Ubee: I've never exercised so much in my life. I'm doing Zumba (Gold edition, for old and fat people.. oh well) about 10-20 minutes per day, which in itself burns about 400 cal because it's SO intensive, I'm a sweaty pig and in some sort of muscle pain afterwards. What I've come to notice is that this whole weight loss thing isn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. I'm sure as I get smaller the weight is going to be harder to get off, but for now I'm enjoying how relatively quickly it seems to be falling off. I've lost 1 and 1/4 inches in my waist alone in 20 days. I think that's a lot?

Jane: I think I'm going to be in that same boat >_< I have huge hips too!

Couple of NSV's:

- Cranked out 50 sit-ups in 2 minutes during the partner sit-ups portion of my kickboxing class. Normally I hate it because I feel like I slow my partner down, but my partner (who was overweight, but smaller than me) had to stop way before me. Felt good, and I also encouraged her that it does get easier. I used to top out at 20-something.

- Donated a crap ton of clothing to one of my favorite charity thrift shops. Size 26 jeans are officially too big for me, really happy about that. And lots of tops that were too big. Someone is going to be looking fabulous in my old duds.

Jane, I'm glad you are staying!

Wheezypi, 1 &1/4 inches in 20 days! I am jealous! Great job!

Bridget Jones, how long have you been exercising? I've done 50 sit ups in my life! I think it is important to regift our clothes as our size changes. Glad you take pride in that!
