Halloween Challenge!
Okay so between Rowan Bailey and I we have decide to start up a Halloween challenge! :wizard:
Starting from September 2 to October 31st (so we can have a last fling during labour day weekend :devil: ) Anyone can join in - just post your current stats, your goal and anything else you want to share. Mauvaisroux Current weight: 164 lbs Goal weight by 31st: 159 lbs Personal goal: to fit into my Halloween costume :lol: Fitness goal: to get back to my routine of yoga, belly dance and pilates twice each per week. These were good ones so I copied them from Ruthxxx :D Other Goals: Take a half hour every to think about life. Make one small improvement in my home environment every day. |

Okay...my goals and I will probably add to them throughout as I become inspired by things...
10% of current weight down by Halloween South Beach Diet for eating and Curves for working out. My personal goal is to just do just be consistent and stay focused over the next few months. To keep increasing the things that I do that contribute to my health...hypnosis, shiatsu (ouch but good) and other things that make me feel balanced. |

Goal for Oct. 31st: reality - 165.5, but would really like to go for -160.5 Personal goal: To stick with the diet this time. I need to fit back into my jeans. Fitness Goal: To exercise at least 10 minutes 4 times a week. Doesn't sound like much - but some of you know how much of a big deal that would be. :) |

I'm here too girls...but, my goal is for October 15th...it's only fair...cause the surgeon will be removing some lbs. that day...so, I'll weigh-in that morning and then on the 31st...well, I should be a tad bit lighter by then but I'll reassess that goal after I see how much comes off in surgery.
So, I'm 176.5 today. starting weight (at least) 196 ultimate goal 130-145 (I'll know when I get there :) ) short term goal 169 (about 7.5 pounds, wow...haven't seen the 160's for seven years and now it feels attainable! :yes: ) personal goal: feel like a strong healthy woman when I get admitted to the hospital...be satisfied with the outcome even if I don't look like Madonna after... or rather, even if my breasts are the only part of my body that looks like Madonna's... ps, the offer is still out there if any of you need donations...there is plenty to go around...just email me your blood type and if you're a match, the excess adipose tissue is yours for the takin'...tho' I guess if transplanting and relocation were an option none of us would really need 3fc...hmmmm.... fitness goal: get to the gym three to four times per week and practice yoga four times per week... thanks for being there girls, Love, Soozie |

Current Weight - 198 last time I weighed Halloween Goal - 185.0 Fitness Goals: Put 70000 minimum steps on the pedometer daily and 10,000 on it two days a week. That means one walk most days and two on two days. Other Goals: Take a half hour every to think about life. Make one small improvement in my home environment every day. |

I've been back OP for a week... but am doing terribly. :( My plan is to reduce calories and add exercise, but i can't stay on it for more than a day or two. I'm hoping posting here will keep me accountable. Hope you all have a great day, AR |

Is it ok if I join in? I've been posting on the "Fat Chicks on the Beach" forum for about 6 weeks now, and just wandered over here....this looks like a FUN :dizzy: place to hang out!
Do I really have to post my actual weight? In black and white numbers? :fr: I haven't even done that on "the beach". Well, I guess since most of you have, I can be brave and do it too!! It's just so hard for me to see the actual numbers in big black print (somehow that makes it more real....am I sad or what!). :o OK........ Current weight: 187 Goal by Halloween: 177 Personal Goal: To care enough about myself and my health to stay OP and make permanent life-long changes in my habits. Fitness Goal: To get into a regular exercise routine. I really struggle with this....I'm the ultimate couch potato. :( |

Maybe if you see the numbers in black and white it will give you more incentive :D Personally I need this challenge to give myself a kick in the butt! I have been off and on plan for two weeks and losing 1 lb then gaining .5 back and I am sick of it. I am paying to go to WW and if I continue like this I feel that I am wasting my time and $$$ :mad: But it is my own darned fault! So it's time to roll up my sleeves and get to work and get my slowly diminishing butt in gear! :drill: |

2Dog-HIYA!! Welcome to the loony bin!! It is a LOT of fun here, and everybody is as nice as they are crazy!! I weigh a LOT more than you do, so don't worry about posting your weight!! Anyway, this is a SAFE place. I know it is hard to look at the numbers, but nobody is going to judge you by your weight. (OKAY, I MIGHT if you weighed 110 and said you wanted to get to 100 by Halloween!!!) Mauvais-Good idea!! |

Gofishin, welcome! We all have our own challenges to succeed at, and I see from your stats you've lost 12lbs already. Great work! Oh, did I officially sign up for this challenge? I don't remember. Anyway, I'm in! I want to work on eating less carbs and more protein/veggies even if it is outside my comfort zone. And I want to set up and follow an exercise schedule. :yes: And dagnabit I'm gonna DO IT! I don't even care about how many pounds, I just want for once to set goals and make them without chucking them out the window after a few weeks. |

I weighed 176 2yrs ago and lost on WW's,,gained 10 bk when grieving for MOM:cry: Weighed 124,my norm,5 yrs ago:yes: b4 knee surgery and braking my ankle:stress:..Used to run 5miles a day in my favorite Park,but do not live close by there any more,,,Marriage also added to my FAT.. :shrug:was single for 19yrs and had to start cooking for DH..LIFES A BEACH BUT WANT TO LOOK GOOD IN A BIKINI AGAIN................................GOFISHIN:dancer:

Ellis....we love you too...you are so effing sick (and funny!!) ...my DP and I were reading this thread and when we read your response to gofishin we both laughed so hard that we peed on the floor...it's stress incontinence :o...then we both ran downstairs straight to the scale...not too much lost so, could we come over and have you rip out our hair too??? or is gofish the only dish you'll provide that service for???
I haven't gotten weighed yet today...so, I'm not...ate lots of nasty stuff this weekend...have to repent and reform before I'm willing to weigh-in...so, I will report next week...maybe all of that thinking about getting my boobs docked got me lazy...or it's the dreaded...(theme from jaws please) PMS... talk to you soon girls... my youngest sister's husband said to me, real low key and casual like...hey, Soozie, do we get to see your boobs before and after? I cracked up and my sister throws him a dirty look and says...always tryin'. Yeah, I will post photos...but, first I'm postin photos of my kitchen that I had remodeled LAST SUMMER!! summer of '02...now I finally have a digital camera and free web space from mac so, I can post afters...just not befores of the kitchen... here, I'll see if I can find a before shot that shows the boobs well...but, you best not print it out girls...and sell it to one of those...I have the hots for heavy hotties magazines...okay? |
