Just realized I haven't checked in this week!

SW: 194
CW: 192
GW: 179

Pounds to go: 13

2 lbs is not bad! Yay! I need to come up with a reward for meeting the Easter challenge. My reward for reaching 189 (which will be 10 lbs down on atkins) is getting my hair cut! 2.1 more pounds! yay!

Congrats to all!!!!

I guess the good thing about being off plan for a few months is that I can expect fast weight loss during the first week or so. I started Tuesday and got 4lbs gone.

Start weight: 247lbs
Current: 243lbs
Goal: 232lbs
To go: 11lbs

Great job everyone!

No change this week... Well actually last weekend I fell of the wagon and when I regained conciousness I was up 4 pounds!! But I worked my butt off to get back to 150 so at least I can have a fresh start this week!

I didn't weigh this weekend. Friday was a crazy day - no time to get to the wrestlers' scales and feeling sort of fat-ish. I'll be at school on Tuesday, so I'll weigh in then. I'm having trouble staying on plan and drinking that water. I have to get OVER IT! Off to a good start today, though, and it's a great day to walk my fattypants Puddin'.

Great work, everyone! Way to Go!

Count me in!! I am new to the Atkins Diet, and new to this forum. I am in need of encouragement.....I have little will power when it comes to carbs. I started this diet 7 days ago, and by day 4 I had lost a total of 9lbs, on day 6 i couldn't control the urge, and had a total pig out! Lost it for 2 days, fell right back into the same bad eating habits. I put back on 5lbs in that 2 day period! I was floored. That can't happen again if I am to have this adventure work for me. I realize that this is a Lifestyle Change....and that's how it's gotta be. So I am DEFINETLY IN!! I LOVE A CHALLENGE!!

Default Weigh-in...

It's a good Monday...I'm out of school for a dr.'s appointment; he was really pleased with my weight loss this fall and winter and encouraged me to stay on Atkins Induction as long as I need to.

He also suggests, for disease prevention, I give up beef and pork and eat game or free-range chicken. I don't think I'll be doing that just yet...I can cut the number of times I eat beef or pork to three times per week. I don't think I can afford free-range chicken; I'm not even sure where to buy it in my area. He's advocating lots of flounder, shrimp, fish in general. Maybe since I found the sugar-free pickle relish, I can eat tuna way more often and eggs as my protein. And he's yakking about organic/yard-bird eggs too.

I only lost 1/2 pound this week, but, hey, I didn't gain. It was definitely the walk on the wild side I took Thursday and Friday of last week. I'm going for the totally on plan week this week. Wish me luck and conscious eating.
