I just got back home from the doctor and in spite of showing a gain 2 weeks in a row, I am showing a 6 lb LOSS from my last appt! I am SO thrilled! Also, my home scale shows I am at 271 while his shows me at 258. He also commented how he could see how much my body was changing for the better. I AM HAPPY!!!
My BP was unfortunately elevated, and is the source of the headaches I've been having. I've been put on meds (YAY) and he said I will start to feel better soon.
A bit of good news for me! I just had to share it!!
I am getting really tired of being stuck! I am frustrated!! I've been so sick this week so hopefully next week I will show a loss.. A few years ago I was working on loosing weight and I got stuck around 185, and ended up giving up and in turn gained all the way up to 210.. This time I refuse to give up, but the fact that I have been 180 something for a few months is really becoming discouraging..
Thanks, guys! I appreciate the encouragement! I need the motivation.
The good news is that I have lost 22 lbs since April, according to my dr's scale. WAHOO! I may be losing slowly, but that's what he wants me to do. I will say that he is a wonderful, encouraging doctor who doesn't yell. He spends real time with me, too, during visits.
I hope to have a loss to report next week from my scale. Cross your fingers, everyone!!!!
I hope to be 5 lbs lighter by Halloween.
I was going to skip this week, but I need to acknowledge and own it. Ugh. Went out of town with girlfriends for a long weekend and had entirely too much alcohol and yummy food. Back on plan as of yesterday.
Congrats Amber, and to all those with a loss this week!
I ate way too much this week not enough exercise. Grr! Last week was to good to be true. I haven't seen my partner at all last week. I hope she is still in the challenge.

Evaluate your plan. Too many calories? Not enough exercise? Maybe your body figured out what you're doing and you need to switch things up and confuse your body again. Or maybe you just need to wait it out.
For three months this summer, I bounced back and forth between 221 and 223. Seriously majorly frustrating. But I just stuck it out and did what I needed to do. And during that time, my body got more toned, and I was eventually able to add more intense exercise, then BAM, the scale started to move again.
Don't give up! You've already learned where giving up leads. Straight back up. Keep fighting and you WILL win!

Thanks Rochester.. I know, I've changed my calories around a bit and started zig-zagging. I will say that my exercise has not been where it needs to be. I had a back injury that just started feeling better and then got so sick for a little over a week now!! This stall started way before then though..

I love when I see people acknowledge if they gained. (I myself only lost. 0.4lbs this week). I don't LOVE that you gained, I love the fact that you are owning up to it and getting back on track. EVERYONE has a few missteps, the fact that you are acknowledging it and saying I'm goin to keep on shows that you WILL SUCCEED!!! Best of luck!
