Hi all. I got a new laptop and have been trying to get all my stuff copied over. Been lurking though. I'm almost done.

Stevi, WTG on the losses!! You rock! And I totally understand the all boy thing. The man is like that too. My older son isn't like that at all. He's always been afraid of everything! lol

Great loss Mel!! Congrats!

OK I'm off to finish this $hit. TTFN

Hi all! It is a very wet and dreary day here, so that just sucks the life right out of me.

Squishy~glad to hear you are feeling better. I think that I am going to try to add that benefiber to my AM smoothie. There is absolutely no fiber in the protein powder. Ricotta cheese and cocoa? plain, unsweetened cocoa?? I have never heard of that...might have to give it a try sometime. I am with you on cleaning the kids room! We go my boys room reorganized recently, they built bookshelves with my FIL and they turned out so nice. So, we got rid of the old ones, I made them help too, but that does make it hard to get rid of some things, they just can't seem to let go!

Stevi~screws, snaps, straps, tigers and bears....LOL!! I hate it when there are so many little parts to assemble, hope it turned out ok with no extra parts! Congrats on the inches lost!!! That is fantastic!!!

Christie~yes, only 20 lbs to go, but it has been this way for about a year!!
I gain a couple, then lose them again, it is SO frustrating!! I keep toying with the idea of doing WW at home again, so I am committing right now! I am going to get my books out and get to coming up with a meal plan. I am SOOOO tired of being on hold with the weight loss!

Michelle~Love the expression you used with the point report!!

Mel~WOW!! Congrats on the Inches lost!! WTG on the recent lbs too!!

Well, I gotta get ready for our Parent Forum group meeting. We meet with our Elementary principal about once a month and we work on projects related to our kids and school. Last year we made memory albums for each teacher K-5th grades (4 teachers for each grade), that was fun and it took a while. This year our main projects are a Parent's resource guide, which will give info on all of the programs available at school and other programs outside of school.( like youth soccer, little league, hockey.....) We have a school yearbook, but it is for K-12 and obviously is geared for the HS, so we decided that it would be nice to offer an elementary centered yearbook in addition to the school one. I think that I am going to commit myself to the yearbook project, that will be so much fun!!

Well, will chat again soon!

Nail Lady- I only have a sec before my butt goes on the elliptical but: ricotta with unsweetened cocoa powder. Yes. The original recipe adds Splenda too but the stuff worries me. It is really good! Try it with vanilla too. If I had instant coffee I'd try mocha too. I look forward to it every night now. Sad eh? Like a Pavlov Dog.

Okokok I AM going to exercise now!

Wanna be: I just found my newest slide from 1-2 yrs ago and an exercise slide and a book on Core vs Flex Pts. Do you want all these too? Did you get slide today I sent? It got left in my mailbox until Mon since I got no mail Fri or Sat for pick-up.

Let me know if you can use it all!

Holy- that darn time thing gets in the way all the time doesnt it!!
Being underemployed right now makes any day I dont workout MY fault... lol

Hey! Down 2 lbs! Down 4.5 from the 1st!
Yeh, yeh it is probably all water wt from south beachin' but I feel good and look much better too! I fit in my size 12s again! This spring they dodnt even get up over the ole thighs! I have been tracking my cals on Fitday even though SBD doesnt need that but my cals are low too so I am sure some of the wt is real fat. Since I can still exercise without exhaustion I dont think my glycogen stores are really low as I thought they'd be after lowish carbs. huh?!

I am so glad to be over the hump! I am only .5 away froma massage! I better find a good referral from a friend as to who to go to!

I am meeting a friend of mine for her "power walk" with massive hill included. It takes about 1 hr and is 3.5- 4 miles... ugh! I hope I live! My bum is sore from my recent "issues" so I hope I live! TMI, I know- sorry!

Well, hope everyone has a great day. Looks like a nice weather week before the fall chill comes in.

Goddess-Beach eh! Lucky! We have the sweatshirts out already

Just have a couple of minutes and wanted to check in. Managed to get my lazy butt moving this morning and did some weights, I know that I will feel better for it. My goal for tomorrow is some cardio in the morning and maybe a walk after I am done subbing at school.

Squishy~I am going to give that a try tonight for a treat, will let you know what I think. Thanks!

Chat again soon!

i'm sorry guys, I just couldn't get up this morning. I woke up with a headache (I know that's no excuse but still) but at least i got my clock working. I hit stairs at least 3 times a day, and i'm still walking on my afternoon break. tonight i'll have rehearsal so that should help too. I'm just so tired....but i am staying on eating plan so let's hope that helps also.

Goddess- you are a goddess and I dont think you are crazy. Good for you for even looking lovingly in the mirror. Praise your body for all it does and allows you to do! Weight loss is a very loving thing to do to yourself and no one else will do it for you!

This reminds me of an author who lives locally and wrote The Taming of the Chew. She basically says that beating ourselves up over the scale is not productive ( I need to practice that eh?) but that loving ourselves for who were ARE and then treating ourselves lovingly will ultimately lead to a healthy weight naturally.

Unfortunately for me I so my self-love by eating ICE CREAM and CHOCOLATE but this is actually self-punishment. It is just learning a new way of looking at healthy vs non-healthy foods I suppose. All thru childhood we were rewarded with sweets and eating veggies became a punishment. We have a hard time letting go of this and seeing a beautiful salad or something as love, not deprivation!

Sorry so philosophical. I got on a rant there but you started it! It is good to think this way now and then eh? Exercise the old brain!
