It has been a wild weekend and beginning week. My 16 month old son was hospitalized Saturday night for a flu bug and then developing RSV on top of that. Needless to say, I wasn't exactly watching what I ate or getting much sleep. We were sent home Sunday exhausted and though it is Tuesday i am still dragging! However, I have jumped back onto the train today and am hoping to be able and get a workout in as well!
I've been struggling with staying away from carbs over the past few months and gained 21lbs back from the 44lbs I lost...I'd like to enter this challenge as well.
Hi Chickies! I have been over the cliff and hanging on by my fingernails for a few weeks....I need my chickies to help me back up!! Coming here this morning and seeing this challenge just boosted me!
I need this. It will help me get back up on solid ground! Last time I weighed was Monday morning I think:
2 pounds down - and that was my evening weight! What possessed me to jump on the scale tonight? I NEVER step on the scale in the evening. It was kind of like winning the lottery without all the messiness of having to pack up the personal stuff in my office in the morning!

I am really looking forward to seeing what the magic weighing machine says in the morning....
I finally got my whoosh! I was seeing 224, 225, 224, 223, 224, 225 on the scale for like a week and a half and I was SO over it! This morning I stepped on the scale expecting to see 224 or 225, and to my surprise I was greeted with 221!
Excellent work Linsy, Firkind, and everyone! Linsy, I'm hoping that whoosh is contagious. I wasn't planning on weighing until Saturday, but I'll have to do it tomorrow due to a weird travel schedule.
I'm not sure what to expect. I've kept a much closer eye on calories this past week, so we'll see.
Fingers crossed.
Morning weight the last two mornings has reflected a 2 lb loss over the evening weigh-in miracle. So I'm figuring it's not a fluke and claiming it! She vaults....tumbles....but sticks the landing!
