Wow, you are really getting wallopped with snow,
dgramie. We have a dusting, essentially, a couple of days, but nothing more than that. I managed to get on track with eating for a couple of days last week, and am being good this morning/afternoon, but will no worry about it much tonight. Still, I'm looking forward to the austerity of January. I'll see what the damage is January 2, I think. I'm also planning to add in a bit more exercise and am thinking about some sort of toning video. Target had some walking poles on sale as well, and I was thinking about buying those.
Hope you had a great sleep over!

I was a little deflated today... I finally decided to go for a walk... and I've been delaying it, because its been chilly and I have asthma, and usually end up wheezing after walking in cool air (not to mention terrible earaches
Anyways, I felt so proud of myself... until I got back and realized it took me about 18 minutes to walk half a mile. I walk so much slower "naturally"... then I do if I use a treadmill. Sigh.

Give it time, chica. As you lose more weight you will find that your natural pace increases. You just need to have patience with yourself. I think it is good to walk both outdoors and on the treadmill and am going to try to incorporate more outdoor walking. My treadmill does not have much variance in incline, but my street is super hilly so I think there are benefits (and challenges) to both.
