OK, I made myself stay off the computer yesterday... I still only got the basic house work done. Poor DD has some kind of head cold, or allergys, and is a little clingy. Doing pretty good with the points. I went ove 1 point yesterday, and have 11 points left. I feel pretty good though Well see tomorrow night at weigh in.

I went shopping today. I took my "Reunion" outfit back" The shirt had the start of a whole in the seam. (the fabric was very thin) and the jeans were too big. I exchanged it for Better fitting jeans that were $10 less, and a better brand, and a long black shirt that was $17 less. I love this outfit much more then the one I wore, and It was cheaper. Isn't that just the way it goes!!!

Squishy, I will take any thing you WW related that you wanna send. It really modivates me! I haven't got the slider yet, but I am at my moms house. So it will probably be in my box when I get home. I knew you would do good on the SBD! My be when I get down to the last 10, Ill use it to push me over the edge. I could never do it for life though.

LOL Michelle, Love hurts (Kick his butt next time)

Darcy: I feel your pain girl. THat is pretty much where I stand. I was like 180 after my baby in 2004, then dropped down to 160's. I have lost the same weight over and over. BUT (big but) I think I'm on the verge of a break through!! I'd go for the WW if I were you. I think It's a great diet for "the real world"

Default Notice my Ticker!!!!!

I'M DOWN ONE POUND!!! And, believe it or not, I haven't been able to exercise much this week (major project at work), so it's even MORE amazing!

I have enjoyed reading everyone's posts....you guys crack me up! And I LOVE the pictures, too!

Stevi ~ your big boy is precious!!!

Holy ~ I tend to be anemic, too. I take a multi-vitamin AND eat lots of veggies, etc....and I still get refused sometimes when I try to donate blood. Doctor has run all kinds of tests....just the way I am! Make sure all is well with your doc and keep doing what you're doing.

Goddess ~ LOVE the tattoo/bruise! Interesting that it's a heart, huh? AND YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL! I was just telling a co-worker that I just need to ACCEPT those things about me that I don't like that can't be changed! No matter how much weight I lose and no matter how much exercising I do, I will always have fat arms. It's genetic (thanks, mom!). I can love myself through it.

Squishy ~ I'll have to get that book "Taming of the Chew"....catchy title!

Everyone else ~ Hello! and Happy Friday!!!!!!!!!!!

Fondly,
Fit

Hi All,

Stevi, That is just too cute for words!! The look on his face says it all..."What the heck happened just now?"

Michelle, Yeah, Love definitely hurts! Love it!

Cristy, Congrats on the smaller jeans!

Squishy, I hear ya' on the icecream and chocolate....you let me know when you can look at that stuff and see salad, oK?

Hi to everyone else!!

I had to p/u Peter at daycare yesterday AM. He was spitting and hitting and kicking. And that's when they tried to put him in timeout for something else he did wrong. So I called the daycare that I had visited last week and asked them if I could bring him by to check it out. They said OK. Peter loved it. I filled them in on all the details, including the fact that the other place asked me to come pick him up because he was spitting, etc. I'm excited because they have 3 teachers in his room at all times, including one guy, which I think will be great for him. He'll get a lot of individual attention, and a lot of exercise because they have a huge outdoor playground, as well as a big indoor playground! It even has thick padding and fake grass to they feel like they're outside! He seemed to like the teachers, and they thought he was hilarious. The best part is that they have "ParentView", an online camera system so I can check in on him in his classroom anytime I want! Robby will be switching too.

I was online for like 2 hours tring to email some pics to my sister. My husband commented that internet was more trouble then it was worth. (we have dialup, and that all we can get) WELL< I had a thing or two to say about that!!! He is in the process of buying a bike (motorcyle) to save gas, but mostly because its fun. I told him that the internet was more improtant to me that the bike was to him. At first he didn't see the point I was making. His bike will save gas, and is his way to work. Hmmmm, I don't have to drive to work but I sale on eBay, and the internet is my way of keeping up with friends an family!!! DH is very reasonable, and saw my point of veiw very quickly. Its just that I hate to be having PC issues, and feel pressured to get off the computer KWIM????

