Thanks for the imput ladies....I appreciate other mom's points of view. I know that I shouldn't stress about this kind of stuff....I also have a 14 yr old daughter who has gone thru this kind of stuff.....so I figure by the time my youngest hits the teen years, I will either be exhausted, or an expert!!!
Thanks again...I guess we are off to the mall to meet Mackenzie!
Yeah, I do wonder if I blew some fuses also, Amy. Will check that once I get going for the day. Lazy day here!
Anna - I don't know what happened with your computer, but I was "shopping" a bit this am for computers and saw this ALL over the website and thought it was interesting.

RECOVERY MEDIA
Most computer systems no longer include "Recovery Media" (Disks or CDs used to restore your computer system to it's factory shipped state). Many do not even include Operating System disks.
This is not specific to systems purchased from any one company, but now standard practice throughout the entire industry.
However, many manufacturers include software on the hard drive that creates recovery media for you. This allows burning your own set of recovery CDs or DVDs - all you need is the blank media.
Inclusion of such a recovery utility varies by manufacturer and model; not all manufactures and models include such a utility. For those that include such a utility we recommend you create your own set of recovery media after completing the Windows installation. In other words, right after you start using your PC!
If you fail to do this and encounter a difficulty in the future you may not be able to properly restore your computer.
Some manufacturers may have physical recovery media available separately for purchase; consult your owner’s manual support information section for additional information. Systems that do not come with a CD/DVD burner may still include Recovery Disks - please check the manufacturer's specs.
Nori, yes I had some problems this morning, but I am wireless laptop and I have the computer room that has the router closed (trying to make the best of my AC 1 unit). So that sometimes happens when the door is shut, however my BF was having problems on our media center computer (living room TV- and that is hardwired) so, he was convinced it was a comcast thing (since he tried some resetting and drama already with the modem and router).
He called Comcast this morning to ask about why it was slow, and they said they were having problems on their end???
Either way, it seems to be working well now, so far...
Going to balance out our bills now (this is the BF's clue to go to his brothers a few blocks away, LOL!)
Aerobics this morning was great, the teacher does not know her 8 counts though, she uses the 8 counts, she is on the right up - down beat, but SHE DOESN'T know where the first count is- she doesn't hear the 1 in the 8 count... She seriously doesn't know that there is a First count... I don't know if you will understand this, maybe Rhonda or other classgoers/teachers, but this is seriously horrible. Also, her que is late, she should be 1-2-3-4-5-6-knees-up
and she's all, 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-knees up, and so she is still queing on the 1st beat of the next SET of 8 - OMG! So on #1 you are already supposed to know where to go and she is still queing, OMG - I can't wait to get into better shape and start teaching again one day. =)
I didn't wake up until about noon. I've been sitting around today reading my Vampire porn. Oh wow....this is good stuff! I need to get up off my butt and run to the store for something for ladies's night. I'm also thinking of dropping into the hair place and getting my bangs trimmed so I can see again!
I just want to chime in on the parenting front. My parents were ultra strict with me....Dad was career military and the head deacon at our very fundamental Southern Baptist Church. After I graduated high school, I joined the Air Force and made up for lost time. When not on duty, my life was one big party. However, it only lasted or 3 or 4 years before it all got really old and I decided to grow up. Even in the midst of my partying, I still stayed smart about most things and protected myself from men who would use and abuse me. I guess most of what my parents taught me did stick with me. I now have a 12 year old who, if I may say so, is a lovely young lady who doesn't take after Mom and has a very developed body. She does not look 12. Do I trust her? No way! At 12, she thinks she knows everything and doesn't have the reasoning skills of an adult. Even more importantly, I don't trust the guys. Trust me, at that age, guys typically have one thing on their minds. Did you know that oral sex is rampant in our schools....beginning in 6th grade!!! For some reason, the girls think its okay as it's not "real" sex. You wouldn't believe what she comes home and tells me. These kids know a lot. I didn't know some of this stuff until I was married~ I watch her like a hawk because I love her and I will do everything possibe to protect her until she is old enough to make wise decisions.....probably when she's 30.

Vixjean - That sounds so frustrating! I wonder how she ended up teaching the class if she doesn't know what she's doing.
Nori - I haven't noticed any problems myself.
Dea - Your situation has me cringing. My oldest will be 8 soon and I can't even yet picture getting into the whole boy/girl thing! My DH jokes that DD will be a nun so that she'll stay away from guys. I say that she can be a nun until she's in her 30's and then I need some grandbabies.
So I did my 10K run this morning and it rocked. At about 25 minutes I had this overwhelming sense of "What the **** am I doing out here? I'm miserable!" but as usual as soon as I hit the 30 minute mark I felt fantastic. I love long runs because they give me a chance to get into that zone of warmed up but not tired out yet. I ended up completing my run in 1:15, which is a full 10 minutes off my time from last week plus I didn't feel like I was going to die this time. It's amazing how much of a difference taking care of yourself makes!
It is a hot mess here today. I am drained emotionally. Participated in leading a 4 hour training today and I hate training so I am happy that is over. It is the first in a series of many. I work in recreation so of course this is our busiest season. My Special Olympics program is in Richmond,VA for the state games and they stopped the games because it is too hot. But one of my participant may be going to the hospital. And...yes there is more. There is something medically going on with BF and he is being selective with information. He is already talking about not taking some of the meds prescribed. It is so upsetting to me I don't even know where to begin. That's why I am here so I won't pull a chair up to the fridge. I actually haven't eaten much today because I haven't been hungry but I will keep an eye on that.
So Rhonda & Zinke we are starting our running program tomorrow, right? I think I might want to try that other program Rhonda posted before. Rhonda can you post the link again or maybe the key words that I can google to get me there? I've signed up for EZ Money's newest 5K. I'm thinking I might need to check back because I am sure that post might be lost. It is for July 4th. You can complete the 5k July 2-6.
He called Comcast this morning to ask about why it was slow, and they said they were having problems on their end???
I have Comcast also. It is better right now. Got on quick...
Rhonda - I haven't slept in until noon for years! It's be so nice to be able to do that occasionally. I was so tired this morning and then at 6am our time DH's brother calls from Alabama...
We have a zumba class at our Y and it looks like SO much fun. I have restictions due to my arthritis and hip replacements so I can not do that class, BUT if I was physically able to then I would be doing it for sure!! I go to the aqua fit class if I want to do some sort of class.
I went for a walk this afternoon, and was out just over an hour. I am totally sunburned and I messed up my foot. again. UGH, its frustrating I can not put any weight on it so I will be off of it for another day or so. I DID get my minutes in for the challege this week though so I am happy about that.
Anyway, off to get supper. Im making a creamy chicken breast, brown rice, beans, zuchini, and corn.
I love when you push past that awful feeling and suddenly feel GREAT!
I used to own a book that talked about running as a form of meditation and it made a lot of sense to me. The author talked about the change in brain waves that takes place after the 30 minute mark. Very cool stuff. If only I hadn't lent it out to my boyfriend at the time cause I haven't seen it since!
So it looks like I may have run closer to 10.5K by mistake. Woohoo for accidental extras (while still making good time!).
Oh I am a raging ball of hormones today. I'm being a total grump with the kids and the little chocolate wafer cookie I just ate tasted like heaven on earth. Good thing DH is gone to soccer all afternoon!
