I'd love to say that I got back OP today but I have now had some sort of miserable stomach thing for a few days and can barely hold anything in...this is no ay to spend my "relaxing" time off...but it might get me out of a meeting I am supposed to go to on Sunday. I am trying to stay hydrated between bathroom sprints

Carol-I'm feeling better than he can accept. I'm raring to go back to the pool, etc. He's practically threatening to lock me in. I read off and on all day so far. I got to page 192 and decided to take a break to listen to a baseball game. God knows there is nothing wrong with my voice. I could talk until my tongue falls out. It's the strongest muscle in my body.

Argh...
I was at the store today and saw these adorable capri jean pants. The biggest size they had looked HUGE and they weren't expensive so I bought them. Brought them home and they are nowhere near fitting me. I would have to lose alot of weight to get into them. DEPRESSING!

I'm hoping that once I start losing again, and I eventually lose one size that others will drop faster.

Penny, your family is doing so well with their weight loss. That's really great. You'll love having the treadmill right in your own home. I know I do....LOL when I use it.

Julee, that sounds miserable. Hopefully your tummy will feel better soon.

heather dw, now you have something to work towards. I always keep the next size down just to keep me motivated. It will be a while before I fit into the 22's but at least I have a pair for when I do.

I actually got to wear my skinny legged jeans today. The only problem is, is that the waist is too big so they kept falling down. I guess my proportions are getting all messed up.

I got to work outside ALOT today. I mowed all the grass, did some weedeating, moved rocks and worked in the flower beds. It felt so good to be outside. I knew we had to do it today because rain is in the forecast again for this weekend. So gotta enjoy the time while I can.

I'm staying OP so well today and already on my 4th liter of water. I just hope the scale shows a loss tomorrow after all that cheese and salami.
Enjoy the evening
Debbie

amazing job lauren!!! I am so proud of yall. Do they have any games going on at TOPS right now? I know i was in a couple of games years ago and won a bunch of towels. I think everyone bought a towel to start and a wash cloth or hand towel if they gained. It was great being a newlywed and winning all those towels. I didnt have to buy towels for years and years. Keep up the great work!!

Debbie: The bad this is that these pants have to be more than one size down..LOL

Given the slow rate I'm losing, I *might* get to wear these next summer.

Hi all:

Delicious, but unhealthy, dinner tonight -- but my parents are in town! Yay! I love to see them -- don't get to see them enough, as far as I'm concerned.

Heather_dw -- hope you don't mind me saying this, but you seem really down -- on yourself, on your progress, on your future Don't give up -- you've just begun! You WILL fit those pants -- and who cares which summer it is? You will fit them! And feel great! You are awesome and worth so much -- don't give up on you -- we won't!!!

gotta get to bed! just wanted to post that today wasn't a great eating day for me and I am struggling with posting my calories on TDP......I feel good about my choices of food....not like I'm eating chocolate & snackfoods that are unhealthy......but eating alot of healthy food LOL I know if I were to post it on TDP I would be over my calories today.....but as far as choice of food it was good.

I did workout but don't really know how to count the time....LOL we have training yearly on the holds we can use on our students........it lasted an hour, the two girls I work with and I worked on the moves over and over again together...then were skilled out on them......(graded on if we did them according to procedure) .........we all passed.....and I am too tired to walk tonight.......but I wouldn't say it was a continuous hour workout.......I will probably say 30 mins and I will add that tomorrow to the exercise thread.

I am still feeling like I'm on plan since I haven't cheated with bad foods......maybe I for some reason needed more calories today not sure.........it wasn't like I ate all day either! I forgot my lunch today but had a can of beans & some salsa.....so I made a bowl of bean dip and used some flipside crackers....they are 1/2 pretzel ........however I did eat several servings of the crackers and about a 2 cups of beans...........which was more than a serving......so the rest of the weekend I will work towards increasing my exercise as well as maybe eating a tad bit lighter to make up for today.....

ok well I gotta go to bed I keep dozing off while typing this LOL

toodles poodles!

Good Morning Ladies!!!!!!

I woke up this morning at 5am.....made coffee was putting together DH's lunch for work when I got a phone call from a co-worker..........school is closed!!!! last day before spring break!!!!! LOL It rained since yesterday midday......and last night was really severe! So I guess there are areas in our county that are so flooded they closed school!!!! Happy Spring break early!!!! LOL

But.....wait!!!! we still have to pack up our room!!!!!! So I guess we will have to go in sometime today or in the morning to finish packing up the room! at least we wont have to entertain the kidlets while doing it! Should go faster!

Since I'm off today I will hop on the treadmill this am and go as long as I can and see how far that is..........I have my audiobook(which I've been very good about not listening to unless I'm walking on the treadmill) I want to get into the next chapter!!! LOL

I really appriciate all of you for your inspiration on here! I have just been tired of entering mine & DH's calories on TDP daily.......I now know I have to! to keep myself in line! I have a goal and need TDP to help me achieve it! I really feel good about my change in choices of foods.......I really don't have "cheat" foods in the house however I do have loads of "good" foods that I enjoy! LOL so I find myself eating to many calories of good foods.........where I have issues with TDP is when I cook a meal.........I have to figure out how much each serving is....etc....I usually enter my recipe and how many it serves........then I get TDP to do the work........but, its time consuming ya know?

ok I really didn't mean for this post to be a gripe session but oh well............it was.....LOL

OHHH today I am going to take a pic of me in the same pants I have on in my before shot and post it next to it so you can see the difference in the way they fit.........its weird how I'm not in a lower pant size yet my 26's fit me so baggy!!! 24's fit me in the waist and thighs much better and I can get them on.....however I could never wear them to work.......toooooo tight in the abdomen. So I guess technically I fit a 24.....but, I choose not to wear them yet.

