Stella my sister got me hooked on rent last year. We finally got to see it in Oct or Nov. I'm excited because Neil Patrick Harris directed this one. Will be loads of fun!

I'm at my WW meeting. Down 1.6 lbs! Body must be liking eating clean especially after how bad I was this weekend! I'm only 8.8 lbs from no longer being overweight! I hope everyone has a wonderful night!!!

I went for a 40 min. jog without feeling like I was going to die! Woo!

We had a slight "cold" front go through and the temp was actually below 90 and there was a slight breeze. Not too bad.

I've heard of two people dying this week from heat stroke while running. Scary!

^good for you, i really need to start running again. I used to be quite the runner.

Today was ok, i made it to -30 which i am really happy about...but i just started getting overwhelmed about how much i have to lose still. Can't ever have a day away from that. I met up with a friend, and had some celebratory wine, and then dragged myself to the gym. Wasn't a pleasant workout. I had planned to skip (or i would not have drank!) but i started getting so worried about gaining any weight and went. Oh well.

Cataclysmic: Congrats on the 30 lost!! That's a huge accomplishment!

Casey: awesome job at the 40 minute jog!

Ashley: Awesome job girl!! Congrats!

So our counter top was supposed to be delivered to Lowe's today, and it wasn't. We got the manager to call them tomorrow to see what the heck happened, but most likely we won't he having a counter top and a kitchen sink for yet another. freaking. week. They only deliver on thursdays. This will be week THREE without a sink. I'm so tired of eating wawa hoagies and just not having enough fruit and protein and the like. I just want a whole kitchen to cook in!!

And since I haven't been eating right, I just pigged out on a bowl of dry cereal. and a frozen snickers bar. I'm trying to hang out with Greg tomorrow so I can mooch another home made meal off of him hahaha. But tomorrow once I'm done work at 1 I'll be living at the gym so I'll feel better tomorrow.

Good Morning Ladies -

HAPPY FRIDAY! WE MADE IT!!!!

Unfortunately its wayyyy too early to be up on my day off but that's what happens when you have 4 dogs to house sit for that are on a schedule.

I got here last night and there was NO food and needless to say what WAS available wasn't the best. I had a GREAT workout with the trainer last night and I could tell a big difference in my attitude which made it a completely different work out from Monday night. And I ate before I went so I was feeling a lot better!

I'm going to try to convince my work out buddy to do a cycle class this afternoon. Although its called "Cycle and Balance" so I have no what that means. I couldnt find the description on the gym website.

I actually get to swing by MY house for a few to see my furry love and pick up some clothes... and there will be a small grocery trip so I have something to eat and HEALTHY stuff here for the rest of the weekend.

It's been a long week, I'm ready to get back into MY bed.

I HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT DAY!!

Feral- Good morning!! Glad to hear that your housesitting is almost over

Sooooo I however did NOT sleep well last night. I was hot and everytime I woke up it was always something, either I felt like I was gonna throw up, or rain was coming in the window, or my baby was crying. Sigh...I am absolutely exhausted and I still have 3 more days of work before I get a day off to semi-relax. BUT I need the money and have been making quite a bit so its all worth it. Going to brew myself some coffee and get a work out in later before I have to run around at work.

Good morning! YAY for Fridays!!!

Casey and Stella - I think i didn't word my last comment appropriately. Of course portion control always plays a part in healthy eating. I guess its just easier for me not to have to do any weighing of my food or counting calories, fat grams, points etc. With SB you eat six times per day, which I think helps keep portions on the smaller side with out purposefully making them that way. Also, if you eat protein and fiber packed foods, you feel full longer so you'll eat less at your next meal. Thats what I meant by the right foods. We all to find what works for us. I think that is the most important step in the weight loss journey.

I'm super excited for the weekend! DH, little one and I will be going to dinner tomorrow night to celebrate our 2 year wedding anniversary. Its a family owned Italian restaurant and I am going to have a cheat meal (I never cheat.) I'm also going to wear one of my new dresses! Then on Sunday we are talking little one to a kids museum and I think he will have a blast!! I can't wait to see how much fun he has!

On another note, I've lost 1.5 inches off my hips in 2 weeks! Apparently the 4 pounds i've lost recently all came off of my hips! SCORE!

I hope everyone has a fabulous Friday!

Yay for Friday!

Jenn: I totally get what you are saying. There is just something about counting calories that makes me feel in control and I feel like it's something I need at this point. I can't wait until I'm maintaining and I don't have to be so strict. However, in order to lose, I know from experience I have to be very strict with my calories.

Tonight one of my favorite local singers is playing in town. I can't wait. You guys should check him out. RandallShreve.com He is amazing. I love his music.
The bar he is playing at will be ridiculously hot, it's like a sauna, maybe I will sweat off a few pounds haha.

I hope you girls have a lovely Friday

Happy Friday! Rent day (the musical, not money rent) in Hollywood!

Casey - way to go on that jog! and have fun seeing your favorite singer.
cata - congrats on 30 lbs! That's a huge accomplishment.
Samantha - thank you! Good luck with the kitchen! It would be so easy to fall off track without a working kitchen. You are doing great!
Feral - let us know how that "Cycle and Balance" class goes! I'm interested to hear about it!
bl - Happy Wednesday? :/ I hope you catch up on sleep!
Jenn - sounds like you have a fun weekend planned!
nina - perhaps it's muscle gain! Have you been drinking lots of water?

As for me, I'm doing well. only 8.8 more lbs until I'm considered a healthy weight for my height. Going to see rent with the mom and sister tonight, so I'm really excited. We are hitting up Soup Plantation for dinner, which has an extensive salad bar and fruit bar and some soups that'll be pretty diet-friendly. I just have to make the right choices (won't be totally clean [I've been eating clean this week], but will be better than if we went to Italian!). Tomorrow is a beach party and I'll be bringing my own cooler full of goods, so that shouldn't be too bad. All in all, it's looking pretty good. I was really surprised at my 1.6 lb loss last night (Weight Watchers meeting). I had an off plan weekend and an off plan meal on Tuesday, but M-Th otherwise was considered completely clean. Lots of water. No soda (started out with regular soda addiction, then when I started in July I only drank diet soda...that became quite an addiction..haven't had soda since Sunday). So I'd say it's been a good week overall. I already have more energy.

And good news - my pants feel loose...like I have to keep pulling them up. I feel like 6.6 lbs is too few to have that result, but I'm not gonna argue with it! They used to fit snug, but now I'm thinking I need a belt. YAY!

Ugh, I had a horrible morning. I think I'm going to spend a week trying to maintain my weight and not worry about losing. I just need to eat something to make me feel better. I know how bad this is, I know.

Next week will be better.

5 Gin and Tonics last night FIVE

BUT, I had a fantastic time. I love Randall Shreve (randallshreve.com). He's a local singer. I feel like the world is missing out... he is amazing.

I don't feel terrible today.. I will be eating super clean, and I will be going for a jog later

And don't worry that won't be happening again for a long long long time. I don't even really like to drink, but for some reason I felt like it last night, and I just kept them coming lol.
