Today went by okay. I ran this morning and ate breakfast, but starting feeling sick later with a headache and nausea. I had been drinking water, so I figured my body was low on food. Guess it was because after I ate a bit more, the headache went away. I have to be careful I don't work myself down too low on food so I have some energy to keep going.

I had a gain this week. I am going to start a new 30 pound goal sometime during the next month. Thank you everyone for your support.

Today's weigh in is down 0.5 lbs. Yeah! Every little bit counts. Later today I had 4-5 inches of my hair cut. It has just been too hot here lately. I can feel the difference already. I bet that will help with my weight too. lol

Darius-keep up the good work. You may have shown a gain today, but I bet tomorrow the scale will say otherwise. You have been on a downward spiral for a while now. Perhaps your body is just stabilizing some after all that weight loss.

Corinna, you are right, every little bit counts. I'm down .2 lbs, but at least the scale went in the right direction.

Darius, you've done so well...I'm sure you will get back on track!

Enjoy your week everyone!

I agree. I bet next weekend we will all see some bigger losses once again.

Wow, January has come and gone....we all have made changes to our eating and exercise habits to try to see what works and what doesn't for us. I think February we will see more improvements take place.

Kudos to all on this thread. Keep up the good work!!!

Well, I had a meltdown yesterday. I hosted a Superbowl party and blew my diet. Today I must do better!

Unhappy

Last 7 days averaged 989 calories, exercised more than before, about 2 hours of walking....up one pound....see why I am having such a hard time over the past months? MD said I would need to eat 900-1000 to lose....I am not eating bad food......

Oh no Renee?!?!? You were doing so good too. I know it must be so hard with all that food around. The good thing is that was only one day, so now you can get back on track and keep that extra weight from getting back on your body once again. Remember it is so easy to put it on when it tastes good, but it takes so much longer to get it back off. You said meltdown...does that mean you were sad about something? Or did you mean to say that you decided to have a festive good time and just enjoy yourself fully for the day? I hope the festive one was the true reason you postponed your diet for a few hours. How did your Superbowl party turn out? It sounds like you are always involved in some type of fun activity. A nice happy family sharing time together.

Deelou-I am wondering how tall you are. Perhaps your body is not getting enough calories for it to maintain its day to day functions and exercise, so it always saving everything since it is in starvation mode. Or you are not eating a balanced diet with a variety of foods. What if you try not counting calories and just eat small balanced healthy meals. Maybe that would work better. Of course I am not a doctor, but I do know that if I ate only 900-1000 calories a day, my body would be starving, and I would be sick with a headache and feeling faint. When my body doesn't have enough energy, it really shuts down, and that could be very harmful too.
