148!!! yayyy!!!
|
I've been bouncing from 145 to 149 since the middle of March, and I'm ready to get back on track and stick with my calorie counting to get to 145 and stay under that! I feel like it's so close yet so far away! I have to stay on track and only weight myself at my regular time ONCE a week, which is really hard to abide by! But I know myself and that I take the number to hard emotionally and let if affect me so I gotta stick with it! :) Good luck everyone...

TOM weight is dropping off. Back to 155 today. Hurray!
|
Keep it up ladies!
|
I just got the rest of that post-TOM whoosh, I think. I'm down to 153 today... It probably won't stick around, but hey! it's here now, so I'll enjoy it!
I'm getting close to being a clinically normal weight! Hurray! Everyone else is doing awesome, it looks like! Congrats, guys! |
141.6 .. i'm soo close!!!!
but .. i'm skeptical.. a while back my scale was on the fritz. both my boyfriend and i stepped on it and it kept changing numbers, like it was short circuiting or something (amidst all the craziness it was also weighing us about 30 lbs lighter). so i flipped it over and was trying to get the battery out to replace it, but i couldn't get it to budge. oh well, so i put it back and stepped on it for it to "reset" like some scales do and get their bearings. then i stepped on it and it was calm and weighing me normal. i took a 20 lb weight that we have and put it on there, it weighs 21.2 (the bar and clamps might equal 1.2 lbs) do i trust this thing? is it back to normal? get a new scale? i'm psyched about my low weigh in today..but only if its legit!! lianna great to see your TOM weight drop off~ i'm almost there myself..i got a few more days. i hope i don't swell up. |
val, after all that hoopla, I might just get a new scale if I were you!
|
i probably will rainy, im crazy. if my new one weighs me much higher i might have to lie in bed crying for a whole day though..
|
valalltogether: Wow, you're toeing the line of the 130s! That must be SO exciting! CONGRATS!
And as far as getting a new scale, I hear you. It can be rough, especially if it weighs you higher than the old one (I got a new one and 'gained' 7 lbs). But maybe the consistency will be worth it? --- -sigh- I mentioned before that I'm going on a long trip with some friends. I just realized that I'll be the heaviest girl going by at least 40 lbs. The only other girl who's close to my size can't go (dammit - I need the solidarity). That means that when we go to beaches (and there are a LOT of them), or shopping, etc., that I'll be the fat one yet again. I'm taller and larger than all of them (by a minimum of 3 inches and 40 lbs), so I stick out like a sore thumb. I hate that feeling. Especially when I know a couple of them stick close so they look skinnier next to me. They're not trying to be mean - it's strategic, I guess. But it's harder on me sometimes. Oh well. It's been like this my whole life. What's another few weeks of it on the road? I'll just have a good time and let my flab fly free. ;) |
I agree with the new scale, better to be certain.
After randomly going up over the weekend, while being on plan I'm relosing the low 145's so I was at 145.2 this morning |
Great torito!val, I think any of us would, but it'd drive me crazy not to know if it were always as accurate as possible. Just throw the old one off a tall building if the new one weighs you higher ;)
I was feeling soooo tired earlier, so I went to the gym and had a great workout--energy is mostly restored, and I found out I maintained through my birthday dinner and drinks this past weekend, so hooray for me! |

because here's the thing..i weighed the 20lb dumbell on it a long while ago and then just after it had it's seizure and the weight is the same for it. and thats something i can count on to be the same weight as measurement. so i guess its fine?? and also lianna, let that flab fly! lol. you have a good attitude about it, what's a few more weeks? i doubt you "stick out" as much as you think you do, though.. |
Regarding all the anxiety I've been having lately, here's why: http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/weig...=trial&ncoap=1
Just thought I'd share since I'd mentioned it a few times. I feel so tense right now, it's hard not to overeat, and my feelings change from hour to hour with the anxiety. It's all very draining :( |
Congrats to everyone for doing such a great job! :)
Two weeks ago I was 155. Last week I was 156...blech... This week I'm 153.8! So without clothes I'm basically 153-ish. Come summer I won't have that scale to weigh myself anymore though. Anyone have any suggestions for a good scale that isn't too expensive? Think college student graduating and hoping she survives kinda cheap. |
Man. Up to 154.8 again. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
