Thanks... I am still thinking about chickening out. I just don't like the idea of someone working on my eyeballs. With my luck, we'd have a rare earthquake in Arizona as he was chopping and I'd wind up blind. (see what I mean...crazy things that go through ones head at times...).

Hi All, My sister is giving me her old treadmill! woo-hoo. My dh didn't want me to get it because our house is so small, but I finally convinced him that it would really help me to be able to walk every day without having to go outside all the time, due to weather and in the Spring when my asthma flair-ups. I also bought a new video by kathy Smith
called "Lift Weights and Lose Weight". It was only $7 at Wal-mart.I'm starting to have more energy but I still feel cranky. I think it is because I remarried in May and before that was use to being alone and doing what ever I wanted, when ever I wanted. Now my husband wants to spend lots of time with me and I am not used to all the togetherness.I really need my space ,but don't know how to tell him without sounding like a *B or making him think that I don't want to be with him. Grrr Why do relationship have to be so complicated?
Irish, I feel for you, hon. I NEED space, but I rarely get it. We've been married 15 years, and I LOVE my family, but I want my own apartment.
Hang in there... you'll find some ways to sneak in some "alone time".
I am watching the Oscars, and I know a number of you liked LOTR, but I don't think it should be sweeping everything. I saw a number of movies this year that I thought were better, including Big Fish & Mystic River.
Squeak, wasn't that BORING!? All those freakin' awards for LOTR. BORING!!!
Okay, who had the best dress?
Oprah should NOT have had that big bow on the back of her dress!

I'm with you, Ellis. I thought they were boring too. I barely made it through the 1st movie without falling asleep. Never watched #2 or #3. Guess my mind isn't into that sorta movie type.
I have been MIA since Friday pm -very busy weekend. I am just catching up on all the posts.
I worked all day at a Bellydance Bazaar with my two friends - had a great time. I bought a cool t-shirt and a middle eastern DRUM!!!!
I have been thinking about buying a drum for about six months now - I can't beleive I did it!!!! I am sooooo excited - can't wait to start practicing and taking some lessons
Also my dance teacher is doing a segment on bellydancing on the health and fitness part of the local news and she asked a few of her students if they would like to participate - I am going to be on T.V.!!! I am 1/2 excited, 1/2 scared out of my wits!!!!
I LOVE Billy Crystal, Squeak.
Yeah, Uma's dress was weird. She's beautiful.
What was with those glasses Liv kept putting on?
Catherine always looks like a babe. She could wear a flour sack.
Charlize Theron's dress was very sparkly. I also loved Catherine Z-J's crimson red dress.
I loved LOTR. But I thought the first one was the best, not this one.
mauv - Awesome on your drum chica! I have a friend who is WAY into drumming. She's in a samba group that totally rocks.
Irish tart - Alone time is awesome. Luckily, I have a boyfriend that came with "alone time" training. However, it might help to say something along the lines of, "I've had a really rough day and I'm not fit to be around right now. I just need some time to myself to get my head in order." Of course, you can always resort to asking him to come do something he hates and thereby excusing him from the situation
