Hey Ladies! I'm still with you guys on this however I pulled a muscle this weekend and am having to lay low until it stops hurting. Stupid groin muscle... hurts to walk currently so there is no way I'm about to try to jog.... but I'm dying to get week 2 started!

Just finished W3 D2. Physically it's completely doable- it's not like I'm almost not making it or anything, but mentally I seem to be having a hard time with it. I'll probably stick W3 out for a few more weeks.

Feral, I hope you heal quickly! Pulled muscles are the worst... take care of yourself.

Thanks Paja!!! I'm actually feeling MUCH better today. Probably won't run until at least Friday, but there's improvement!!!! It was a BIG owwie!

Hang in there!!!! You can totally do this. Do you have a TV or something to watch/good music? I find I have to go into a place in my own head... and just be there. Then again you're a lot farther than me!!!

Did another Week 2 Day EPIC on Saturday. Having guests is hard on me (both mentally and schedule-wise), so the run was the only time I had to myself all weekend. It's so much fun to do a loop like that instead of the out and back I have to do when I'm training normally.

Feral, are you back on your feet again? Also, to answer your question, I run in the great outdoors (*scoff*), and my neighborhood isn't the safest, so no music for me...

W2D1 today. I fell behind a bit due to traveling/foot blisters/etc but I'm going strong now!

Can I join in? I'm not doing the official program, but I am signing up for a 5K on April 25th and I have a ways to go before I'm ready! I jogged for 27 min today without stopping, but that was only two slow miles, lol. I would like to do the 5K in less than 35 min, so I have to work up to an 11 min mile from my 13-14 min miles, plus add on another 1.1 mi.

Paja - starting up next week. Thanks for asking!!!! My pulled muscle was feeling better and then I took a spontaneous trip to the beach this weekend to see some friends so I didn't start back up. I'm leaving Thurs to go to Atlanta til Monday and figured I should just start over when I KNOW I will have the time. Probably a cop out, but I *WILL* def be back on track next week!!!!

so i finally got off my butt and ran today i skipped week 2 and just jumped to week 3 day 1. made it all the way through, and though i was very very winded, i didn't feel like i was going to die like i did last time through the program!! hooray! i have a 5k on may 15th at my school that i decided is going to be the big one. it's 15 days before my original goal. my real goal is to COMPLETE a 5k, with no set time. i just want to be able to run the whole time, no matter the pace. hopefully this weather will stick around so i can keep it outside

I am starting C25K on Monday with one of my co-workers. I am a little scared but excited. I haven't ever really ran outside. I've done my elliptical a little bit but it's been a while for that too. (since we moved and had to put it in the creepy cold basement lol)

I started week one today on Wed. on wed. I did workout 1 on thurs I did workout 2, but my legs were dying yesterday, so I biked on the stationary bike for 30 mins, but today I plan to squeeze in workout 3. I really like it because its not too difficult but not easy either.

I haven't signed up for a 5k yet because I don't like to get ahead of myself. If I survive the program and I feel I am ready for a 5k, I will work on that.
My ultimate goal is to compete in a triathalon, but I will need to keep up the training. Swimming is no problem, and I could bike for days, but running is the worst for me. So I decided to start the c25k program to jumpstart my running training.

today, i was jogging on the treadmill and i found out that my pace is really slow like the fastest i went was 4.7 mph... but now that i realize it is slow, i will work on increasing it little by little.

i also noticed that even though my weight loss hasn't been significant, my face jiggles a lot less

trying to sign up for a 5k in early may... i hope i can do it! running outside is a lot harder than on a treadmill :/
