Sflake, in my next life I plan to be a cat with attitude (who diesn't deal with mice!). DDs and I think it looks like a great life, except for the cat food!

I may not post as often in the next while...one of the DDs is having a bit of a rough patch at school (stress, mainly - she is very smart and very well behaved!) I can't say more as she does not want me to tell lots of people (!) but...well anyway, I need to focus on her (& look after other DD and meself and DH) for now.

I will check in when I can - love to you all!

Mauvais, that is great that your husband is going to do SBD with you. I am switching to it as soon as I get my book read....I just can't seem to get to the bottom of it. Didn't the ingredient/allowed list get updated since the book? I think I read that on the Fat Chick on the Beach forum. Glad your Mom is doing better!

Glad everybody seems to be doing well...I've been so busy that I haven't been online hardly at all for the last 3 days. One good thing is that I finally busted my plateau! Only by .5 pounds, but at least that is a new number for the first time in about 6 weeks.

Good morning to you all! Early here, 6:33 am, my kids are out delivering papers, but I retired in Sept. John and I spent a wonderful weekend Sacred Circle Dancing at a camp in Ayr (Ontario). We were fed wonderful vegetarian food and I didn't have to do anything! Just dance, dance and more dancing.

It was even great to get home! Left 3 of the 4 kids on their own... the house still stands, thankfully.

Feeling really nurtured today and it's my BIRTHDAY! I'm 41!

Okay, as for me, I've gained back three effing pounds, which means I'm hovering at hitting 180 again, and I'm SO mad at myself! I've GOT to get it together today.

My leg is all better so now I have no excuse not to exercise. Rotten weekend. Nephews bday party was postponed due to the flu, seems that everyone in my family, except me and the pets has the flu....I am running my butt off taking care of everyone. At least I managed to maintain my weight.

We are watching hurricane isabel very carefully hope it does not hit the east coast, as we are approx. 600 feet from the shore.

Merrylegs-YUP!! Anything my furry baby wants she gets!!!!!

Mauvais-I am more naturally suited to staying up all night and sleeping all day, but can't because of the kids!!! At least DH takes them to school on his later days and lets me sleep in a BIT!!! Glad to hear your mom is doing so much better!!!

Ruth-Glad to hear you are getting Harry in so quickly for the CT scan. I am sending out LOTS of good vibes that he recovers as quickly as Mauvais' Mom has. VERY sorry to hear about your toe. You REALLY didn't need that added on top of everything else right now!!!

Squeak-Glad to hear you had a good time at the wedding!! Only two more days until my sweet little nephew comes to visit!! (Oh yeah.....my sister too!!!) Actually the little stinker has been giving her a hard time lately. He has learned that when he screams she comes running, and he is practicing it NIGHTLY. Good luck on de-cluttering!!! I need to do it too.....OOPS! LOOK AT THE TIME!!!

2Dog-I agree!! I LOVE the fall. We needed the rain here too, so I am very pleased with our overcast day. Except that i want to get back into bed and snooze!!!

Lidian-Sorry to hear your daughter is having a rough time. My youngest (smart, not so obedient, but warm hearted!!) is a VERY anxious kid, and gets bullied at school, so I can understand what you are going through. it hurts seeing your kids have a rough time, doesn't it? I hope things ease up for her and for you.

Jennifer-I hope you like SBD!! Ellis and I are SUPPOSEDLY on it too, although we haven't been doing so well lately!!!
