Hello ladies, would love to join this group..need some motivation! I'm currently in a sticky situation as I'm away from home for the next two months and have no access to a scales, so super paranoid about keeping my eating in check! On the plus side though i'm doing way more exercise than I usually would so fingers crossed by the time I go home I'll have lost at least 10-15 pounds... looking forward to getting to know you all, well done everyone on progress so far

I did a big workout this morning I ate a chicken quesadilla yesterday at the bowling alley all I ate was breakfast so I was starving. I figured working out longer today would make me feel better lol I feel amazing and I burned 400 calories today.

@chloe I wish I could be saying that to!!

@Buckkeepblue I would hate not having a scale available to me Im like addicted to weighing myself before I was scared to see my weight but now I weigh myself like 3 times a day lol I cant wait to see how well you've done so far!

Night- Congrats on your loss so far!!!

Buckkeepblue - I understand your paranoia but like you said it's a huge plus that you will be exercising more than you are used to! It's good because you can focus more on your body changing and when you get home you might be surprised what will pop up on the scale!

Sammie- That is awesome you have burned that much with your workout today! I do the same thing if I feel like I have overeaten or such, I always just workout more intense the next day lol.

I did my two P90X workouts for the day and logged my meals into MFP. I'm pretty sore needless to say but I am more energized than I have ever been in a while! I need to start a search for healthy dinner recipes, breakfast and lunch are always easy but I want to make something yummy and healthy for dinner for the hubs and I.

Helloo everyone...
to those who are working out real hard: sammie, pink hurricane, buckkeepblue, congrats ,, I need the inspiration... im very lazy when it comes to working out but ive started going for regular brisk walks daily and hopefully will incorporate more routines!

Was invited to.a dinner party.. Those are the hardest... Guilty of devouring a slice of cake and some pudding... But will try to get in 3 extra laps during my walk tomorrow... I really need to step up my game!!

Sammie and Pink - well done on your workouts! I love how much better you always feel after exercise, it really relaxes and clears the head!

hamlette That was a really insensitive thing of that woman to say, don't take it to heart though sometimes older people are just like that! And the hardest part with exercise is always the start..it will get easier, try do something you enjoy

Hamlette try not to take it to heart. My grandma has called me fat even when I was losing weight. My sisters sons grandmother made a comment to my sister she said " if her husband really loved her he wouldnt let her get that way" Talking about my husband and I. I wanted to slap her in her face. Im not that over weight but she sure did make it seem like I was. I just brushed it off.

Nightprowler What is NSV's? Im sorry I have no idea what it is or means

Has anyone been getting extremely tired? I noticed after I workout I feel great but by the time noon rolls around I am so tired I have to take a nap and sometimes Im so tired I sleep for like 4 hrs! I set my alarm and im so tired I hit snooze. I do not like sleeping like this. Any suggestions on what I can do to help keep me energized and not so tired?

Hope everyone is having a great night!

Pinkhurricane Im glad your doing great! I wish I could have some of your energy lol Ive found low calorie meals that I do. None of them are over 300 calories and pretty yummy too Do you eat the same meals weekly? I read that you shoud eat the same meals weekly. I do it and it seems to be going great. I chane up breakfast and snacks. Usually I just have fruit for breakfast. I like to have light yogurt to. What do you do?

hey ladies- drowsiness is lacking of energy (as in not enough cals). try to eat something with complex carbs before the workout, and slow digesting proteins after.
