Lidian, I'm sorry that your DD is having a rough time at school. I hope things settle down for her soon.

Jennifer, I think you'll really like SBD. I've been doing it for 8 weeks now, and I love it. I feel so much better, and I've lost 17 pounds so far. There is an updated Phase 1 food list posted on the SBD FAQ.

Happy Birthday Lois!!! Hope it was wonderful!

Ellis, sorry about your scale moving in the wrong direction. But don't let it throw you off, it's just a little bump in your path....keep on moving forward!! I know you can do it, don't give up!!

Sflake, I hope your family is feeling better, and that you don't get that nasty flu. I HATE having the flu. I'd rather have a PAP smear than.....oops, that was another thread! Glad your leg is feeling better. Stay safe from Isabel.

Ruth, we'll miss you, but certainly understand you needing to take some time away to tend to life. Hugs to you and Harry.

Hi Den, Mauvais, Wildfire (14 hour work day! Yuck!), Squeaker, and anyone else that I may have missed.

Good morning Chicks!

I am determined to have a good day today. Having a bit of a moral dilemma, but I will get it worked out. Went to bed very early last night, and it felt wonderful. Only woke up for about 15 minutes.

We have a birthday at work today, which means trying to figure out how old everyone is. I am 11. And get to turn 11 again this December. No one is older then 28.

Now I have to go do work.

Have a good morning.

Squeak-How do you figure the ages? That sounds fun!! I wonder how old I'd be!! YUP!! (snicker) dirty diaper? I'm DONE!!! They are coming TOMORROW and I am very excited!!! Can't believe he will be 1 already in October!!! (since he has only been in the family 6 months it seems extra strange!!!)

2Dog-HI!!!!

Jennifer-Glad to hear your parents have evacuated, although I HOPE it turns out to have been unnecessary. Still hoping Isabel turns around and goes out to sea.

Wildfire-HI!! Hope things calm down!!

Ruth-Do what you have to do sweetie. We understand. We are all sending lots of brain healing vibes out for harry.

Mauvais-Has work gotten better for you since you had that talk with your boss or is he back to his old tricks?

Ellis-WHERE ARE YOU?!? Antonia has forgotten how to make mint juleps and the servants have the day off!!!!

Den, darling, it's Jennifer's aunt and uncle, not her PARENTS! Pull yourself together. You shouldn't post before having at LEAST 6 coffees.

So, how the **** is everyone? Just got back from breakfast out with my skinniest girlfriend. She's been looking a little ragged lately (got married, had a baby... you know...), and I was dismayed to see that she'd pulled herself together and looked terribly fashionable and chic this morning. damn!

Den! You're going to be an aunt tomorrow!! Yippeeee! Finally! I wonder if my sister would like to adopt. She'd have to get something at least 12 years old for it to be safe.

Squeak, how's the party? What a hoot! Bad dilemma? Anything we can do to help? Like offering advice? We're full of it, you know.

I was just feeling very proud of myself... took my third vitamin in three days. But now it's stuck in my chest somewhere (horse pill), and I'm in agony. I think I'm having a heart attack.

Twodog, thanks for the encouragement, hon. I'm doing MUCH better today. Aside from the lodged vitamin.

Jennifer, glad to hear that your aunt and uncle have evacuated. I can't believe some people who say they'll sit it out. People with kids!!

Wildfire, are you sleeping? 14 hours is inhumane.

Mauvais, where the heck are you? Some gaming convention? Or have you got your boss tied up under the photo-copier.

Sflake, how are the sickies?

Ruthie, I know you're there but you're not...

love to all...

please write immediately if you know how to dislodge a large, hard vitamin from where ever the **** it's stuck.

The sickies are a PITA and with hurricane worries I am a wreck. My poor sister even has it, and it takes her so long to get over things....dh seems better but still milking it. Why is it when I am sick everyone wants to know whats for dinner, where is my laundry...when they are sick they can barely blow their own noses.

Den~ congrats on the new bundle of joy

Jennifer ~ hopefully they will be safe and won't sustain much damage.

Squeak~whats with the ages? I would love to be younger Ellis is right we are full of it (full of what is the question)

Ruth~: for the CT scan hang in there hun.

Lidian~ Sorry for the trouble DD is having

Hi to everyone else

Hi girls!

I haven't posted much (I know, you've missed me) because of school. I've been swamped with projects and this damn job gets in the way of doing my homework.

Ellis - Where exactly did you lodge this "vitamin?"

Squeak - I'd like to be older than 11. I don't think I had a clue about sex at 11. Or at least I didn't want anything to do with it.

I'm getting ready for a kick-*** party this weekend. My Cute Boyfriend turn 30! We're throwing a "Swank Lounge Party" with lots of lounge music, martinis flowing freely and some fattening appetizers (so far, crossiants stuffed with Brie and Cuban Shrimp and potato puffs are on the menu). I'm trying to figure out what to wear. I'm so excited! The last party, I was too busy playing hostess to get properly smashed. I'm determined to do it differently this time.

Well sort of! It's not an officially organized club we just chat about what books we have read, enjoyed and recommend. I will bump up the thread for you
