Molly, isn't your ds 2? about the same as bethany? her birthday is january 23 (or as she says, January timmy-turd) and she'll be 3.

You never know what she'll say. I told mom today that Tank (mydog) Got in trouble to day because he was trying to make Tobie (my other dog) his "boyfriend" Well, After the church WW meeting tonight, Bethany was talking to one of the church Ladies. She said. "Tank was making Tobie a friend" well Thankfully the lady didn't really know what she was talking about, but needless to say, I was quick to change the subject... Oh my

Burrr....it's a cold Saturday morning here. DW just told me that (at around 7:30am) it's -4C (25F) out with an expected high of about 3C(38F). A nice brisk day for a couple hour hike in the park later this afternoon.

Much to my relief, the scale continues to drop and I am about half a pound away from my lowest weight this year and half way to my short term goal. I can't wait to adjust my trackers to show that.

Me? Cheat on the lot of you? No no no. I'd never do that.
And it's not that I forget to post in the morning, it's more like I get up late and/or run out of time before posting. Since I know I have a fan club and that people are expecting it, I'll put more of an effort into making sure that my postings are done on time.

Lemmie know how that turns out, 'cause I might have to get that recipe from you. I like quiche (Does that mean I'm not a real man? ) and that might be one solution to my breakfast troubles as well.

Anyway.....time to grab a shower and get some breakfast.
Stay strong and stay on program, folks.

Good Morning All!

Christina -- I so wish that I could do a menu plan for the week. I am just not good at it. It's like I make a resonable plan and the poof, it all gets tossed out the window becaue I want to eat something else or I forget to take it out of the freezer or I lose track of time and it's too late to cook, etc. Just like I can't get my act together! LOL And sometimes, just letting my husband cook (he knows how to make reservations ) is just so much easier!

WannaB -- (and this is no offense to folks who have done well on the SBD) SB made me sick. Have you done it before? I just wanted you to know one person that didn't like it. I had a really hard time with the two week detox in the beginning because the 'no fruit' clause. When I decided to try the FSD I worried about the detox because of my experience with the SBD. The FSD allows fruit and low-fat yogurt during detox and it helped me get though the first 9 days and lose 10 pounds. Just my opinion and you know what you can do with my opinion if you want! LOL And you story about your DD talking to the church lady -- I so know what you mean! My DD is about to turn 5 and can repeat verbatum (sp?) what we say. We need to be very very very careful! The funny from her this week was when my sister "Ciocia" (Polish word for aunt) gave her her old Cabbage Patch Doll from the 1980's. Well, as you know, there is the little signature on the doll's bottom. I asked DD what she was going to name the doll and she said "Ciocia" because it had a tattoo on it's butt just like Ciocia does!! I'm so glad that my sister decided to show my kids her tattoos!

RX -- on the weight lose! Doesn't it feel great to adjust that tracker! It's the next best thing to seeing the scale numbers drop! Good job!

As for me, today is official weigh in day for me! And the scale showed me down 2 more pounds!!! I am so happy!! Especially because I had those few bad days. It also makes me feel like I am going to make my goal of hitting the magic 100's before Thanksgiving !! I also met a new friend last night (I'm a Pampered Chef consultant and she was a guest at my show last night) and she was telling me that there is a local restaurant that sponsors a weekly running/walking club and invited me to come and walk with her! I was tickled because I have been looking for someone who's serious about doing that exercise walk with me! My neighbor walks with me, but slows me down. I say she mosies! I always say it's amazing how we meet people when we need them! Just like I found this message board when I needed some support! So thanks to all of you too!

Hope everyone has a great weekend and you are all losers! Keep up the good work!

Take care,
Bonnie Jean

Hello everyone!

I'm new and noticed everyone was posting here so I decided to introduce myself here (also in the 100 lbs forum). I'm Carol, 29 years old but I feel I belong in this group instead of the 20s something group. I am a married WAHM of 3 kids. Karolyn-almost 6, Angelina 2 and Jancarlos 1. I live in Toronto, Canada. I run a business selling Avon products and I'm taking correspondence courses on Bookkeeping. So with all this on my agenda you can imagine how hard it is to eat right at home.