I will be online off and on all day today since Im home
talk to you all later on

Good morning Peeps

Heather_dw - look how far you've come - you are doing so well and remember even though it is coming off slower than you would like (I'm in the same boat) you are making life changes. I have a pair of capris I ordered last year - same size as always - I've lost 50 lbs and they still don't fit. I will try them on again today to see if any progress is being made. I felt the same as you - it may be 2 years before I can wear them. Look at you ticker - 56 pounds gone - Heather that is awesome. I am so frustrated with slow losing but what choice do I have? Also Heather we both know that slow is the best way to lose this. Join me in the "Show Me" motto we share - ok?

Bernice - I haven't had trouble posting on TDP - although I don't enter recipes. Glad to see you posting again - maybe the PMs worked! What a nice surprise to have an extra day - enjoy it as a gift! Don't forget to post the pic.

JAR - how great it is to see you -thanks for the congrats!

The Walrus - enjoy your time with you folks.

Debbie - I'm so jealous you were able to work outside - it's rained all week so now I'm not only waiting for some warmer temps but no mud too. I had lots of spring plans - I suspect we may move straight to summer - but that's ok with me too. Gracie has decided she loves the mud so yesterday she had 4 baths - each time she came in. Something about mud on a white lab just doesn't look right. I think I got more exercise lugging her 82 lbs around and fighting to keep her in the tub than I get working out - lol. She loves the water - and the bathtub - just not together.

Debi - so how is the cleaning going? I think today I will tackle the guest room closet and dresser - for someone who wears the same clothes I sure do have a lot of them. I'm hoping to find some treasures that will now fit.

Lauren - did Zack lose 25 lbs in one week? I think your 7 is a fantastic job.

Julee - great job at the WI - hope you are feeling better.

Catherine - did you finish reading? What's next on the schedule once you finish reading it aloud?

Battle - how goes it? Is this a busy time for you? 200 days - that is great. Today is the 7 month anniversary of the start of my journey and I can say I have had less than 10 days that I was not OP - that is mind boggling to me - in the past it would be 10 days OP in 7 months.

Sharon - you know I look every day at that sports car online and always discover something new about it - I'm actually quite excited about it although when I hit the 100 lbs mark it will not be sportscar weather here in the midwest so it will wait until next spring I guess. Wanna go for a ride?

Penny - hugs to you. Hopefully things will settle for you soon. Glad to see you posting.

Annie - hope you are enjoying the visit with your parents.

I have a new quandary - my trainer told me last night no more Sunday workouts for a while. He needs a day off. Sunday has traditionally been my tough workout day - water and land both. I need to figure out how to get myself motivated to workout on my own - not sure what stops me - I have a treadmill at home and the pups would certainly love to go for a nice walk. Once the pool is warm enough for me I hope to continue at home - I think I can motivate to do that.

Move your bodies, drink you water and SMILE.

Hugs,
Carol

Good morning everyone!!
I am trying to have a good attitude today but I was up most of the night with the storms. We have a wet basement again. I never have a wet basement but this is twice this spring so far.
My daughter was at her boyfriends in the northern part of the county and got mad at me for calling her home last night. She kept saying MOM ITS JUST RAINING!! Well when she finally made it home her attitiude had changed. She said roads got so much worse closer to home and they are talking about shutting our flood walls.
THis has been one strange few months weather wise..........our schools would be closed today if we werent on spring break.

carol- I have not gotten half as much done as i had planned on doing this break. I cant do anything on days i have the kids and I prefer to clean when the sun is shinning and all we have had this week is cloudy skies except for wed and i had kids. I am going to try and do some tommorow and i want hubby to carry up our summer clothes..It should be fun trying them on. Hopefully I will have lots that will fit. I know i have some 1x tops in it. My 2x tops are really big now. I think im loosing more from my upper body than my lower..jsut what i dont need to be even more out of portion.LOL

have a great day everyone and say a prayer for me that i can find time in my day to start trying to get my basement dried out again.........

Carol-After reading the whole thing straight through, I think I changed two words. It is now out of my hands. No more changes or re-writes. It has gone to formatting. I don't know how long that takes. I think it gets sent to India for that. I've picked out the picture for the cover. All I've got left is to finish what I want the blurb on the back cover to say. The feeling that it is no longer under my control is a bit scary. It's also scary to think that people I know will read it. I mean I knew people were going to read it, that's what I want, but people are going to "know" things about me that they didn't before. I guess I'm afraid I will be treated differently. He's still afraid that talking about it publicly will make them want to come after me again. I'm like, "bring it on," but he's not quite as confrontational as I am. I'm just afraid that the book is going to make me look like a dweeb or horse's rear end. I was a bit of both when younger.

I'm still stuck in the house. I can't mingle until I have my blood work re-done to see if I'm still immuno-suppressed, and I can't get that done until I get into the doctor. He is in the middle of moving his office. It was supposed to re-open Jan 31st, and then March 31st, and still isn't. Construction is very difficult here now because of labor shortages and building boom. If it isn't open by next week, I'm going to have the shrink fill out the form for the blood work. I go to see him on Monday to start my CBT therapy. I want to go back to the pool.
