Lyn, forgot to say, of course I remember you. I'm glad you're back. Sounds like you are a very busy lady.

Good Morning, I had Tim take a couple more pictures this morning to show the balance board too. The first two just made me look like I was kind of standing there looking goofy!!! Oh well-- if the shoe fits--- I just finished my hour on it and feeling good. At least when it is 6 degrees outside you can still run around the island!!! HA!!

Well, I am going to make this short for right now-- I need to get some things done around the house besides just the Wii! I think it becomes addicting, kind of like 3Fatchicks!! But I love it!

I'll be back later.

Good Morning,

Back from the gym; clothes in the closet/drawer/washer; suitcases back in the garage; mail opened/filed/tossed; ready to sit down & relax. Would you believe I left my Nook reader at the gym this morning? Luckily, when I got home, I realized it was missing & when I got back to the gym it was sitting just where I had left it!

I have some Disney photos attached - my DD with Mickey & my SIL with Mary Poppins & me with my SIL. Waiting for the marathon photos of my DD.

Tomorrow, my DF and I are going to the local community college and signing up to audit a course (free for seniors). We have not yet decided which course, probably something in Literature, or Art, or History.

My DD and SIL went to Venice, FL after the marathon. I pick them up from the airport on Sunday.

Have a good day, Everyone,

Lynn

Howdy...Darn you had to send us that cold too! Got down to 26 last night and that's cold. Another night and than back in the 70+'s. The manatees are hoovering around the springs and only leave to eat. I have big pot of chilli cooking. OMG is this a beans week!

Couldn't figure out who got what inches of snow. Have friends that got 14-16" and others that got a dusting. Guess it's cold everywhere today.

Karen...wii looks like such good fun.

Lynn...you and DD have the same smile

Lyn...I remember your picture in the I think lilacs(?)

Freda...Your were taught day one in nursing school whenever you get a chance to put your feet up. Now girl remember to eat on schedule, too. You can't take care of others if you are falling out. Bring some of your car emergency snacks into work. You can chew and chart.

Got DH a new monitor for his cp and got it up and running without a bit of trouble. WHY??? when I do something for self it takes me all day and drives me to the edge of insanity. ie the rotor last month. I dusted his desk and shelves with a swifter and Dash went bonkers. He kissed me to death. Think he thought it was new doggie toy.

NancyNc...My BF and I would get cabin fever and run away from home alot. We'd invite Dhs if they promised to behave. We ended up in some of the strangest places and always felt human again when we got home. 4X in the mountains and watching the beaver was as far from work as I could get. Of course the bottle of wine helped.

The chilli tonight will be for Dh...think I'll use my portion as a taco salad without the taco. 2 more days on level 1. Can now start thinking about what I want to add back into my diet. I do so well at this level think I might stay at 1.5 level instead of full 2. I check my calorie intake daily with Fitday. have a tendency to not eat enough and that as we all know stops the lossing. I've tried every diet know and then some.....think you have find the one that meets your needs and tastes.

Off to stir the pot...karen3

Hola, All...
Busy morning today, so I'm just getting around to checking in...

Lynn, who is in the picture with you? You look great, BTW! And thanks for all the computer "how-to" tips. You're VERY helpful and knowledgeable!

Mary, where is your next stop, if you ever get to leave this stop? Any progress on vehicle parts? Your attitude is great; I'd be chomping at the bit.

PT/Zoe, still digging out? I have the most adorable SamCat on my lap, one paw on my hand and his wee head on my arm... I love him! I've been adding a tsp. of the chia gel to his canned food since I started taking it myself. He likes his food moist (he's old!), and this fits the bill. I think the benefits are the same as for us, the good antioxidants, potassium, iron, etc. The vet cautioned about giving him too much of the raw seeds, because of the water retention properties. That doesn't seem to be a problem with the gel.

Rosey, bummer about the doctor's apptment (the WASTED appointment!). And Freda is right that you should use the scale you normally use. And how can you NOT be losing weight??? That's just nuts. I'll be interested to hear what kinds of foods make it to your "yum" list!

Nothing much to report here. It's nearly 50 degrees, so the snow is pretty well melted. CO is great that way, and the weather really can't be beat, all things considered!

I'm still stretching the leg, and it seems better. I did discover that if I move BOTH legs outside the car before I try to get out of the car, I don't hurt. Hmmm. Stupid crone age!

Hope you're all well........ warm, dry, and safe, Everyone!!

Hi G.G.s,
Not really in the mood for talking (typing) much tonight, but I wanted to say hello. SO & I both got stressed-out trying to deal with some new bills that came in, & harsh words were exchanged (nice way to put that he yelled at me & I told him off). Anyway, he apologized & everything's ok now. At least I didn't even consider reaching for food for comfort (but I did have to make me a pot of coffee). Now I'm drinking my 2nd cup & trying to chill-out.

Donna, nice pic of SamCat. I feel really guilty because I chased my little boy cat off when he tried to jump on my lap during our little ruckus, & now he's ignoring me. And, Lynn, great pics of you & DD & SIL.

Well, I'm going to take my coffee, & grab my book (a cozy mystery - my favorite kind of reading), & spend some time in a nice little fictional world for a while.

'Night Everyone,
NCNancy

Nancyoyo 01-13-2011 08:45 PM

Rosey, just saw your new ticker, you must have posted while I was typing. WOW! WOW! WOW! That's fantastic! You go girl!

NCNancy

Karen31 01-13-2011 09:25 PM

Donna-- Samcat looks so calm, cool and collected!! Yeah, like I'm here and you are lucky! So pretty!

Rosey, glad to see that you got your ticker up.. sometimes they can be tricky to do and then all of a sudden it just works!

Lynn, great pictures. You always look so happy!

NCNancy---I know how you feel when things get stressful--- Right now I'm having a cup of Sleepytime tea! DH and I are doing fine but the son----well, I'm afraid he is just going to make more bad choices... Got to learn that these are his choices and back away---got to have that tough love!

Bobbi hope things are going good with you.

Well, wanted to pop in and say hello--Think I will go and finish watching Greys Anatomy and Private Practice.. Later......

Bobbolink 01-14-2011 09:27 AM
