I am happy to report that I have done well this past weekend with temptation as well...Saturday night we had some friends over and ordered pizza...we have 4 local places in town and I chose Papa Johns because I can get the nutritional information online...and while everyone else had the meat and cheese laden pizza, I ordered half of one pizza veggie only-had none of the garlic butter, and stayed within my calorie range for the day! Yesterday was my daughter's fifth birthday party as well, and while we were in the rush of getting things together-DH and the kids ate KFC and I ate some fruit and a protein bar that I brought with me to my parents house in my purse...and I had none of the birthday cake or ice cream!!!! Yay ME!!!

Well it looks like my self control on the weekend paid off - I have lost 2.5 lbs and I am down to 164 again! :cb:

YEESH!! We have to get RID of these pounds instead of shifting them around!!! I'm afraid to weigh right now because I have been BAD lately. Made DH throw out what was left of the chocolate cake last night because he was barely eating it and I was scarfing it!!!

dentrassi-I don't know how many times I have done that before...the temptation of something is just too much and in a big sweep I just toss it in the garbage...my mother in law would be appalled and call it wasteful...but on the flip side, my arse is smaller than hers...hee hee hee!

To those I have not hello as well... I would like to join the Halloween challenge - not only do I need to lose more of this weight and have a goal, but I LOVE Halloween!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been putting on and taking off like the same 3 pounds for two weeks, my fault...I have been on and off my WW plan for those last two weeks....need to get my crap together - for so long I was doing so good...but I know I can start in again...I might have already blew it today with my breakfast but tomorrow is another day..... |

I had a most wonderful WW instructor that taught me something very valuable....if you mess up, don't throw away the day, just start with the next meal....and it really works!!! I am checking in 10 pounds down for towards my goal, 15.5 more to go....... My next step is to commit to the exercise...right now, i have done NONE!!! |

Hi everyone,
Well Day 2 is nearly over and I have been very very good. I am planning to spend a lot of time this weekend cooking. I want to plan the meals ahead because I spend too much time trying to figure out what to eat. My meals are pretty much eaten alone all week long thanks to my guys working those hours. The staff at work want to have pizza on Friday and asked if I was "in" for it. Tempted as I was, I said no. I am trying the South Beach Diet and breads are a no-no for at least two weeks. Bread is my weakness. So, not even a morsel. for me. My halloween goal is ten pounds. I hope it's realistic enough. You've all been so very kind and welcoming I just want to say thanks once again. Count me in! I just tried on my new harem pants yesterday (a friend made them from a pattern I found and I plan on also using them for Halloween) and my belly fat hangs over the waistband in a very unattractive way. I have to show it no mercy, so it looks good on me by Halloween!
Current weight -- 151 Goal weight by Halloween -- 140 Personal goals -- to look good in those harem pants! Fitness goals -- get my 10 minute ab workout every day, and work out at home on my off days that I'm not running |
Whoo hoo! I think I have dropped some more weight but I do not officially weigh in until Monday so I am not going to post poundage as I don't want to jinx it! :D
I have to be really good this weekend so I don't blow all the hard work I have done this week -staying OP and getting in some extra exercise. I am going out to dinner tonight and already know what I am eating in order to stay OP! |
Welcome, Robin! Good idea about meal planning. I never learned to do it, and would come home to an empty fridge. Then I would go out to eat, and that's how I gained all this weight! :lol:
Mauvais, yep, having a goal and weighing in helps so much for those last few days. ;) Well, I lost 2.5 lbs! I've been having success eating more days vegan. :D |

It's quiet here on weekends. Starting day 5 today. Haven't strayed yet. I guess it was a good week. I haven't been hungry .. well maybe a grumble or two before bed... but I survived it. Hope everyone is doing well. I am going shopping later to start to gather Halloween decorations for the house. Another new week! Where in the heck does the time go??
My weight release for the past week is 2.5 pounds, thanks in large part to my stress non-eating last week!! My weight is now 181. :cb: I'm so close to the 170's I can hardly stand it, it's been years since I've been there!!! Next week for sure!!!! One-half pound more, and I can buy a new charm for my charm bracelet (one charm for each 10 pounds lost!). I can't wait to go shopping. I hope everyone else had a successful week poundage-release wise. And for anyone who didn't lose, this is the first day of a new week.... |

I'm stuck at 179. I've been there for a week now. Up from 177. :( I'm so afraid of going into the 180's again. I've just had a good workout at the Y, and I'm hoping to have a good eating day. :dance: |
I weighed in at WW after work today and I lost 2.5lbs last week AND I got my 10lb ribbon! :cb: This brings me to a grand total of 12 lbs lost since June :D
