Amy, I hear ya re: the rednecks. We lived in a small town for a few years, and I couldn't walk ANYWHERE without someone stopping to ask if I wanted a lift.

Lidian, my DD has been eyeing MY pedometer!
I think I've convinced my Mom to bye one.

Thanks to my determination to walk home from picking Dad up at the hospital with Mom, I have walked a grand total of 8285 steps so far today. It's ummm, 8:30 pm.
Better than yesterday!
Although I ate like a pig because I was worried about Dad.

That's wonderful Ellis, all that walking (& I am so glad your dear Dad is OK, I would've eaten a lot too - and did, with my mom awhile back...).

I walked around a lot too & my legs are telling me to sit or lie the h*** down so I am gonna do that.
