10 Days In The Life Boat #57

  • Welcome to the newest segment of 10 Days In The Life Boat.

    Remember this is not a "challenge" but a place for accountability to ourselves and support from our fellow rowers. So, what is your plan for this 10 day segment?

    Grab an oar and join us doing our best to stay dry.
  • Gee the 10 days go by quickly.

    My goal for the next 10 days is:

    1. Stay OP with eating
    2. Exercise daily
    3. Include one "minimum eating plan" day in the 10
    4. Put my fork (or food) down between every bite and sip something.
  • I am pushing for 10 days on plan.
    I want to up my activity, get my fruit in
    and keep a positive attitude.
  • Mostly dry yesterday, but this putting the fork down thing is HARD. It is also helpful.

    I had a slice of strawberry pie last night and have no idea how many calories were in it! It was truly amazing and so super sweet.
    I will stay op and make sure the rest of my calories are in line.

    I fell in the water yesterday and had a really long swim!!!
    But i am back in the boat now, my heads back in the game.
    Pushing for the next week to be a great one

    Staying mostly dry here, though I didn't exercise yesterday. Let knee pain serve as an excuse, even though I know that usually a gentle walk will actually make it feel better... no excuses today!
  • Goal for my 10 days:
    Stay within or below calorie range for at least 7 days of the 10.
    Go to the gym at least two days
    Exercise at home at least 7 days -- must be at least 15 minutes/day of Zumba
    Cook meals at home for dinner for the entire 10 days
  • A little late but my goal is:

    Walk at least 2 miles every day.
    Stay within my calorie budget.
    Drink at least 3 quarts of water.

  • I'm here too. Rowing away. Trying to stay dry. No commitments for me this leg. I'm just hanging on by a thread and will be fully on board when the new leg starts on Thursday.

    I am back in the boat now and i just want to finish off the 10 days
    with a few good ones.

  • Two days at the gym: Complete
    Days under calories: 5 so far
    Exercising at home on days not at the gym: Missed a couple days, and today will be one of them. Test tomorrow
    Cook meals at home: Fell in the water one day, but controlled my portions (we ordered chicken) and maintained calories.
