ARG. I've gone to THREE of the stores listed on the Diva Cup website for my area, and none of them carried it! Maybe they stopped stocking it because it wasn't a big seller? One of the stores had instead cups, but the whole point for me is the money saving and less waste. So disposable cups not really worth it....I'm going to try one more store and if they don't have it, then I guess I'll have to buy online.

I got mine at Whole Foods, they only had 2 in stock.

A hysterectomy is not a cure for PCOS because PCOS is a problem with the endocrine system- not the reproductive system. Removing your ovaries/uterus will not remove what's causing the problem to begin with. I encourage you to seek a referral to a Reproductive Endocrinologist (if you haven't already) to investigate what's going on. GL!

Ok. When I poop it is always super soft, as in it chunky or comes out in soft clumps. Seriously. I can't remember the last time I had normal size pieces. On the Bristol stool scale I am a 5 or 6 all the time.
What gives?

Last night, I woke up in the middle of the night to find myself wetting the bed. I have no idea why or how this happened, since it hasn't happened since I was about 3 according to my mom. I was sincerly grossed out especially since I had to be at work in an hour and didn't have time to wash my sheets since 5 this afternoon.

Okay in the spirit of TMI, but slightly off topic...

I was in Costa Rica for work this weekend, and I exercised on the floor of my hotel room, yay me....or so I thought until angry red spots started appearing all over my legs (very attractive).

So apparently no good deed goes unpunished.

Also on the pee topic, I would love to have clear pee, but the corset I'm wearing to make my uniform fit, is impossible to undo in a plane bathroom.

So if anyone has any advice on anti-itch cream or an easy to undo support garment I would be eternally grateful.

BatgirlAmy---so sorry that happened to you. But maybe it's a sign that your body is changing?

They have ones that look like a swimsuit, but it has clips at the bottom... it's like hooks and eyes like for a bra, but on the crotch lol. You can unhook em and lift it up to pee, then rehook it. It takes a little longer but not THAT long. I got mine at marshalls. I love it, but it has a built in bra and it makes my tatas look huge. And I'm enjoying my modest C cups (down from a DD) soooo yeah.

And batgirl, I've totally peed the bed once or twice too lol. I was always in light sleep and dreaming that I was on the can. It happens, it's normal. :P

Thanks oodlesofnoodles I'll check those out. I'd love a really idiot proof one, like with velcro.......

I did it once after I'd been out drinking - unfortunately for me my boyfriend was in the bed! I was mortified and so shocked at how calm he was - sure he was grossed out, as was I, but I seriously thought he would be more pissed off or angry or more grossed out with me than he was - especially as it was his bed!

I think it's ok and not abnormal, and I know it feels terrible - I still feel bad when I think about it - but if you just reassure yourself that it's nothing too terrible I think you'll be ok. I know I stressed out for a few weeks afterward that I'd do it again, but I didn't....maybe try not to stress as much as I did!

I started taking B Complex vitamins. They turn my urine a lovely neon yellow color. It's quite psychedelic ... sometimes I wonder if it would glow if I turned out the lights... :p :p :p

lmao... /overtired

mkendrick 09-22-2010 08:19 AM

Haha, singfortheday, I've had neon yellow pee before. Also, I get urinary tract infections about once a year, and the stuff that they give you for relief before the antibiotics start working turns your pee bright orange. And I'm not talking about dark golden pee color. Like somebody just spiked your bladder with food coloring. They told me that this was happening, but nothing could have prepared me for peeing Tang.

Two TMI tidbits of my own.

One, on my everlasting quest to get "regular," I have discovered that daily magnesium vitamins and a few days on aloe vera juice with a few days off seems to be my magic combo. That keeps the fudge store open every day of the week, lol. (I know magnesium isn't necessarily safe for everyone, so definitely look into it before taking it).

Second, Lord alive am I PMS-y! I'm actually almost a week late, but this is pretty typical of me when I'm stressed. Also, I'm not sure if anybody else has noticed this phenomenon, but if I actively wait for my TOM to come, it delays. And I'm not just talking about it feeling like it's taking forever to come because I'm waiting, it will literally be delayed by a week or two if I'm waiting for it to come. If I'm not thinking about it, it'll come right on schedule, about 28-30 days after the start of my last one. If I'm aware that it's time for it to come and I start waiting for it, it'll delay up to 45 days or so. I'm hypochondriac enough to stress myself out over it even if I know I'm not preggo or something, and that stress must throw my body off.

But, I am delayed now. I've pretty much had a solid 10 days of PMS. Bloated, tired but can't sleep, hungry, and pissy. Aaaany day now, Aunt Flo. (No chance of me being preggo, btw, lol).

Wow, I had a lot of TMI things to share :) And it felt good, haha!

mkendrick 09-22-2010 08:27 AM

Sooo, just because this is the only place I can share the irony of my TMI, I'm giving you all a play-by-play update.

Not two minutes after I posted my last thing about a delayed TOM, I went to the bathroom. Clouds parted and angels sang and my wish came true, lol. Finally some relief!
