My scale said 178 this morning, but I am not totally convinced yet, just yesterday I was at 180. So we shall see if this sticks and then hopefully I will be officially joining this thread!!!! YAY!!!
I'm excited about starting October. September wasn't a great weight-lose month for me. I only lost 7 pounds because I eat out alot and ate badly. I have like 4 birthdays and my wedding anniversary this month! Nothing to celebrate in October, so my goal is to eat clean the entire month and lose 8-10 pounds!
ilovescience, thanks for the advice! I actually went up to about 174 which was a pain, but then I did a fasting day (I went from dinner on day 1 to dinner on day 2 eating nothing, just drinking tea and water and then a normal dinner and back on plan), which did WONDERS for me. It was water weight I'm sure, as I dropped to 170.5 after my fasting day and then to 169.8 this morning. I don't trust it yet, but nice. The fast made me feel better, too - less bloated. I won't do it often (love food!), but I think it's a nice cleanse thing once in a while.
As of today I'm about 169.6 to 169.8, so I don't trust that I'm out of the 170s yet, but we're close! If I'm under 170 on my official weigh in day, I'll start hunting for the 160s thread! I haven't been in the 60s since a few years ago when I got my licence.
I love these threads for the 10lb marks. They're nice small goals and everyone is so great!
Got on the scale this morning for my official weigh in and I am at 174! Yay! I feel like I just got into the 170s but hopefully I will be moving on out soon!
Still 174. I lost pretty quickly last week, so I think this week is just evening things out. Gotta make it to the gym today!
I was at a departmental retreat last weekend, and while I think I was eating within my calories, the quality of food was just awful! French toast and pancakes for breakfasts, processed cheese sandwiches for lunch (the only veggie option). I was constantly hungry! It's nice to be at home and able to eat food that keeps me full and happy!
Back at 179.2lbs this morning. Finally! I have been so lazy and eating like a pig, but I am glad that I am slowly but surely getting that back in control. When I get back to a normal work schedule, I will be able to go full throttle with the workouts and eating.
Hi All...I'm new here! I have been stuck in the 170's for a few weeks now, but I have made a few changes and hopefully I will be saying buh bye to the 170's soon!
A billion months later (maybe more like one?) I'm still around 168-171. I've banished my scale for a week though, so going to see if I can go scale-less for awhile longer.
