Hi everyone I am new here. Just joined yesterday and this looked like a good forum (20 somethings) to join. I started eating right and exercising 3 weeks ago and have gone from 240 to 123.8 as of this morning. It wont let me post a before picture but I will as soon as I get a couple more post in. 116 I wish lol. The 16lbs Ive lost is probably attributed to not drinking soda anymore. I was never a big eater but I was an unhealthy eater. But the amount of mountain dew I was drinking was just ridiculous. I was probably drinking in calories everyday what a grown man was eating everyday. I have tried to stop drinking soda in the past but I would always relapse after 2 days. This time I dont even find myself wanting one. I now drink the Crystal Light Wild Strawberry that has caffeine in it.

I love the lemonade and pink lemonade. And, in the vein of what we were discussing in the other thread, crystal light lemonade and vodka is an awesome low cal drink.
Really though, that's great that you've identified where your excess of calories were coming from. I've really moved away from drinking my calories, I never have real soda or juice but I occasionally (obvs) drink alcohol and a glass of milk sometimes in the morning. I think soda is one of the worlds biggest problems. I have had friends who chug like 2 2 -liters in the course of a day, every day, like they think it's diet soda in a regular soda bottle! I love the occasional dr. Pepper but I hate diet dr pepper so for now I'm just going cold turkey on the stuff. Unless I want one can of dr. Pepper instead of food for lunch. Never the case welcome girl!
Ive never really been a big juice drinker but luckily for me I can actually stand the taste of the wild strawberry. I would just drink plain water but Ive given up many a diet because of withdrawl headaches from no caffeine. So hopefully Ill eventually work up to plain water after I lose a little more weight. Thanks for the idea about the lemonade and vodka, I seriously never would have thought about drinking crystal light with vodka but next time I go out I think I am def going to try that.