Dont get me wronge DH and I have a great relationship

Tonight is weighin. It will be @ like 9:00 pm. should I eat supper befor I go?
SQUISHY!!!! Sorry to yell, but wanted you to know I got the slider. YES YES YES!!! I am so so (I say that alot) glad to have it. Thanks Girl!!!

Wow Lauren, That sounds great!! I think the parent view is a wonderful concept. What peice of mind, to be able to "see" them anytime!!! I'm so glad for you, and expecially your boys!!

You GO FIT!!!!!!!

Stevie: He looks soo cute. The down fall is that he looks a little older BUt that may be because his bangs are pushed back. Either way, he is a doll.

Good mornin' ladies!
I can't get these floors any cleaner!!! logan is still getting black smudges on his toes and knees. Arrgg!! Oh, and lets not discuss the CAT FOOD!!! He makes a bee line for it. YUK. Went to the 1st of FOUR baptism classes last night....ZZzzzzZZZzz...lol. There are worse things I suppose. Mostly just alot of parenting suggestions and personal history stories from the teachers. Coolest thing was the old convent it was held in..OOoooOooo. It was on the site of not only DH grammar school but MIL as well. built in the 1920's. Some really cool old stuff. One of the questions was " Who is the most spirtual person you know in your family?" The expected answer was Gma, but DH's only Uncle is Mon Senor Bunny (He's a catholic priest) so he answered as such. " Ok...Bad example, anyone else?" Ha! Funny stuff. Glad U all like his new do, Gma just went all liquid when she saw him last night. (He's the only grand child so far....No pressure eh?)
Fit~ YAY!!!! I just love the unexpected, I didn't have to bust my booty losses.
Lauren~ I'm sooo glad you found a good place for the boys. LOVE the live feed camera! That would give me peace of mind.
Wanna~ Hey, with all the $$$ DH will be saving on gas maybe you all can splurge and get satalite internet? Not to mention the extra $$ you'd be able to make due to high speed transactions. You could post alot more stuff in alot less time! (Just a selling point to DH if you need it)
Goddess~ Kewl bruise! I tend to bruise alot more (I bruise fairly easily anyways, its the skin tone thing) when dieting. I've gotem' everywhere right now.
My Papa called yesterday to ask me if I would paint a potrait for my Ex- Husband ( They are still very fond of each other) I have no idea why he didn't just call me himself, we've been divorced for 7 years now. I told DH its an easy $500, He was like um..NO! Tell him to keep his $$ and find another artist to do it. (Ex is pretty well off) Geez...Bitter much? Its just a job.

Goddess and FIT- congrat on the wt loss! This is the week for surprise losses! That is terrific!

Goddess I am SOOOOO sorry to hear about the DH. THAT SUCKS! I had a jealousy period about 1 yr ago when DH went to a concert with a female who we met at a concert. I dont really dig live music (sorry Stevi!) but he loves it. I was unimpressed. I understand that it is fun to go to concerts with someone and since I bow out its on me right? Well, there was definitely some ego-stuff involved in his feelings so I put the kibosh on that! Grrr! Men! If they are so damn unhappy in marriage then GET OUT and dont mess around with flirtation etc which hurts someone!
Luckily for us, he recognized what was going on and put an end to it after that one concert. Call me insecure but I couldnt deal with that had it continued even if it remained platonic (sp?)

I bet you were hoping to hear a better excuse eh? Did he have one? Did he try explaining ?

Stevi- LOVE the haircut! What a little goober!

Wannabe- nice shopping deal! I have a mountain of things in my car to return from school shopping and it is making me crazy! Gotta just DO IT!

Lauren- you crack me up! My eyes havent deceived me yet and I dont expect I'll ever see chocolate when I look at salad or taste it!

