I use my dominant hand.

Feral - I'm the same way. I was looking at my calendar yesterday and I was like okay, so tomorrow. I literally went to the bathroom 4 times in an hour to catch it. But I caught it :)

I use my dominant hand.

My period should be starting soon... unfortunately I'm not all that regular, but on average my cycle is 24 days, which is today. And I had a teeny bit of cramping yesterday, just for a few minutes, so that may mean it's on its way.

I use my non-dominant hand. But then again I'm left-handed, and I've had to learn to do a lot of things right-handed (can openers, baseball mitts, computer mouse etc), so I tend to use both hands a bit more freely than most people, I think.

I hate my uterus :(

Why does it hurt me so...

MyPitBullSmiles 01-25-2010 02:48 PM

Dominant hand here (right hand).

I am up a little (about an lb) from yesterday. It's probably just the fact that I'm a little... backed up. I had coffee with breakfast and I exercised this morning too. So really I'm just waiting on it. LOL.

Anyone else use sex as a workout? Cause I totally do. Hubby and I joke when people seem uptight that they need more "exercise" in their life. WAHAHAHA!!

stellarosa27 01-25-2010 02:53 PM

If I had a partner, I'd use sex as a workout. Like 4 times a day.

Aclai4067 01-25-2010 03:05 PM

I use my dominant hand. But a lot of cultures (especially middle east/south asia) wipe with the left hand because you shake hands, eat, etc with your right (naturally offering your left hand for a hand shake is disrespectful there).

stargzr 01-25-2010 04:05 PM

Sex as a work-out? For sure! Usually it doesn't start that way... but in the end, it was a work out. ;)

mkendrick 01-25-2010 04:58 PM

Hahahaha, I love checking on this thread periodically.

I'm also a dominant hander (right-handed).

Ok, here's some TMI....I haven't exactly been constipated the last few days, but it hasn't been, well, easy to pass, lol. I'll be pushin but I'll get a couple nuggets out and still feel like there's stuff in there but I give up, haha. I haven't changed anything in my diet, really, I still eat several servings of raw veggies and fruits, and also whole grain and fiber and such. I guess I just need more?

mayness 01-25-2010 05:23 PM

mkendrick, have you been drinking less water? How about more or less caffeine? Did you start taking any medications or vitamins or anything recently?

stargzr 01-25-2010 05:38 PM

I use my dominant hand also...

mkendrick - Weird... I've been having the same problem! Today I tried to go anytime I felt like I might be able to. It's not going as smoothly as usual, but I have gotten more out today than I have the last couple of days. I also have been walking today (just a brisk pace) for like 10 minutes at a time (to get it moving), aside from my normal work-out and that seems to be helping.

stellarosa27 01-25-2010 05:46 PM

I was going to say it sounds like you haven't had enough water.

effie12 01-27-2010 09:15 PM

Here is a TMI question for you (on the constipation train, unfortunately). I got back to school on Saturday and haven't really been able to go since then, like little bits here and there, but there is definitely more there, if you know what I mean. And on top of that, I just feel bloaty and gassy. I'm pretty sure that I'm going to have to buy some kind of a stool softener or laxative or something but I'm scared to use it at school, as we have communal bathrooms. I eat about 40 grams of fiber a day, workout daily, and drink at least 48oz of water, usually I shoot for more. The only different thing is school. Does anyone have a suggestion for a gentle something that will get things moving again?

JadeBlue14 01-27-2010 09:59 PM

I always had that problem when I went from home to school. School food always had so much more sodium. I always upped my water when back at school. I also take a probiotic supplement. My gyno recommended it for me for the "flora of my vagina" as she put it. But I've also noticed that it really helps my stomach, too. I'm much more regular on it.

Just wanted to bump this thread because it's too funny to get buried! :)
