Hi! Starting this thread a bit early since I am just looking forward for this month to be over! Only because I finally got back on the saddle about 2 weeks ago but for me, there's just something better about starting at the beginning of the month, you know?
Anyway, for newbies to these kinda challenges, you don't actually have to make your goal to be 10 pounds. Make it whatever you want it to be!

If I make it to 130lbs I will be very happy, but alas it is a short month and I am ever closer to goal so 7lbs may be ambitious. Regardless, I'll take any loss.
I want to join in as well, I need something to put me back on track. Officially on my weigh-in day, I was weighing 167.8, but I think I will just say 168. My goal for March 1st will be 163 or lower.

I can't do 10 lb increments! But if I reach 163 by March 1st, I may try another 5 lb challenge for March so I can be at 158 by April 1st.
I tried to join last month's one super late but it's ok because I had already lost 10 lb before joining. I still wish I had lost after, but didn't. Now I can start fresh.
I'll be in but I will WI on Feb 1 to use as my end date for the January challenge and my starting weight for this one. It's a short month and I'm seeing that I'm slowing down after a dramatic first couple of weeks right at the start, so I'll be aiming for around 7 or 8, depending on my exact starting weight.
Shooting for 5lbs this month as my losses have slowed WAAAY down lately. Plus, I'm spending a week at an all inclusive in Mexico, not exactly conducive to dieting

I am so in as usual. I am going to shoot for seven pounds this month. I've been kind of slowing down. I know I haven't been entirely faithful to my diet and exercise plan, and this month is my birthday month. I don't entirely plan on being really good. Not that I am planning on being bad. I am just getting close to goal, and I am giving myself a little more leeway than usual. I am at eight pounds down from last month. I just want to keep up the downward trend.
It's a short month so I'm trying to keep my goal reasonable. I'm tempted to try for 8lbs, but I'll stick with 6lbs. 1.5lbs/week is definitely doable, but frankly as long as I am in the 150s by Valentine's day I will be very happy.
