I am so in! Though I'm actually hoping to lose most of those 10 lbs before new years day- I want to have lost 9 lb by the 21st of December. I'm having a christmas party on the 22nd and want to look amazing in a little black dress! Anything I lose after that would be a bonus. Here's my starting weight and my goals:
30.11 Start: 135
03.12 Goal: 134 (Hit it! 134 exactly this morning) 10.12 Goal: 131 (Missed it by a pound- 132 this morning) 17.12 Goal: 128 (130. Disappointing, I got to 130 last Wednesday and then stalled)
21.12 Goal: 126 (Little black dress day!)
24.12 Goal: 125
31.12 Goal: 122 (Probably optimistic given my love of christmas food!)
Im in! im 250 right now so itd be nice to be at 240.
11/30: 250
12/3 Goal: 248 still 250 but I didn't lose but I didn't gain either!
12/10 Goal: 246 (omg scale was wrong! 3 lbs off so that means i started out 3 lbs heavier) but i went down to 243.8!
12/17 Goal:244 well i weighed again and im at 238.8
12/22 Goal: 242 Well i am 235.8 Yay! Im so happy!
12/29 Goal:240 235.8 well now it doesnt feel like i was 15 lbs heavier a month ago, but i was im so excited just to actually finish a challenge!

I'm just getting back on the wagon after slacking off for 2 1/2 months, so I don't know how possible it is, but I'll most certainly try to join you for 10 lbs. I'm a week late, so I suppose whatever my weigh-in on Monday is will be my start point.
Edit: Scratch that...I decided to use my December 1st weight as my start...The likelihood of making the first week's weigh in is low, but hopefully I'll catch up later on...I had a lucky weigh this morning (probably water), so maybe my luck will continue.
12/1: 156.1 lbs
12/3 Goal: 154.1 lbs Actual: 154.5 lbs (missed, but considering that my "week" was 2 days, that's to be expected...in other news: HEY, NORMAL BMI. I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU IN YEARS!)
Reaching for the stars, probably not happening goal: 145 by New Year's. Starting the year with 5 lbs to lose as opposed to the almost 60 I was trying to ignore at this point last year would be reeeeally nice.

Is HotaruChan a reference to Sailor Moon? (I used to love that show). Anyway, the rate we were going to try and lose weight is 2 pounds a week so I guess eight pounds by New Year may be more realistic for you. It is totally your choice though! Welcome to the thread!
No, not Sailor Moon. "Hotaru" means "firefly" in Japanese. Firefly is my favorite TV show ever, and I've been studying Japanese for a while (though living here has made me realize that I need to study a lot more...reading is tough >.<), so it's my go-to username. If Hotaru is taken, I generally add the -chan which essentially turns it into "little firefly."
I'm sure that 8 is more reasonable, but I'm going to tell myself that it's 10 so that I overshoot rather than undershoot. As long as I lose *something* I won't be especially disappointed.
I've had a difficult fluxuating week up and down, with some killer water weight, I've busted hump at the gym Past two days so I hope this week brings some losses
GRRRR!!! Sometimes I hate that I weigh everyday >_< My weight has been fluctuating for the past forever I swear! I refuse to change my ticker b/c Im blaming it on TOM plus water. Ive reduced my sodium, been very good w my eating and kicked up exercise! If I don't see a lower number tomorrow I.might.scream!!!
Contemplating buying prune juice...lol, but seriously.
I am in the same boat with you ladies, I feel like I am carrying around a gallon of water in my stomach. Ugh I hate TOM, hopefully my weigh-in goes well tomorrow. I've been working pretty hard at the gym I just hope it shoes
My weigh in was 163 this morning so slightly higher than my ticker but on target for ten pounds by new year. TOM is next week so I have no idea how things will fluctuate.
Well I gained 2lbs during the week due to TOM but thankfully shed 3 at today's weigh-in. Just realised I lost a pound! Thought I had just maintained, yaay loss!

Ok! I can give an official weigh in now that tom is over. I was 269.6 this morning! Yipee!! Well my goal shall be 260/259 by the end of the month I suppose. Yikes, don't know if I'll make that... gonna try!
Everyone with water weight issues!!! When I feel like I have lots of water I drink diet cranberry juice. It's still a little too much juice for me so I do like 4 parts juice 1 part water.
