I finally got back on track at the end of June. The first week back was great. I didn't go over my calories even though I wanted to eat more. I walked 10K steps a day and even did 15K steps one day. I drank plenty of water. I stayed on plan perfectly and it paid off. I lost almost 6 lbs. However, the last few days of the month, I started gaining and I'm not sure why. Those first two gains messed with me and I went way off plan yesterday (Sunday, June 30). I ate 4 or 5 cookies, 6 brownies and an ice cream sundae. It was bad. Today (Monday, July 1), I showed a gain of 1.4 lbs. I feel horrible. I want to get back on track but I didn't even make a plan today. I don't think I went over my calorie goal since I didn't eat much. I didn't count my steps either. I'm just feeling like a failure right now. I always feel this way a few days before my time-of-the-month (TOM). I get really tired, hungry (ravenous is the better word), depressed and my self-confidence plummets. I'm in a bad mood and literally anything will make me start crying. Whenever I see a baby or a wedding on TV or on the internet - cue the waterworks. It just reminds me that I'm 35 years old and probably never going to achieve those things. The good news is that as soon as my period is over, I go back to my happy, (semi) confident, normal self. Anyways, I hope to lose at least 5 lbs in July. I just have to get past these next 3-4 rough days and I should be good to go for the rest of the month.

30. 192.4 lbs (TOM) - Ouch! Grandma and Aunt were visiting on Saturday so we had a BBQ. On Sunday, we visited my grandfather in the Twin Cities so we ate at McDonald's for both breakfast and lunch. I ate a lot of junk this weekend. Need to get back on track. Still think I can at least get to 175 by my vacation on October but I can't be having any more bad weeks.
