I got that one yesterday too, and it was "melting" that she used! I posted it somewhere around here, maybe another NSV thread.

I was so happy, she made my whole day.

Loving this thread, ladies!

New day, new NSV! I am now able to wear plus size clothes found in stores. This also means that I can buy clothes at yard sales for the first time in 10 years!!!!!!

Today for $30. I bought 3 sweaters, 2 pants, 18 tops, (3 of them with tags on.) a pair of boots and shoes!!!

Before I left the house this morning I had 4 t-shirts, 2 dresses, 1 sweater, 2 dress tops, and 3 pants. The best part was I picked clothes because I liked them not just because they fit. (Some of the tops I bought a little small to shrink into.)

Awesome NSV, ubee!! What a bargain for $30!!

I got a pedicure today. I moved my butt around in the chair doing a happy dance as I had room on both sides that I could see the seat. It was awesome, I felt so normal like the other ladies there.

I saw someone I knew on my way out of the salon and she looked twice at me and said "OMG you look wonderful!". I think I turned the same shade of red as my nails. It made my whole day.

Yesterday, a coworker said, "you have no butt!" Today, someone said, "I can really tell, you really need to buy some new clothes that fit." I must be losing inches since I've been losing 2 lbs a week so not a speedy loss by no means.

It means "non scale victory." Sorry I should have put that in my original post.

I DID IT! I cut our lawn. It took me 3x as long as anyone else. I did it all in one day. I have not done this for 7 years. I DID IT! I am crying. This weight has stopped me from doing so much. Not anymore!

I've had a couple, and plus pretty much every victory is non-scale (I don't own a scale, hah.) First one was putting on a size 32 jeans that I'm completely convinced are the wrong size because the same size from the same place are loose on me, but anyway I ordered them last year and couldn't even get them up my fat a*$ and I managed to get them up, buttoned, and zipped... uncomfortably (well they've literally never been worn) but still ON. I can't believe I've lost 40 lbs and I still haven't dropped any noticeable sizes, I'm chalking that up to being 5'2 3/4 (yeah, that 3/4 is necessary) and carrying at least 60% of my weight in my butt/hips/gut. Yesterday I went to the gym for 35 minutes and ramped up the speed of the treadmill to 2.3 (I have short legs, that was almost at jogging for me lol) at an incline of 1.0 AFTER I did the stupid elliptical for 3 minutes while my knees were screaming at me to stop, and had absolutely no leg/joint pain while doing so. There's been other little things too but that's all that I can think of.

Wheezy In over 100 pounds, I've only gone down two pants sizes due to my gut. Hang in there!

Great job with all your exercising Wheezypi. I can walk at 2 mph on the treadmill for 30 minutes. You are impressive.

I really do think it is like the toilet paper roll everyone talks about. Nothing much to see at first but the farther into it you get the faster it disappears. Pants without elastic is a NSV all in itself!

RadioJane how about giving yourself a NSV for all your hard work for that wedding. You looked great and you stuck with it. In all honesty when you were sick after the wedding and didn't post for a few days I was afraid you'd left us.

haha I would never leave! I was just too exhausted to pick up my tablet!

But yes, thank you. Sometimes when I'm discouraged about how big I still look in the pictures I remind myself how much bigger I was when they got engaged.
