Well, I woke up with a cold this morning. But at least I have a surgery date!! The doctor says that both of my hands are "moderately severe" and that I probably will NOT get everything back, but any improvement is a change in the right direction!! Surgery for the right hand is going to be Nov 16th, and the left hand will be done 3 months (roughly) after that. I am SO relieved to have the date, even if I have to wait a bit. Not knowing was driving me crazy.

But I'm glad you got your first surgery date set! Now you have something to... to... look forward to? It'll be good to get it over with.

Jury duty is over. Never even made it to the court room. I was dismissed around 1pm. I don't have to serve again for 8 years. I am happy I was dismissed this time. However, I would like to actually be on a jury at least once. Maybe next time.

Squeak - I will probably never get picked for Jury duty - I would probably be dismissed because I work in the legal field.

I am thrilled to have a surgery date. Not knowing when it was going to be was driving me batty.

Squeak-I feel the same way! I want to be on a jury sooner or later, but later might be better. (Every time I get called it is a ROTTEN time!!)

I was called for jury duty twice, but both times I was breastfeeding, and was able to "get out of it". I wouldn't mind doing it at all, though.
