but that may not be such a good idea.
We had snow today and tonight it's turned to rain. DH and I took a short walk to MIL's house (before the rain started) and had a look at the Christmas lights. I might just call that my exercise for today and have a rest from the bike.

Had a big Christmas meal today for lunch with some of DH's family. I ate too much, but was too full to eat supper, so it may not be too bad overall for calories today. It was a pretty nice family day too which was great. No snowball fights, though!

Well.. it is official.. if you all can see the Poll Results at the top of the age here... the final count is 14 in favor of a change, 6 against. Majority Rules.. for the Weight-ing on Spring Challenge starting on January 5th will actually begin on the 3rd now and the first weigh in of the challenge will be the 10th of January which is a Sunday before 9pm(EST). Remember to get all of your weights in by the 29th of December!!!!!!

Just a wave before I go to bed. Spent most of the day out of town visiting with youngest DS and DIL. This morning before we left I did an hour's jog which is roughly 5k. I run inside the house around the living room, dining room and kitchen. I set the stove timer and just start jogging. Last time I did that was March. I'm going to start doing that again several times a week.
