Yes I did (Monday and Tuesday)

Monday 30 minutes (running late) and Tuesday 45 minutes in the pool.
Feeling pretty crappy though because all the exercise/watching what I eat isn't showing on the scales.

ageoldie 02-07-2005 09:27 PM

no

I really didn't feel well againg today, I did go to work, but that's all.

But...I've already made arrangements for my mom to pick me up to go to the health club in the morning early!!!

Terri in MO 02-07-2005 09:42 PM

Sure did.

20 minutes pilates this morning
20 minute dog walk in the cold tonight
30 minutes on the spinner

Leanne - Hang in there!!! Don't get discouraged. Make sure you're being true on portion sizes or that you are eating enough!

Barb.G - Hope you're feeling better soon.

Hey, are we starting a new thread for the week?

hippygoddess 02-07-2005 11:42 PM

I know I'm probably not eating enough (just realised today). I checked my dietclub software and for the last 7 days its been: av calories 1654
average cals burnt through exercise/day : 784
net calories per day: 869
Not enough, so my body is probably reacting. I usually overestimate portions too, as I would rather err on the side of putting down too much than not enough. So today I'm going to make sure I have at least 1200 net calories - preferably 1500. Thanks for the encouragement - I really hit a bit of a low after weigh-in yesterday.
So many people are doing well on this thread, its inspiring.

togger 02-08-2005 09:05 AM

I managed 20 minutes on the bike last night. Less than I planned, but the weather threw off my plans.

I love this thread. Exercise and increasing daily activity is the absolute key for me to lose weight.

Lets make this a less Fat Tuesday....everyone get out there and move today!!

ageoldie 02-08-2005 02:20 PM

Yes

I went to my water-walking class. We walk right at a mile in chest deep water. We do it in series of "laps" down and back. some one lap in 1 minute, some 3 laps in 3.5 minutes, etc. Since it's been almost a week since I exercised, and since I've decided why I've felt so bad this week is a major flare of the SjS every muscle in my body hurts even some I didn't realize were muscles!!!

Tomorrow will be better.

Come on Ladies, lets move! :cb:

hilta 02-09-2005 12:56 PM

:) Good Morning everyone. Today (Wed.)I walked 35 minutes outside. The
weather here in OH is overcast a 40 degrees and drizzleing. It felt
so good to walk outside again. I put on the ear phones and radio
and listen to talk show or music. The time seems to go much faster
outside than on the treadmill. Talk to all later - keep up the good
work . Can't wait for spring. http://www.uploadbucket.com/ims/pic....16pBPg7&i=4614 http://www.uploadbucket.com/ims/pic....16pBPg7&i=4615

P.S.Thanks ageoldie

ageoldie 02-09-2005 02:02 PM

Sorta...

Didn't do my regular advanced water aerobic class, but did the slower paced regular class. Didn't work up a sweat, but at least it got my joints moving. Getting old is the pits!!!

hippygoddess 02-09-2005 03:45 PM

No I didn't (Wednesday)

No exercise for me Wednesday - the pool was booked and after working I had a huge headache, laid on the lounge and fell asleep. When I woke up at 11 pm I didn't really want to walk in the dark.

Angela_aka_Alice 02-09-2005 06:01 PM

Yes, Weds.

20 min. walking

Well, Leanne, life happens... and you're shooting for 5 days a week, right, so you're okay.

hippygoddess 02-09-2005 07:04 PM

Yes I did (Thursday)

I did deep water walking for 45 minutes and aquarobics for 10 minutes ... and then went walking (in the rain) for 15 minutes!
My knee is swollen to heck and back, but I feel better.
I was reading what you said, BarbG about water walking and so I asked the pool owner how far it is across the pool (10 m) ... so I counted in tens as I walked my laps (10, 20, 30 etc ...) - I only did the normal 120 laps but gee it FELT like I was walking a lot further! I got tired around 80 laps (800m) so I think I will just count laps by ones from now on!! Isn't it weird what tricks the mind plays on you.

Angela - yes I'm shooting for 5 days a week and so far I've been able to do that for the last couple of weeks - so you are right, life happens!! :)