I am down to 164, anotehr 1.5 lbs! OMG! I am starting week 2 of SBD and loving the recipes- I just shopped for week 2's menu. Yippee! I get my massage! (hugging self)

Thanks squishy no he has explained anything
he's alway been heart less no really he has no freaking heart no loving or compasion in his body what so ever for the entire 6 years we've been together i just excepted it because he always told me we balance each other out ( i love everyone and im a VERY touchy feely person I hug everyone and make everyone feel like family) so im just kinda numb right now and re-evaluating my marriage and just seeing if i want to continute this way sigh it's tough my b-day is the 7th of oct and our wedding anv is dec 5th (6 years)
you see he told me he wanted to break up 2 years ago right after my b-day i said fine and found another house for me and my kids ( i couldnt afford the rent at the present one alone) it took me 1 week and i moved out well LOW AND BEHOLD he wanted me back ..... anyways it took a while before i took him back he really hurt me i felt betray'd and worst of all i never saw it coming ...
anyway sorry if it's TMI i was just giving back ground im gonna really do some soul searching right now i think i need to for me and my kids

Anyways sorry for the rambling

Hello ladies. Congrats to all of the *losers* this week!!

Christie~Getting a smaller size, that must have felt GREAT!! WTG! I started back up following WW and I remember now why I liked it! Writing everything down makes me think twice before I eat anything and sometimes that is all it takes to keep me from eating something I shouldn't.

Squishy~Hooray for you!! Enjoy that massage! I agree with your post about not beating ourselves up over what the scale reads, it is just SOOO hard not to sometimes! I try to remember to love thyself, but sometimes when I look in that mirror, it is just so hard to love what I see because that is not the person I feel like inside. I tried the ricotta cheese mixture and I gotta tell ya, I am just not crazy about the texture of that ricotta, but it never hurts to try new things!

Holy~I found that when I tried SBD and cut back on carbs I was very tired at first. I couldn't really stick to it because I just love carbs too much!! I do try to eat them in moderation and choose the right ones, but we all know how that can be.....

Stevi~Logan...what a cutie! He looks so grown up now though! My little one used to love to put the dog food into the water and dunk them, what an awful mess! His other favorite hobby was to sneak eggs out of the refridgerator and throw them over the gate (that I put up to keep him out of the dog food ) in the laundry room and watch them smash on the floor!! YUK!! We then had to make the fridge kid proof, but it did not take him long to figure out how to work that little lock.

Fit~WOW!! Only 13lbs to goal!! Congrats on the loss!!

Lauren~the new daycare sounds so nice!! Can I go??? It sounds like all of you will be happier with your new arrangement, that 'Parent View' is a great idea and that will give you alot of peace of mind too!!

Michelle~So sorry to hear you are going through so much. I hope that you can come up with a solution that is best for you and your kids....I would definately not worry about what this will do to him or his career, none of this is your fault, he made his own decisions and now has to live with them. He certainly was not thinking about what this would do to you while he was out and about. (Sorry, I really have issues with men who do things like this after watching a very close friend try to work through a similar situation) The important thing here is to do what is best for YOU and your kids. All the best to you.

This week was probably not the best week for me to really start cutting back, the old hag showed up and she is a real B*tch this month! I skipped the workout this morning because I was so crampy and miserable. I am sure it would have helped me feel better but I just could not muster the energy. What I would really love to do is put my mouth under one of those chocolate fountain thingys! I will try to keep from doing that though.
Chat again soon!

i'm sorry dangit i didn't finish my post before I hit send.

I ate a cookie and a half today. Ate only half my snack this morning.....made up for it i hope. don't know what's for dinner tonight but I am proud to say that half a cookie this afternoon was just HALF. The director of my department split it with me cuz she knew I was being good.

I'm real emotional right now. Trying to prepare for Tuesday morning's departure. I feel "ok" about it, and I am used to being home alone...i just wish I could spend more time with hubby before he has to leave. He's working on his project tonight, and will be again tomorrow also. I have monday and tuesday off from work...

But I'm proud of my cookie today. Maybe I can make more pasta sauce tonight, and maybe some seafood pasta. I was thinking alfredo shrimp (i bought a big bag of shrimp this week) tonight.

Michelle you hang in there, and seriously, the offer is there. Please come make some cards with us.
