Well dang, Pixie, I'm shorter than you are! The last time I saw "merely overweight" was 12 years ago after I starved 20 pounds off me while DH was living in China (for work -not because I kicked him out). That lasted me a whopping 2 months. Apparently starving oneself doesn't work - has anyone here heard that? I was shocked!!!

I chose 183 because it seemed do-able before my brother's June wedding, and my drivers license says 180. That was in 2001, when I got married-so I'm thinking my ultimate goal should be 160ish, but I'm sticking to the 183 for now!

I think my DL says 200. Ha ha. Should I go back and get it changed now?

My heaviest weight was about 260. I lost 75 pounds down to 185 before I got pg w/ DD #3. I have lost weight since then but got preg with DD #4 before reaching 185. I have pics on my bedroom mirror of me in a bikini at 230, 220, 212, 200 and 185. I stare at those 185's every day. So, after Onderland, 185 is my next goal for that reaon. It's a magical number.

there are calculators like this one all over the internet.

your magic number is 185, 'cause you are 5'6" like me.

As you can see by my ticker, my heavy weight was also 260, in May of 2009.

I was hoping to hit 160 by May 2010, but I burned my foot badly in December and I was laid up for 6 weeks (and gained in the process, bad time of the year to be ailing, everyone gave the pastor's wife snacks!)

Hi MelO. I just go to: http://www.bmi-calculator.net/ and start plugging in weights until it says I'm in the overweight range, and then the normal range. Hope this helps - you're almost in Onederland! It'll be almost no time before you're there.

Hello all!

I could really use this challenge. I'm 209 right now, and I would LOVE to get below 185! 180 is actually a really good wt for me, like I can see the light at the end of the tunnel :-)

Since I'm military, I don't have to get a new DL until I leave the service or am back in CA for more than 90 days. My DL is from 1994 and says I weigh 150...

In AZ your DL is good for like 45 years. I don't even know when mine expires. It says I weigh 235.

Overweight would come at 158 for me....ugh! I am not going to think about that today. Today, I am happy because I am down 2lbs in the last 2 days after a frustrating plateau!

Congrats on the great loss BeachBreeze! I'm in the same boat with you on being short. Even getting to be overweight seems insurmountable, but I can do the mini-goals, and eventually we'll get there!

I'm in! 185 was as low as I got the last time I attempted this, but it wasn't really 185. LOL! My scale weighed me a good bit less than the doctor's scale...maybe 15 lbs. Put it this way....sitting here at right around 200 I'm wearing the same jeans I wore with equal roominess as I did back then. So this time I'd love to get there for real! (I have a new scale. ) AND just 11 lbs after that gets me to overweight!

You sweet thing. You just made me feel better. I look at all these tall girls and I'm so jealous! But I guess I'm tall to some, huh?
