How about a NSV?
I saw this on another board and thought I might like to share mine for the week...
I tried on a shirt I hadn't worn much since last fall and it is much looser. I can wear some shoes that I haven't worn in years due to feet swelling. My shorts are much looser than last summer. Yay!!! I love it!!!:carrot: Please feel free to share yours as well. Pam |
Awesome NSV Pam!
I tried on a pair of hiking shoes/sneakers today that my legs used to look like tree trunks in so I never wore them. Today I look like I just have skinnier tree trunks in them so I might wear them this weekend. I'm so glad they fit better now! |

I'll share mine: After almost 6 months OP and 40 pounds lost, I'm FINALLY going down in size where it counts: I was able to go to a smaller size in tights, which I wear to work all the time (but have trouble finding because of size, and then have to hide the wrinkly ankles because the larger sizes are SOOOOO long); I also needed to size down my bras; and I think it's time for new underwear. I'm also not wearing stretch pants any more except to sleep in! Oh, and I can sort of jog now. That's huge for me. |

These are great NSVs. Pam and ElvisLover - I love the shoes NSV, especially since that is something you never really think about.
Vortex - hahah. TIGHTS, yes, and the wrinkly ankles, I know exactly what you mean. I had found that the Curvations tights they have at K-Mart are pretty nice. If you wear black tights? I really like them, and they aren't too expensive. My NSV, which I shared in the chat thread but oh well, is that maybe 20 minutes into talking to a stranger at a music festival this weekend, I realized that he was flirting with me. And I was like whoa: I think this guy's flirting with me. So, yeah. |

I could easily pull them off and on with buttoning or zippering. I remember when I couldn't even squeeze myself into their biggest size, 18 just a little over a year ago. Crazy how much can change in a year.

Amazing NSV's Everyone! :congrat:
My NSV is today I bought new granny pants :o in a single digit size. This also means I can now choose colors and prints, not just the white ones! (Small town shopping.) |
Ubee, love your NSV! Yay for pretty underwear!
My NSV, today I hit over 12,000 steps on my fitbit. When I started using it in May I struggled to get 5000 steps a day. Now I'm at 12K with no problems. Whoo hoo! |
Wow!!! A lot of Great NSVs. These are the kind where you realize "Hey this is all worth it!" Personally, I am so ready for that one where you realize that moving is so much easier than when you started. I am so proud of everyone. Keep up the great work!!!

I got into some white capris I have had for a few years but never able to wear. I have worn them to a wedding and to church. I felt great in them. I also cant wear the sandals I wore last year. They are to lose on my foot.
