:welcome:fitchy glad to have you join in. You can personally set your goal to whatever you like.The goal that is set should of course be realistic. For most people who are overweight, losing 5 to 10 pounds is a realistic goal Its just easy for most to lose or reach a goal when it does't seem so daunting. Keeping it small keeps it real and attainable; and realistic goals that are attainable through calculated actions over a set time period insures success.
You are doing wonderful and I am sure you will reach your 7lb. goal. |

Way to go Fitchy! I was unable to lose this weekend due to a huge family reunion as well as a big cookout yesterday. I ate too much, but tried to keep BFC choices all the same. I'm back in my routine now so it should be easier to lose. Planning on a HB egg for breakfast, chicken breast and salad for lunch, and homemade bean soup and veggies from the garden for dinner.

You girls are all doing great! I am aiming for a 5 lb loss this month. I have a doctor's appointment on the 20th and I want to lose as much as I can by then because this is the doctor who comments on my weight loss, and it makes me feel good!
Actually, I am up 6 lbs from my lowest weight of 182, so I will be losing weight I have lost twice before, LOL, but I won't quit trying. Webwoman, I used to eat like you do and it kept my weight in line. I am trying to get back to that and keep my carbs at a minimum. I know that's what works for me. You know I said my husband gets on my case about the eggs, but I know they help me lose. I will update my ticker and get started! Carol |

It looks as though everyone is doing fine. Webwoman I am right there with you. I am at the beach and I have been having agreat time. Too good of a time. I have made some really bad choices, and most foods have been fried. I hate fried food. But, my hubby likes these places where the choices are some what limited. But I am the one that made the choices thus throwing myself off track. It's my fault that I feel so guilty and filled with regret in having done so. Now I have to lose the same pounds over again, But I will do it. I hope that all of you had a great Labor Day and that you have a wonderful week. |
BCL, don't feel guilty, it does no good.
When you get back from the beach, just jump back into your healthy routine again. My BF is from the south and his idea of any good food involves frying, breading, or both. When he chooses a restaurant, it's a struggle to find anything healthy at all on the menu. (no offense to those from the south, but if I followed Paula Deen's recipes I'd probably be pushing up daisies at this point.) Enjoy your vacation! |

I am back from the beach and I had a great time. Did not do to bad, but did eat off plan. I did walk 2 or 3 miles every morning on the beach, except 2 days. I had an allergic reaction to something and had to see doctor for shots. I spent 2 days in may room, but one of those days was a cloudy day. I am happy to be back and ready to rock BFC. Still waiting on my newest BFC book. Its due out Sept.11th. Its call the Fast Track, I will let you know what it is about. I want to thank everyone for your support and encouraging words. I've been trying, but after last weekend have been up a couple of pounds. It's probably because I haven't been walking as usual and ate some leftover Chinese food and ham, which are both high in sodium. I really need to get to the grocery and buy some more healthy foods for the house. |
I am doing so bad I won't even get on the scale. For some reason I am eating too many carbs and my BS is so out of control. That's not good. I don't know what's wrong with me. Today, I am planning on eating only protein and veggies to try to get my glucose down. These pounds I put back on have me feeling so uncomfortable.

Ok Ladies, we all back slide. The most important thing is to get back on track. Please look at the fast track menu and give it a try to get back in the
grove. You may also want to keep a daily log on what you are eating and what you are feeling at that time. ayou will see a pattern that is forming,then you can do something to break it. All of us' to often give ourselves permission to cheat. Its when we realize that we are cheating ourselves out of that percious goal. Set a date to lose your next 5lbs. and stick to it. Got the new BFC Fast Track Book today. It is very intersting and shows awsome results. Worth the read. I think I will give it a try Monday and see how much I can lose. It says drop up to 14lbs in 14 days, thats a pound a day! That would be GREAT! It would give me that boost I so need. If I can't committ to 14 days, then I really need help. |
In looking at the Fast Track free menu samples, it's clear this is a low carb/sugar, high protein plan. The breakfast portions are huge and I know that would be a problem for me as I usually have no appetite in the morning. :( Maybe by front-loading the day he figures there's more time to burn it off?