My reason for losing weight is so I can keep up with my kids who are really active, and so I can finally feel good about myself. I have been overweight for more than 10 years and now that I'm nearing 30 I want to change. I was missing the motivation in the past but I now have my children to remind me that i need to take care of myself.

I want to really incorporate myself in this community. Do any of you have any tips on how I can get the most from this group. Should I report everyday? I am interested in learing to cook more different and healthy foods, where can I go? I want to get to know all of you and also help you all out on your journeys. I will take a picture of myself now and post it so I can compare when I start dropping pounds. Thanks for listening,

Carol Diaz

Hi All!!

Carol, #1 Tip: Check in Often!! I'm one of the mods on this thread and embarrassed to say that I can barely keep up! I read, but get busy at work and don't always have time to post. Other than that, just enjoy yourself!

BJ, Congrats on that loss! That's nice that you met a new friend! I'm drawing a blank... FSD?

RX, Poutine sounds kinda gross. But maybe not. It's the curds actually, that sound gross. Love gravy fries! Love the costume, my big guy would too!

Christina, Glad the scale's going in the right direction!

Fit, We didn't forget about you!! Sorry you're dealing with ex-DH crap, but it doesn't sound like he's got much of a case.

Michelle, hope the new meds work out. Stinks that they have to change them, if what he's on is working.

Christie, pumpkin pie blizzard?! I didn't need to know they existed!!

Darcy, Good luck with the detox...hope the family makes it through! Great costumes!

Molly, Very cute costume!

Jenny, you and your DD are both gorgeous!!

Stevi, Love all your costumes!

OK, i have to get my arse in gear now!! Have a great day all!!

Lauren you crack me up I didn't know about the pumpkin pie blizzard either...I think it's for the best though.

Bonnie, how cool that you found the walking group!! I'd love something like that!

Carol! Glad to have you with us!! Just jump right in wherever. Some of us are here all the time (too much time on our hands LOL) and some not as often. You can post whenever you want to or need to.

Lawrence. You are too cute. lol You're the only man here and you're popular. What can we say? Great job on the loss!! WTG!

I had a craft show today and it totally sucked! Got no sales. Lots of "oh that cute, pretty, clever (insert your own adjective here)" but no one spent a penny! It sucked all over though, not just for me so that made me feel better. How sad is it that others' misery made me feel better?? LOL Oh well, I'll see how the next one goes. OK I'll check in later. Buh bye!

Hi Guys, Sorry so late! I got up and went to curves this morning...hurried to grab lunch for my crew and had to get my daughter ready for a costume birthday party, she was a pirate! Then I came home and worked out for a hour! My DH bought me a recumdent bike, I love it! I also have a treadmill and a health rider. I have to weigh in tomorrow so I was trying to get in a little extra burning of calories!

Carol!!! Everyone here is super duper nice! I too am a SAHM with 2 kids and I am 29 too. I currently count calories, I got my diet from the Biggest Loser Book, and I drink alot of water, about a gallon a day!!!!

MO3Spuds....It's so exciting to meet new people with the same intrests as you! I wish I could make some new friends here, I've been here for 5years and only have 1girlfriend and she is old enough to be my mother, but I love her to death!

Wanna...Maybe the change in diets is just what you need! I'm excited for you! Good luck with the South Beach! I was on it a while back and lost 10lbs and my stomach got really flat! I just couldn't stick with it! I'm lazy!!!

Mamabear: Sorry about the craft fair, Hopefully your next one will be better!

Rx: Congrats on your weightloss!!! You go man!{Thought if I said Boy you might get offended} Your on a roll......

Missouripie: Your so dedicated! I'm impressed with how well your planning everything out! I need to think about making a menu, then I wouldn't wait to the last min to worry about what to have to eat!

Hi to everyone else!!!!! Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!
