Sacha--glad to see you were able to take a break from your busyness & "stop in!" I'd been wondering about you! (-; I'm so happy for you in your size 12's. I'm in mostly 12's, and just a few 14's. Can't wait to kick all those 14's to the curb! (-;
Jenicra--I think it's awesome that your motivation is still running high! I SO wish I'd have been motivated in the months preceding my wedding....perhaps then I'd like the pictures a bit more (eeeee). But, still, it was a beautiful day.....can I get re-takes when I reach my goal? Hee hee. (-;
Have a wonderful weekend all!

Yay Sacha! I think noticing the changes in how your clothes fit you is way more gratifying than seeing numbers on a scale.

Thank you girlies! I love you all!

Jenrica----I have absolutely no doubt that you are going to reach your goal weight quicker than you think. You are soooo motivated and that is great! Keep up the good work alright?

Jen---- Another pound gone...Good feeling uh? I am proud of you. You are so back in buisness girl!

I've decided that the next time I will feel 'unmotivated' I would go shopping. You should see the smile on my face right now! It is so great to try new clothes that I couldn't wear when I was heavier. And also, I have more than one place I can go shopping! Yesterday I bought this incredible pair of jeans. They look great. I also bought a white tank top that I will wear under a sexy turquoise polo t-shirt that you leave unbuttoned. All this at American eagle outfitter. (don't know if you have this store in the States, but it's great) You should've seen my fiancé's eyes! He's cute...

Ok ok, I know you do not really care about my shopping experience so I'll just go! *giggle*

have a wonderful weekend everyone!

Sacha

Hey 20-somethings.. can I join you all??

I am really just trying to get back into the swing of things. I lost 30 pounds already, I just need to keep going! My problem is that I am addicted to food. There. I said it. I don't smoke or drink or do anything else addictive but eat unhealthy food. If someone puts a hamburger in front of me, I don't have the self-control to say no. I just don't. It's sad, but I always fall and then I just say "Ohh... what the ****.. I give up. I'm never going to lose weight like this anyway. Give me that Snickers." instead of saying, "I'm going to buy these size 10 capris because I'll be able to fit into them by Memorial day weekend!"

I really need some focus! Ok, thanks for listening - I mean, reading!

Hey there Gracenote - welcome!!! Congrats on the 33 lb. loss, that's so great!
Sacha - I know exactly what you mean about shopping. I went shopping for the first time since November last Friday. I walked away feeling so wonderful! I walked into the store wearing a belted-to my waist size 22 and walked out in a comfortably fitted 16. It was so funny, because I felt like I needed to call someone and tell them about it, then I realized what I really wanted to do was "call" everyone here! It's so true though! This site is so helpful for me. If I'm feeling crappy, I just go here and browse. It keeps me from eating the kitchen, it keeps me exercising, it keeps me motivated. You girls are wonderful (Gracenote, I'm sure you'll find this to be true as well). What a wonderful, wonderful idea.
Jen: You know, you CAN retake your photos! That would be really exciting, once you hit your goal weight, maybe for a milestone anniversary (5 years, 10 years or whatever) you and your DH could "retake" some wedding photos. Of course it's not the same, but you'd have photos of another special time between the two of you that you felt like you could be proud of completely.
