Are you thinking "15 pounds by July 4th?" I think that's a marvelous and attainable goal.

Congratulations, everyone! Linsy, I'm so proud of you...you've consistently met your goals and worked the plan like a champ! YAY for you!

Not so much for me. I fell into that depression/isolation thing big time after struggling with it through January and February. Cold and dreary combined with almost three months of school without a break made me crazy. I hate a late Easter break.

I was too tired and unhappy to exercise, shop, prep and cook...I was on and off Atkins, didn't do anything too awful, but certainly wasn't doing what I know is right for feeling good and losing weight.

So I weighed in yesterday at 203. I've gained a few pounds and grateful it wasn't more. I've been walking every day for about three weeks; I'm sure that's helped keep the gain low.

I'm ready to start again. Mad at myself because I've wasted four months, but at least my gain isn't huge. It's going to be okay...school will be out in six weeks, and I can focus on getting some more fatness gone. I'm back on the board. I've missed you all, and I need your support.

Hey Sandy! Nice to see from you again, I was getting worried. Thank you for the compliments, and I'm proud of you too! Getting back on the wagon is even harder than staying on so once you get back in the groove of doing Atkins you'll do great again.

Hi all, I bought the new Atkins book yesterday and am reading it. I realize I probably need to stay on a closer-to-the-original version of Atkins, but I've been curious about the newest edition. I've cleaned out my refrigerator and the cabinets, so I'm good to go again. I really had very little that isn't on the allowed list - a lavash or two and some baby wines. I kept the wine!

So, I'm on plan again. I've fiddled around long enough; time to do it some more. I appreciate your support, Atkins buddies!
