I've done Last Chance Workout as well, it's tough! Lots of sweating in that one

Today has been alright. A quick, but good interval workout. I think I'm eating too many carbs. My calories are in the right range, but I still feel puffed up. I'm going to try and bring them down a bit this week and see if it helps. Maybe more raw veg or something... Anyway, hope everyone is having a good weekend!

Linds- Lady sounds, well, very lady-like. I should have named my big lug "monster" I tried Cesar Milan's techniques (I love his show and bought several seasons of it plus bought his books). His way of working with dogs, however, just doesn't work with Pyrs (I'm sure he would disagree with me but IMHO and after talking to Pyr breeders and Pyr owners they've all said the same). Pyrs are very, very independent dogs and have been bred over the centuries to make choices without human direction. I knew that getting into the breed but knowing it and experiencing it are two different things (having owned Akitas, Labs and German Shepards I thought I would be a good at "owning" a Pyr...sometimes, not so much). I will look into the gentle-leader you mentioned...he has a no-pull chest harness (which helps somewhat).

Sorry for the dog diversion...I'm avoiding work.

I hope you got your massage, Linds. Last chance workout is around 35-40 minutes (you can always add upper and lower body sculpt to it to make it longer if you want).

Ok, back to work. Have a good day everyone!

sweet- Wow! Sounds like your dog is a challenge, but those are sometimes the best dogs! You'll have to post a picture sometime! I'll do the same. I'm such a sucker for dogs! love them! Hope you had a good day working!

I got a quick massage from husband. I think we need a new matress. I'm convinced that it is contributing to my lower back pain. They are just so expensive!

Linds- My pup is a LOT of work but I love him...he is currently howling like a Husky at the fire trucks passing by (lol). Once I get my camera's pictures developed I will post a picture of him for sure....he is cute as a button, which he knows and uses to his advantage. I'm a sucker for dogs too so share your pups' pictures when you get a chance.

Matresses are super expensive. But, when you think on it, you spend more time on your mattress than any other location most days....it should be comfortable and a purchase you should make.

I wore one of my new tops today and got a lot of compliments! Not so much about losing weight, but that it made me look attractive. It was nice, but my very first thought was, "Geeze guys, it's not the shirt, it's that I've been working my butt off..." Oh well, it was nice either way I guess. Hoping my official weigh in today is a 14-something so I can wear my new perfume! I've been waiting all weekend, and patience is not one of my charms Happy Monday everyone

Jessica- congrats on the compliments! I'm sure the people just can't quite pinpoint what exactly it is that is making you look so good just yet, which there is nothing wrong with a little mystery! Fingers crossed for a good weigh in for you!

I am not really weighing or calorie counting crazily right now. I am focusing on eating healthily as much as I can and getting in lots of activity. I feel like I need a break from the madness! It is my goal to be 139 by the end of July and I think I should be able to do that with these tactics! We shall see.

I just came in from spending a few hours on the deck with my man and drinking a glass of wine. It was blissful!

Hey everyone! Had a rough time this weekend! On Friday we had pizza and wings... but I was able to keep it limited to 2 slices (cut like rectangles not triangles) and 4 wings. The next day I maintained at 151. On Saturday, we had an awesome early dinner of steak and strimp and broccoli and red skin potatoes. But then at night we had people over and I ate tortilla chips and salsa. (I'm noticing a weakness trend around tortilla chips!). But surprisingly on Sunday I was at 150.8. THEN to top it off had a double birthday party yesterday including a cookout and cake. The cake was awesome. I'm super happy that today I'm at 151. I made it through the weekend. But I'm sick of the 151 number... gotta get back on plan and get my butt to the gym.

How was everyone's weekend?

I want to see pictures of your doggies!!

Has anyone ever been sky diving? There is a special on groupon today for it. My Fiance wants to do it. And so do I... always have. But I'm scared!

Missjessica - Yeah it really seems like weight loss + new clothes bring out the compliments! I'm sure your coworkers were just seeing you in a new light.

Congrats on the new number Tropica!!! 150.0 lbs is a major mental barrier!

I'm at 156 no surprise due to my horrible eating habits last week.
