Hello Ladies I am back on track and have started a BFC Labor Day Challenge Monday. I am down 1.2lbs. already. Last month was no so good because of medical problems, but I am back and rocking it. Hubbie and I planning a trip to the beach
Labor Day Weekend and I am shooting for a 10lb. loss befor than. If I can keep this up, I might even see a 15lb. loss:p. Good Luck ladies and have a great BFC week! |

Hows it going? It looks like that people are using the new thread " Labor Day Challenge All Welcome" on support forum>support groups. I don't plan to close this thread. I hope that BFC-ers will still post their progress and ideas. Its getting a little confusing for me. I started this forum and was encouraged to start the Labor Day Challenge in more than one area. I wish I could have kept it on this thread. Any how, all is welcome no matter where you post. I am down 4lbs this am and hoping for a 5lbs. by Monday am. Good Luck and Have a great BFC Week! |

Please post your BFC Challenges. Mine is the evening! I do well and then the evening is so hard. I want to snack and its when my carvings are the worst.:(

My BFC Challenge today was a wedding. I went I ate and I danced, I just hope I did more dancing than eating. The food was great! There was a grilled chicken dish, new potatoes and steamed veggies. I skipped the roll and I did have maybe 2 bites of wedding cake. It was not worth the calories. Thank goodness! No alcohol for me because I was driving, I drank about 6 or 7 glasses of water and 1 unsweetened tea. Then when I got home, I drank more water.I was so thursty from dancing.:carrot:

BCL216 did you lost the 17 lbs doing BFC? I am a member of his e-mail club and I see in September that he is going to be releasing a new book called BFC:Fast Track. From what I read on a blog it seems to be similar to Paleo eating, but with a little more meal ideas using everyday foods. I currently follow Paleo, but I really liked what I read about BFC. I need a little more wiggle room and the option to add a whole grain if I need it. So I was just curious. Any feedback would be helpful. Thanks |

So glad to have you join us. I lost the 17lbs. on BFC from late Feb.2011 to present. I have to be honest, I too like Carol bouncing between the same 5lbs. I need to really stick with the plan. When I do, I usually lose 4 to 9lbs in a week. So I will prove this to myself so I can reach my goal of 10lbs by Sept.1. The next 2 weeks I will be very on point with BFC. If I do this I can stay the course. HEY, lets do this srtickly for the next 12 days and see what happens. Are you in? I am pledging to follow the plan and post daily to let everyone know how its going. I will have a new and exciting challenge coming up Sept.1st. I think we will see more takers on this challenge. Carol you have come a long way and I know we both take a few U-Turns, but we can refocus and recommitt. I am looking forward to being under 200lbs. I have a trip planned for the beach first week in Sept. and it has me worried. I love the beach and more over, I love the food and excitement.;) |
@BCL216 I will join you for the next 12 days! BFC! BFC! BFC! This will so help me nail this plan down. I learned a lot about how my body works just in the last three days. I always thought the problem was eating too much or too little. I now know that is sugar and carbs.
So, this has to be a way of life for me. |

I will post the NEW CHALLENGE for(Sept.1st.) here and any future challenge as well. This thread was started so all 3fatchicks members could post, whether they are BFC Chicks are not. We all are trying to lose no matter the plan and so all are welcome. The next challenge will be one that everyone will feel comfortable and the goal will be one that each of us, No matter where we are in our weight loss journey; No Matter the age, can truly feel that its doable. Anyone who has a BFC Challenge is welcome to post it as well. |
