Oops, I've been exercising and keeping track of it but I forgot to add it on here...sorry girls...So far I have 135 minutes for the year (and I didn't even get to the gym yet today, I'll have more to add tonight!)...so here goes!

I walked around the mall for 2 hours. I've decided for the new year I'll count 1/3 of minutes from extra-ordinary shopping and cleaning, since my limited mobility has been keeping me from doing those things. So that's 40 minutes to add today.

Didn't post exercise last night, but yesterday and today I went for a 30 minute dog walk. I'm taking a new route with some hard hills, so I'm pretty happy with myself. Personal: 160/900 Group: 2230 + 60 = 2290 |
Okay, I can add my evening workout...I started with 10 minutes on the bike, 11 minutes on the eliptical and 35 on the treadmill...grand total of 56 minutes to add to our group total as well as my own...here we go
2290+56=2346!!!! As obnoxious as this is, I'm going to have to toot my own horn here...My first workout was on Tuesday of this week (since Monday was a holiday, I gave myself a break from going to the gym) and SINCE tuesday I have worked out 191 minutes! THAT'S OVER THREE HOURS in THREE DAYS! I'm so proud of myself, you guys have no idea! Honestly, I'm going to attribute my kick butt work outs to the best christmas present I got this year...my IPod Nano!!! My boyfriend got me one of those suckers and when I'm jamming to my music and I'm on a machine my workouts are more intense and go much quicker. I swear I don't work for apple, but if anyone out there is a huge music person like me, I highly recommend getting one! |

Okay - looks like I'm first today. I did 20 on the eliptical and a brisk .6 of a mile walk to work which I'm counting as 9 minutes because I'm tired of the 1 in my total!

My workout today was 41 minutes of cardio (5 minute warm up on elliptical, then 36 minutes on the treadmill to finish my workout) with 49 minutes of weight lifting in between (today was arms day!)...I'm being very specific with my numbers! My workout total today was 90 minutes! WOOHOO!

WOW, we are cruisin'!
I am visitng my sister in Va Beach this weekend, but this morning, Jeff ad I went for a walk to and from Target, and it took us about 30 minutes each way, so that's a good hour of exercise! Good thing, too, since I skipped my workout yesterday morning with the plan to go walking at lunch, but then it was POURING rain at lunch, so I ended up not being able to go walking at all (since we jumped in the car to drive down to my sister's as soon as I got home from work). If it had been raining and I were just walking at home, I would have gone, but I wasn't about to go get soaking wet and then have to sit at work for the rest of the afternoon. A few days ago (Wednesday I think?) I did 15 minutes of walking. Then yesterday I did an hour on the elliptical, bringing my total to 165.
The group total is now 3,112 + 75 = 3,187 |
ok--i'm a little late this month. i think i'll make a small goal since nov and dec seemed to work against me and i haven't made a goal yet! at least this way i can feel like i accomplished something when i pass it! ;) i think i'll start out with 300 minutes and see how that goes--lori

we've (my friend and i) have been dieting and walking since the 2nd of jan. so thats 4x 30 mins + twice we went at night too, so thats another 60 mins, and yesturday my family went geocaching (hiking in the woods looking for tupperware :dizzy:) that was 2 hours so my total for jan (so far) is 240 mins. kate |
